there's nobody to co-op with, and you HAVE to play as a jogger to progress through the levels
i'd reccommend revelations 2, but not really since that game also has joggers. but the raid mode in better imho
at the very least don't give the money to capcom

games are both full of censorship too, like you can't really pan the camera to see the characters asses, and when you gen an ability the UI completely covers the characters ass
also they've threatened to sue some dlc sites for hosting nsfw mods
not to mention the rest of their games also being woke trash
Its worse in every way and one of the worst RE games period, that woman that was following Claire was the most unsufferable game character i've ever witnessed and just a sign of how westernized Capcom did become.
I hated 2 as well.
I really don't get the love it has. >B-but it has a good raid mode
Seems to be the only good thing people say about it.
Doesn't excuse the rest of the game.
It was great at release.
Perfectly designed for playing on the 3DS in short bursts, maybe a chapter each day or evening since each one starts with a recap of the previous one and ends with a preview of the next one.
The port still keeps these in and it's weird as frick.
Rev 2 didn't release on handhelds initially and still decided to include those previews/recaps.
It's in a strange place.
It plays, looks and works exactly like a classic RE should, looks amazing actually.
But the dual character control, swapping and simply dropping the items in places changes the game alot.
It would have been a much better game simply by removing the item dropping and just having item boxes.
The revelations are side stories, you can play them whenever usually.
But:-
Revelations 1 is set between 4 and 5.
But because the series around that time was a shit show, it's not a good idea to jump from 4 to 5, better to play 5 first.
2 is set between 5 and 6 but barry and claire make no appearance in either of those, so you can play it whenever to see what they were up to around that time.
here's a timeline of releases

i'd say play revelations 2 after 5 followed by 6
7 and viii have nothing to do with the story
maybe rev 1 before rev 2, but the story of re is all over the place
Imagine telling people to play Rev 2, 5 or 6, for people with good taste Resident Evil ended with RE Zero or Outbreak 2 if you really wanna include that
>I assume the order is 012345678
0 isn't required to play 1 since it was made after 3, but no matter what order you play 0 and 1 in there's going to be some massive disconnect for Rebecca's character.
For 2 and 3 I'd strongly recommend playing the original versions before the remakes because they're very different from each other.
Revelations takes place right before 5 but you can play it after 5 if you'd like.
Revelations 2 is after 5, but you can play it later than that if you'd like. Also despite what you might think Revelations 2 isn't a sequel to Revelations.
REsistance and REverse are multiplayer only titles that have absolutely no plot, you don't need to play them at all.
There's also the Outbreak titles which are PS2 games with online co-op that take place during the Raccoon City incident and can be played after 3. If you like the gameplay of the original Resi titles you should definitely look into playing that online, preferably with friends or other newbies. Be warned that it's probably the hardest Resi title though, and that playing them solo is somewhat painful due to the stupid as hell AI.
Imagine telling people to play Rev 2, 5 or 6, for people with good taste Resident Evil ended with RE Zero or Outbreak 2 if you really wanna include that
It's probably the best looking 3DS title. It's the only game that actually gives the BSAA a presence and makes you feel like Chris and Jill have actual jobs rather than them just dealing with their own echoes from their past.
In terms of gameplay it's fine, the weapon modding system and overall actiony gameplay clashes with the attempt at returning to horror but it still manages to be solid.
I liked it. Its short though, I replayed it this weekend on PC and my time was under 6 hours (but I also played it multiple times years ago). The final boss was actually really cool. I wish more people liked the Revelation games
its not particularly great, but its a solid game. i enjoyed it for the focus on gameplay. the online coop-multiplayer is surprisignly fun.
Revelaitons
>its a shitty resident evil with forced co-op good?
no

Is RE0 any good?
the characters are good, but i see no replay value
i chose to watch a let'splay of it instead

Yes, don't expect it to be the second coming of RE2 or RE1 but its very good nonetheless.
The ship sections are pretty good
The rest of it is absolute garbage
I got this from humble bundle when do I play it? I assume the order is 012345678 and then revelations and resistance and reverse

Gotta play the shit games so you can appreciate how great the good games really are.

Outbreak should definitely be included.
And for the ones that do not know Outbreak 1-2 servers are still up, you just need to follow these instructions
Its good when you're playing as Jill.

It's good, loved the raid mode and Jills perfect ass
Revelations 1 is good. 2 is definitely worse but also not bad, just boring most of the time.
I liked it. Its short though, I replayed it this weekend on PC and my time was under 6 hours (but I also played it multiple times years ago). The final boss was actually really cool. I wish more people liked the Revelation games
>revelaitions
It's revelations you fricking moron.
