ghetsis is descended from the king buried in the abyssal ruins and n is his adopted son. muttmerica doesn't have a monarchy though, team plasma is just a bunch of larpers
homie N is his kid, they're goddamn identical. How many greenhaired giants are there in Unova?
This. Ghetsis has to be closely related to him and also Ghetsis lies all the time and likes to bully N
Yeah Ghetsis not only lies but is legit unhinged. He might have deluded himself into thinking N is not his brat, but PokéMaury's DNA testing says otherwise.
N is his real son. He abounded him as a newborn so he could go recruit the sages/establish Team Plasma and returned for him once he was around 5. Ghetsis never planned to tell him the truth and it's the reason why Ghetsis spergs/rages at him so hard in BW2 and tried to kill him; because he started coming to the realization that N was superior to him in everyway and his brainwashing was undone. Them having the same hair is the obvious red flag.
I should have also added, the psychology behind him wanting to murder N is because Ghetsis felt he was the only one who could end his life because they are of the same blood' the only person who could have that permission. It plays into Ghetsis' narcissistic/psychopath personality. The drama at the end of BW2 showing all this was intentional, otherwise there would have been no reason to have Ghetsis threaten to kill N. Thus far this has been the only instance where a character threatened to kill another; the USUM part where Ghetsis threatens to kill Lillie was just a reference playing on Ghetsis' murderous character.
plus the original bw story was that N was going to be a moron pokemon/human hybrid, and that's why Ghetsis hates him so much. You see bits and pieces of this when ghetsis calls him a freak, as opposed to calling him a freak just because he can understand Pokemon.
>N was going to be a moron pokemon/human hybrid
I believe I've only heard that once before. Was it from a Masuda interview?
yup
true, I wonder what they were really going for with his original concept. He seems like legendary pokemon levels of intelligent with psychic powers (past and future reading)
some of his concept art makes him look like an angry moron
>inb4 retconned to be distantly related to the Celestic people to explain his connection to pokegods
More like the Area Zero civilization
>clearly a reincarnation of the Abyssal King, who could speak to pokemon
>King’s name is redacted in the same way as Terapagos’s page
>SV already having several Unova connections, even to the underwater civilization (project Atlantis)
>can see both the past and the future
>Rumored to be born from Pokemon.
I'm pretty sure this was kept in the game. It might be placebo given that's been over a decade since I last played.
Yeah the zoroark Ghetsis fricked.
I mean it's kinda hinted at in the games why make a deal out of Zoroark transforming into humans when it doesn't even make sense gameplay wise and doesn't N call Zorua his brother
I love how this fanbase is so obsessed with pokemon to the point a lot of fans think some anti-social and possibly autistic kid is actually a pokemon.
>I wonder what they were really going for with his original concept.
It looks they wanted him to be more villainous at first. "He considers himself perfect" is straight up Ghetsis. Seems like they basically split Beta N into the two characters when they decided to make him more sympathetic.
Yeah, interesting. And the right choice in this case, even though N as a character is a bit of a mess. I can't help but admire how insane they made his origin story in a pokemon game of all things.
Why does this come off as a self insert?
because he's described as a genius mand mathematically gifter even though that's completely irrelevant to his role in the plot
He was supposed to be as smart as a supercomputer.
That's a bit of an assumption on your part anon.
"Rumored to be born by a Pokemon" in an eatly draft doesn't mean that he woukd have been an hybrid, to me it seems more like they were planning to male him a "Tarzan" character, which actually is mantained in the finished game with the little add on that ghechis is his father instead of unknown
Wouldn't thousands of other people be his ancestors if the king died 2500 years ago? Or is inbreeding for humans just as fine as it is for pokemon?
Source?
Abyssal King’s name contains the same number of characters as Ghetsis’s last name, which carries across all languages.
The King had the ability to speak to Pokemon, implying N is is descendant. Meaning either Ghetsis is his biological father all along or Ghetsis is larping as a royal.
yeah he's related to az
SEXO with the Prince
His mom is a Zoroark
Probably. Everyone has a royal connection within 11 generations.
>YOUR MOTHER WAS A ZOROARK AND YOUR FATHER SMELLED OF ORAN BERRIES
>Was the King of Kalos
>his pokemon rides a flower
Is he supposed to be Clovis
Why is big
Ate his vegetables like a good boy
Garlic king
He is the king in our hearts
