Not really. I got the first HW. I played it for a few hours. Now, I’ve never played a Warriors game before, but I knew what to expect. It got old quick. Plus I bought it for Skull Kid and he’s locked, so I just got bored and quit. You might think it’s fun to play as your favorite Zelda villain, but it’s not. Every character felt samey to me. Again, I’m not good at these type of games. Maybe I’m uninformed. The consensus on these games seems to be that it’s a mindless masher. Maybe I’ll give it another shot sometime, but I wasn’t that enthusiastic.
Hyrule Warriors is more Warriorslike and just focuses on the fanservice aspect.
AoC gives it a little more action feel to it so the combat isn't as stale, but it's still a Warriors game at heart.
Musous are a hit or miss for people, doesnt really give much room for a gray area. Some like the grind, some don't. If you didn't like HW then it's probably not your cup of tea.
>AoC has a much smaller roster
This is why I dislike when crossover musous only pull from one game, you can tell that once the DLC came out that they were really stretching for character ideas, and even then it's only a fraction of what we got in HW:DE. I also dislike that no one else got any alternate costumes in AoC, not even recolors.
Yes, if you like musous absolutely. If you never played one before, it's worth checking out.
I recommend playing it on Yuzu if your PC is strong enough to handle 60fps, it plays so much better than on the switch.
I wish they had adventure mode like the original, all these musous need at least some post-game content but omega force is so fricking lazy they aren't even doing that anymore on their new games.
Loved both hw and aoc and I hope for a sequel to either.
Spinoff musous are always better than mainline musous which is weird.
Also Sooga was an amazing addition and I'm sad Nintendo has not acknowledged aoc at all.
yea its just like those
It's worth it

HR and AoC see a bit different

Depends on what you liked.
If you liked those games for their characters and for korok seed collecting, then sure, otherwise don't bother.
If you ever decide to give it another shot, HW is far better than AoC. AoC gameplay is slower paced, less fun, and has a much smaller roster.

AoC isn't a crossover musou
AoC is shit but it was from the very beginning a BoTW's spin-off, of course it was only gonna get characters from BoTW.
Yeah, it's fun.
No
Musou games are shit and have no depth to them
yes
Champions have personalities now, and nu-champs are written even better
it's up there as one of the better musou games, but dear god the framerate is really something to behold. it's so atrocious
How does it eun on yuzu?
apparently it's just "okay" on the compatibility list but i'm downloading it right now to check
update: playing the tutorial mission right now and it seems to work great, apart from shader building hitches but that's normal
Nice to hear, will add it to the list of games to play on yuzu
>like botw/totk
>like musou
>didn't like this
I may have mental problems

I don't remember anything from BOTW, so Impa summoning clones or something and spamming bomb seals really surprised me what is going on lmao.
If you play AoC you'll understand why he isn't your follower.
It's a musou game, so it can't be good.
I wish they had adventure mode like the original, all these musous need at least some post-game content but omega force is so fricking lazy they aren't even doing that anymore on their new games.
Unlocked Revali + Urbosa and its pretty fun.
Frick Ganker, I liked AoC - but it is significantly different from HW.
Performance wise is terrible, also has much less content than a normal musou.
Yes, if you are fan of those games then is totally worth it, it was designed specifically for people that liked BoTW after all.
Loved both hw and aoc and I hope for a sequel to either.

it's not worth it anymore, since totk introduced a better riju
