is Legend of Legacy any good?
I heard that it's a JRPG that focuses on gameplay, but the thing is, gameplay is the worst aspect of a JRPG...
it's also Furyu

>The Legend of Legend
>The Legacy of Legacy
Oh they remastered it for Switch? I know they had the remaster of the sequel "The Alliance Alive" on it since forever ago so I'm not sure why they waited this long. That's still cool to hear I guess.
>"The Alliance Alive"
oh this is related to that absolute garbage game?
easy skip, then...
I never actually played the sequel, what part of it didn't you like? I heard it tried being pretty story heavy where this one is pretty bare bones story wise.
Nah Alliance Alive was a good handheld jrpg
>absolute garbage game
>Legend of Legacy
Holy generic name, Batman!
ESL
Dumb ESL.
>Zoomers filtered by SaGa adjacent games
>Again

Not really a generational thing. Those games are just pleb repellant in general.
I liked it when I played it on the 3DS back in the day. It's a turn based RPG but I think they did some neat stuff. There's an elemental system that you can manipulate with the right abilities where if an element becomes dominant it's effect applies to both you and the enemies.
But it's main combat mechanic had you randomly learn new skills based on what weapon or skill you were using in combat. The chance for an "awakening" goes up the harder the enemy you fight is and the areas were generous with giving you boss level enemies for you to test your skills or grind out abilities.
I played Alliance Alive and I hated how SILENT the game was. There's 0 effort in the sound department. it made me feel sleepy all the time.
I liked it, i think it added to the overall atmosphere
The worlds populated by humans are segregated and were glorified prisons. I think it's by design
I played the 3ds version but never made it past the desert or whatever the second world was.
Too bad. It's a good game with a classic story reminiscent of snea/ps1 era jrpgs. The game really comes together in the third act and the core mechanic of building the towers and recruiting has a satisfying payoff. Too bad the SaGa gameplay elements and the low-mid budget production filters people.
You see comments here all the time of people wanting an industry crash because the budgets of games is too overblown but yet the same people don't support small budget games like these
small budget doesn't mean it's automatically good.
this is just another 4 homies in a row with no character/story depth whatsoever.
The game does have story depth as outlined in my post by it's act 3 payoff
If they censor the pantsu it'll be a hard pass for me
yes, even the man
I played it when it came out on 3ds and I got kinda bored early on.
I became very leary of remasters after Silent Hill HD and I Flatout tm dont trust them at all after Baiten Kaitos.
Remake the game or port the game get fricked with this shit.
the tomb raider ones looks pretty good and come out next week.
>Baiten Kaitos.
the original game was shit to begin with
>The Legend of Legacy
What a shitty fricking name, jesus.

What a stupid name
Cause mental gear soild is so much better

>i-it was shit on purpose! and it gets good in 43 hours I swear!!

That describes most of the genre
I remember really liking some of the music.
