What do you currently use?
I use AK citrus and it's great. Basically the same as Tamiya. Better than squeeze tubes.
I use whatever superglue is available
Okay. This is plastic cement only. But it is great. Get the citrus version of possible, your nose will thank you.

Try getting an airbrush hood and running some negative pressure in your work area to actually remove the harmful odors.
I hate the way the citrus stuff smells. Just like scentless super glue, which also smells weird and bad. Just be a man and breath in some volatile chemicals for once

Any glue with a brush and not a dirty tube that gets clogged all the time is good.

It's fricking awesome, I use it as one of my 2 plastic glues together with Revel Contacta Professional - Revel for bigger stuff, Tamiya for details.
One caveat is that it's designed for capillary action, i.e. you dry-fit the piece and brush the glue along the seam, it seeps in and leaves much less glue traces than say, Revell or another conventional plastic glue. But if you're gluing something huge like a 40k tank hull it might be too quick so you risk moving the parts before you glue it all, hence Revell.
Black person you could literally just use MEK in a gallon jug from Home Depot. I’m sure this product which has been formulated in a lab by scientists and engineers over several of iterations will work great
I just use testors. Fixes every small piece perfectly.
It's basically MEK. Use if whenever you don't need filler material, are trying to glue large surfarces together or need time to position the parts.
I used it on a few projects. It’s good, but the fumes are WAY stronger than the thicker (GW-style) plastic glues. Personally , I’d buy it again if the price per volume was close to or less than the “normal” stuff (which it was at the time I used it).

JFC there are still so many people here who think plastic cement is just thin super glue. No wonder so many people think it sucks.
It's absolutely fine for the job, although overpriced as all modeling chemicals are. Do an jnternet search and you can buy half a litre for the same cost as a Tamiya pot if you're lucky.

Could you just just get a bottle of acetone and a tiny brush?
It's great, but also a scam. Why? Because it's chemically identical to their airbrush cleaner which comes in a much larger bottle. Like the ingredients are the same, the balance of the ingredients varies by .01% for legal purposes so they can be sold as different products.
The only advantage of the "cement" is that it comes with a handy applicator brush. Buy two bottles. One for use as glue, one to drop sprue into to make sprue goo (look this up of you've never heard of it, quite versatile). When you run low, just get a big bottle of tamiya airbrush cleaner and use it to refill your small bottle.

I have tried Tamiya, Mr. Hobby, Mig (the thin one) and some shitty Italeri one. Tamiya is my favorite. Mig is very similar, but a little bit thicker and slower. Mr Hobby was weird but good too.
