OSRS is fun on and off to scratch that nostalgic itch, but RS3 is not even worth looking at.
RS3 ironman bossing is in a much better spot than OSRS bossing because RS3 rewards solo bossing feats
EOC was shitfrick on release but that was over 10 years ago and now high-end bossing in OSRS is exclusively attrition grinds (Zuk and solo raids) or dancing in coordinated fashion with four other gays for hours (everything else) which is superhomo
>RuneScape in 2023
Can be, but you have to follow the Rules.
[1] The only acceptable account types are RS3 Ironman and OSRS Ultimate Ironman.
[2] Skilling HiScores have always been bots and paypig prostitutes; doesn't matter if we're talking 2003 or 2023 - as such the only acceptable account goals are [I] bossing accomplishments (skill) and [II] questing without guides (point-and-click adventure chill).
If you follow the Rules you can have a superkino time with RuneScape either F2P or P2P, but if you break the rules you immediately become a colossal homosexual with no life and no take bakcs.
OSRS is a lot of fun still. Haven't played RS3 in a long time
Nah, the novelty has really worn off. Questing is shite and doesn't have that cooked up in a middle England basement vibe any more, combat has become what it's like in every other mmo, too many content for the sake of content minigames and achievements like 99s no longer feel rewarding given how common they are.

As a RS3 tard, I can suggest if you feel like you want to accomplish something, go for the ironman route, as the game becomes incredibly interesting (massive pain in the ass via grinding) as you progress and seek to gain new gear. Otherwise play a normal account where you will succumb to actually trying to get more keys become you get a really good purple prize one time.
There are also ways to get lamps to train skills you regularly don't like to train. (Jack of Trades aura, Penguin hunting, actually being able to crack open effigies, etc.)
A herb bag can be obtained after two weeklies, and upgraded after two more weeklies.
it's fun and scratches an itch in my brain that no other game can.
however, it's mostly a singleplayer game with occasional mmo elements, and your fellow gamers are exceptionally socially maladjusted
I enjoy watching videos of runescape more than playing it.
as an idler game yes, as a serious game no
No
having lgtb items in the game and not wearing them is more powerful than not having lgtb items at all
god no
frick no
Reality: you sold to some flipper buying them for below market price or spammed for ages to sell shit
the idea is fun, but why would you want to trade like a 3rd world brown man's country in practice
>why would you want to interact with other people in an MMO
you still do that but youre just a poorgay that doesnt trade above the cash stack limit
Top is such a fricking fantasy
t. zoomer
suck my left nutsuck, trading a shit without ge
clearly youre lying, because thats exactly what it was like
t. never traded in Fally Park or Varrock West
that was just w2 in 04
yeah loved having to automate messages to sell shit
get fricked
Top never happened.
If you didn't like it as a kid you probably won't as an adult. I still play it once in a while now but I played the shit out of it as a kid

Yes, if you're trans.

Only if you are playing for quests
Otherwise it's an idle game
it takes forever to get anything done and is ultimately a tremendous waste of time. make what you will of this.

no
long answer: noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
I play OSRS Hardcore Ironman in bed to help sleep. Its relaxing. Its a good idle game.
OSRS is a lot of fun still. Haven't played RS3 in a long time
ironman is fun
ive never understood the appeal of this game
ragnarok online mogged this shit back in the day
Yes
It wasn't worth getting into when it was first launched. Runescape was always liquid shit and all le epic memes doesn't make it any better.
>killing shit is more efficient than skilling
fix this
it's fun and scratches an itch in my brain that no other game can.
however, it's mostly a singleplayer game with occasional mmo elements, and your fellow gamers are exceptionally socially maladjusted
I like the music
but the game seems to be an empty game filled with bots
No, not even 10 years ago
No because they ruined the quests.
It's not the game you used to know before.
No, they've started censoring old content to make way for trannies. Any Runelite plugins that revert these changes results in a ban. Just pirate it.
