Those threads that are like "would you survive Silent Hill, Dead Space or Resident Evil" reveal all the "fanboys" clutching their pearls about the original, never played it. They're genuinely confused when you bring up the bioweapons and just think it's zombie shootbang.
It's weird how in RE1 and its remake the other creatures actually outnumber the zombies by a small amount. But in 2, 3 and CV zombies are closer to 75-80% of the enemies. They should have added more BOWs in those games to balance out all the damn zombies.
What do you mean? Like which of the original trilogy is the best or which versions of them are the best?
By the trilogy itself, I still like RE1 the most, then 2 then 3:N. For which versions, RE 1 has 3 versions, 2 has 2 versions and 3:N only has 1. >RE1 - Director's Cut (Richard cover) [Has Japan's difficulty as the default] > Longbox (original version with NA difficulty [harder than Japan's] > Director's Cut Dualshock Edition (Zombie cover). >RE 2 - Dualshock is the more complete version.
Gotcha. Well, like I said, Director's (NON-Dualshock) for 1, Dualshock for 2. 3:N is the only option. As for which platform, you have a million different answers. Emulation or source ports on PC are probably the best bets. I have them on PC, emulation and PS3's digital library (which only has Director's Cut Dualshock for 1 to my knowledge).
If you want the PC versions, you can get them here.

RE fans make CP using characters like Claire and Sherry and it shows how fricked in the head you people are. Glad you both Capcom and you frickers kicked me out of the Fandom.
I don't like survival horror games
Just play on Easy or Normal and it isn't a survival horror game.
what if it was called resident rape 2 instead?
So close, but you posted the wrong RE2.
The original is kinda gay tbh
no u

i don't have to have played it to know it's better
Black person what bioweapons are in silent hill? did you even play the game?

That literally would make no sense.
Why would BOWs outnumber the zombies in Raccoon City?
Cuz fun.
>buh muh gay ass lame af story no one but morons care about
Cuz fun.
og re2 is easy and boring
and zapping is neat, but at the end of the day it's mostly just a gimmick that just changes cutscnes
yeah best RE as in moronic, hahahahaha gottem
Frick you
5 is the best RE
Nah that's the worst one besides 6
the worst current numbered re is easily 8. it's fun once but it's AWFUL to replay, and the dlc was shit too,
I love booting it up and doing a run once in a while, great game.
>REvelations with a re2 skin
no thanks, bro
RE4 (og version) is better and so is the PS1 version of RE2.
Terrible DEmake made for zoom zooms that HATE Resident Evils.
real talk. which version of the ps1 re is the best
doesn't matter. just play the game

Is Chronicles not possible on pc?
Never got a port. You can emulate but that's about all.
That's RE 7
Falls off a cliff after the PD, which is admittedly one of the best levels in any video game ever.
>baby's first Resident Evil
and there's nothing wrong with that. Pre RE resident evil is irrelevant and inferior.
Just like the original RE2.
It's babby's... It's BABBY'S FIRST...
Stupid newbie.

4 is always going to be the best, this one is probably 2nd best
