The routes of the girls are all decent to good but the by far best part of the game is the god tier comfy common route.
I've never seen another VN that could match the quality of the slice of life/banter of the common route of this game.

Muramasa, fate trilogy, cafe stella, swan song, euphoria, muv luv, senren banka, aojashin, ef, YMK, kara no shojo, white albums, keyge, etc. The point is, I've read enough. >3 games
Yes the first is the standard game, the second is more backstory plus continuation of each heroine routes, and the third game is mostly plot. Don't make the same mistake I did and give phantom trigger a chance. They are supposedly the sequel to grisaia but the way I see it they are not worth you time and not worthy to be grisaia's successor. >can I play on my vita?

I put like 60 hours into this or some shit. Got it originally because of the e-girl, but enjoyed other characters as well. tbh though the story is really boring. Get pic related for a better story, better characters, even longer, and 80% of currently. Also when you're done get the bonus disk if you can read japanese (unless they translated it, I haven't played it since 2015), it gives best girl a route.
I played that ages ago, I remember thinking the wheelchair chick route was alright, but the route for the chick with the big milkers was kinda shit.
Also there was drama around the translation of the childhood friend route IIRC (which was kinda shit anyways)
Was there drama about it? That's what I'm talking about. I never played the translated version, I'm a huge weeb so I just played the japanese version when it came out. To me it was the best thing ever. I always thought she was best girl, and she didn't have a route. So her getting a route was fricking choice. Secondly, the first time you frick her, you frick her in the ass, which is my fetish, so more points. I thought the game was one of the best slice of life VN's (maybe only 2nd to little busters).
It's been like 10 years at this point so this might not be 100% accurate, but I recall the issue being something along the line of the autistic fantranslator adding/omitting lines and entire scenes from her route that he didn't like for some reason to the point that the entire route and her character was gimped and didn't make sense.
