well it’s not for everyone but it’s my fav game and I’d say better than sotn >tightly designed and atmospheric >superb graphics and audio >fun to try and 100% in one sitting
sure zero mission and dread are smoother to control but super’s flaws help make it what it is

it's definitely the best in the Metroidvania genre
definitely overrated, symphony on the other hand is underrated

sotn is waaay overrated.
the game is easy as frick, the inverted castle is just bloat and the rpg mechanics are meh.
don't get me wrong, i love sotn, but is not an underrated game.

9/10 game. Tourian sequence being movie game shit instead of being ball busting kino like OG Metroid knocks it down a point.
I'd give it like 7.5-8. It's a good game, but I don't love it as much as the internet at large seems to.
