>SRW OG Saga 1/2 are actually very good and an exception. They are on the GBA.
There's also the updated PS2 version of them as a single disk that got a full fan translation last year
Sorr of but no, the Mech outfitting and tuning makes customisation more than fire emblem. It's important to optimize this. Also there are buffs/abilities you activate during player phase. These are crucial the being successful in the game.
hey, she incapacitated 7/9 mass production evangelions with only a couple of minutes left on her batteries while also running on low performance mode
and then only lost once they pulled out the mcguffin weapon
they are great if you are into the shows or like cute anime girls
as far as pure gameplay mechanics, the games are too easy, and they took out the SR Points in 30 (which at least made things tricky) for whatever reason
While they've certainly gotten easier over time some of the older games can actually at least put up some sort of a challenge. It's just that, weirdly, making the games more challenging encourages using the "better" units rather than the ones you like, which is contradictory for a very fanservice heavy series. I do wish they'd at least dial it back to around Z2 levels where shit's easy but at least it requires a tiny fraction of brain capacity to play.
It's kind of insane that this series would release AT LEAST one game a year from 1993 up until 2019. Often more. But then they took two years to make 30 and it's been radio silence since then. I'm concerned.
Its cool if you like watching chibi mechs doing cool things and seeing your favorite characters interact with people they normally wouldn't. The gameplay is boring but so are most games like this if you can plan more than two steps ahead.
Super Robot Wars were ruined since the dawn of better graphics.
past SRW were fun because of shitty SFC graphics allowed them to make shit up and have fun like Layzner characters getting the a different upgraded Devil Gundam, getting Ex-S Gundam, heck there was a time Five Star Stories unit was in SRW
Zerorymer
The anime version (which is what was used in SRW) is a story of an MC with an evil split personality who was apparently the original creator of the antagonists who are fighting for their lost homes or some shit like that, which might have been interesting if it was fleshed out but it was only a 4 episode OVA so all the exposition and fights had to be rushed as hell with a rushed blow everything up ending.
The original manga source material was straight up edgy 80's hentai.
not really, the gameplay is a giant snoozefest. The animations are pretty sick and sometimes the characters from different series interacting with one another manages to be funny, but the overall plots are boring. The recent games are also way too easy even without autism minmaxing your customizations.
The gameplay is shit.
SRW OG Saga 1/2 are actually very good and an exception. They are on the GBA.
Not wrong
>SRW OG Saga 1/2 are actually very good and an exception. They are on the GBA.

It plays like Fire Emblem

You're shit
SRPGs are fun
Suck my balls
Modern SRW aka "park one unit in the middle of the map" is shit
if you like mecha anime, sure
>Attacks 3 at once
Are these types of attacks in SRW 30?
30 still has MAP attacks
No, thankfully. Squads are fricking terrible in SRW.
If she was that powerful she wouldn't have died like a moron

The OG games and alpha series are
I'd say the entire series from Alpha (skipping Impact) up to around maybe Z2 is great. Z3 and beyond is... Questionable.
Z1>Z2>>>Z3
What's the Alpha series

Don't they have a gacha game?
They have two, I think? Unless they killed off the older one. No idea, I don't play gacha trash.
The main director left bampresto
Terada left Bamco because Harada runs things around there now, and Harada's only greenlighting Tekken and AAA shit. Source is my ass.
It's over
give me ALL OG games on steam in english or else
you guys aren't that dumb right? he's just working as a freelancer now. like Sakurai.
>macross can finally be in a srw game again
>they don't make any

QRD

Has Captain Earth appeared in a SRW yet? I want to look at the Earth Engine more

I want the next OG game. The games are best when they can make up attacks and animations from scratch.
they're not good games but they have cute girls and did a crossover with Space Battleship Yamato so they're good games.
i got so sick of killing yamato grunts by the end of that game
>title is super robot wars
>real robot anime are still in
Might as well include battletech robots in it.
Yes
>No Sir Killalot
>No Sgt Bash
>No Matilda
>No Hypnodisc
Inferior Robot Wars
I just want more bondage and nudity
