Like, they had all this talent, but philosophically were only interested in making garbage. The last few years, I haven't been so sure. I think they really have lost basically all their talent outside maybe art departments and software engineering, and are genuinely incapable of doing anything other than collecting tax on beloved IPs.

But the actual developers who make and create ideas for the games, and definitely the writers are talentless southern Cali movie industry flunkies. Do people still play D4? Their playerbase must've dropped by at least 90%? Think I had about 12-13 people on my friend list playing at launch but almost noone was playing after a month. I haven't seen anyone even start the client now since I can't even remember.
Also, HA, I told you all of you homosexuals. There is no longevity in a game that just sprays out leveled items and enemies like diarrhea. There's no soul in this and there's no difficulty. It's just an endless stream of numbers that go slightly higher like the never-ending scrolling page on a social media platform. No rewards you get in D4 can compete with the feeling of finding a Shako/HoZ early in a ladder, or a high rune which you can trade away for a fortune. Even if you do find something amazing, you'll have outleveled it in a day or two anyway making it useless.
I will try it again in S2. I don't think the 5 additional bosses will save it, depends on how fast the extra 40% reduction in leveling length to 100 will feel in practice. The game was clearly rushed to deliver a barely functional product and now they are fixing what ought to be fixed on release and calling it content. I think the game will be good eventually though, in fact it's a better game than D2 right now.
