i'm 100% convinced the people that say "7 is the best game in the series" are involved in some sort of massive troll or sega/twittergay psyop to brainwash people into buying it (i'm glad i pirated it)
the story's only good up until nanba defects and that's when the first cracks form in the story and in ichiban's character. the story only goes downhill from there and nosedives when the callback characters appear. the ending cutscene had the potential to be the peak of the game but then aoki gets killed by that homosexual for the lulz and completely ruins the moment in a way not even haruka's reveal in 5 does. also, how the frick do you manage to make a plot that's so all over the place considering the series could manage to juggle 4 protagonists at once with efficiency?
the gameplay is an unbalanced slog with damage sponge bosses. every single character has so many redundant attacks that are underwhelming as frick compared to a handful that you're only sabotaging yourself if you don't spam. the purposefully segmented grind between character levels, job levels (WHICH NET LESS XP FOR NO FRICKING REASON) and bond levels just prolongs a single first-time playthough even longer. this is not up to debate, there is no counterargument towards how shit this game's gameplay is besides "iT's a FreSh eXPeRieNce!!1" or simply namecalling people for pointing this out. thank frick for the run away button.
also old ichiban actually looks 42 instead of in his early 30s.
Idk what to tell you. Get good. I had no issues levelling and used the battle arena to grind when necessary.
>muh callback characters bad
Why? What makes characters appearing bad, especially when they are used in a thematically relevant way like Kiryu is?
>every single character has so many redundant attacks that are underwhelming as frick compared to a handful that you're only sabotaging yourself if you don't spam
That's how JRPGs work, yes.
>Aoki getting killed is... le bad!
Why? His actions have consequences and its his own fault. There's no conceivable way that his future was going to be alright, despite Ichiban's assurance.
I definitely agree with the gameplay criticism here. Also hate how you can't manually move characters making AOE attacks complete RNG for how useful they'll be.
exactly the same reason I un-installed it (pirated of course) after the shitty character nanba defects, and ichiban's naive 'personality' appears, it literally became a shonen fricking story. frick japs character writing
The story is dogshit and easily the worst one in the mainline games yeah >bunch of tedious flashbacks and setups in ch1 that have barely any payoff until like ch9 or 11 >Adachi does a bunch of obviously suspicious shit in ch2 like randomly stalking a freshly released ex yakuza while knowing almost everything about him and demanding he go to the exact place he gets dumped after being shot then stalks him to his new apartment immediately after their first night there, I guess whatever interesting plot he might have had got cut so his enemy data model turned into MIRROR FACE and he got shuffled off into the post credits along with >Horinouchi. Man does literally nothing aside from cucking someone so hard they go insane. Post credit scene was embarrassing >guy who attacks the bar smiles devilishly and they go uh is he a secret evil korean??? and then the chapter ends with him being tortured and executed for no reason by a spooky masked Korean who then shows up outside Bleach Japan in ch8 for no reason, says that he was too evil and extreme for the other evil koreans, and then vanishes from the game like a random trash mob >the end of ch6 to the end of ch9 is the most putrid writing in the series where nothing had to happen and no conflict actually existed but everyone goes turbo moron for no reason. Zhao didn't even need the proof, he's Seong-hui's bottom b***h!!! They lead you to the heart of their secret money laundering operation, destroy Ijincho and ruin Ogikubo for literally no reason!!! Nanba gets character assassinated and ruined, It's pure aids!!!!! >the ogasawara convo is like a mini version of that one politician in 3, you know a story is bad when you have multiple breaks in between the same conversation >boring political bullshit >MIRROR FACE >Lmao 2 babies (he doesn't even tell anybody and already considers Arakawa a father) >lol kume
Nice cope gay, Saejima's chapter is the worst one in the game and people drop it right there because of how shit its pacing is and its literally the second fricking chapter
Your experience of the story changes if you have played 0 or 7 in unintended ways.
The new character changes are all over the place in quality and some of them look awful for the face rigging since they didn't change any of it.
Combat is worse by a significant margin be it from styles being worthless or outright unusable now, the new weapon effects which are on like half the endgame weapons, or enemies knocking you down on attacks that never knocked you down in the original leading to really unfun experiences.
The new enemy armor system is also cancer as it destroys Brawler and Gunman (Without Pierce).
Bosses are not only easier, but their fights are shorter, and they now have OHKO magical attacks. Because they decided to go the 6 route of a single health bar they also die so quickly compared to the original. They also made the secret boss fight worse somehow which I thought was impossible since it was a Tiger Drop fight originally.
Seals are such an absurdly bad system compared to Symbols it's insane they ever got the green light, especially with how they are implemented with fixed RNG but are a pain in the ass to collect.
The story and substories are unchanged, for better or for worse. They cut a substory (and card) because it involved a group of okama but added six more.
It's basically a downgrade in every single way.
Thank you for your help in threads past.
In original Ishin, where can I get more Small Clockworks? Will I have to wait until Battle Dungeons to get them? I would like to upgrade my Golden Pistol with a Tsujikaze, but I need 10 clockworks for it.
I am in Chapter 3, and I am trying to do everything open to me before joining the Shinsengumi. I have done fan dancing, singing, some of the weapon training, fishing, and some friendships. How do I get more Style XP to level up the individual styles? Just do more random battles? I am focusing on Brawler, because I recall it is a lot less useful in late game.
I am doing the Postman, thanks to your help.
>Will I have to wait until Battle Dungeons to get them?
Yes, anything regarding materials is pretty much BD related if you want to get them in any reasonable time. I think normal encounters get them in the latter third of the game as a rarer drop. It's better to just get to chapter 5 or 6 (Don't remember which) to unlock the BD so you can get what you need easily.
The first two areas are easy but the third area you should have a decked out Golden Gun with Blink and Two at bare minimum with Shinada and at least one Rikiya or Lao Ka Long. >How do I get more Style XP to level up the individual styles? Just do more random battles?
In OG Ishin it's random battling and that's it. If you want to actually grind the style EXP you will need to wait until you unlock the priest's store, obtained the Dharma Hood, and have done the weapon shop friendship in Rakugai's which you can do whenever. After that you need to do chicken racing until you have about 600+ ryo (So about 1-2 wins). >Equip Dharma Hood. >Buy about six Sword That Time Forgot. >Go to the priest's shop and buy 90 Grinding Stones. >Go to the blacksmith and upgrade three of them to any of the three rusty swords. >Run back to the priest's shop and buy 90 more stones. >Run back to the blacksmith and upgrade the last three. >Sell all the rusty swords to a store. >Use the 100kish dharma you now have to buy any of the 10000 cost daifuku (Circular food things).
There's no faster way than this to get dharma in the OG and there's nothing cost-effective enough. Even with this method you need to win two chicken races each time you want to level like three times in a style. In Ishin Kiwami you can just sell weapons from the BD for virtue and then use that to buy the daifuku instead.

Thanks. Just so I understand: You can buy these things, the white ones are general XP, the coloreds are for the styles. You can get to 25 in a style, then you have to limit break (somehow), and your maximum total level is 50?
If I max out a style, stop using it and use another, of course. Anything else I should know, or anything there I got wrong?
Bro are you are seriously ranking Judgement in S Tier? Maybe the story & characters. The side content is mid at best and terrible at its worst. Also the gameplay is horribly unbalanced and easy.
The character and story are great, the substories are pretty good overall and culminated in them all actually having mattered, Tiger's fun, it expanded Kamurocho quite a bit, the final boss fight is great, and drone racing is one of the best minigames in the series. Yeah, it has the tailing issue and the Keihin Gang, but besides those it's great.
I agree with everything but the substories. The least amount of memorable substories for me. Also Drone Racing, while fun, is way too easy if you don't purposefully gimp yourself by refusing to upgrade. Paradise VR is actual trash. Giving the player to determine every single dice roll makes the game entirely predictable and boring - might as well give the player a set number of moves instead of engaging with the tedious roll mechanic. Also it's not just tailing that's boring. Chasing is equally brain dead and didn't evolve at all throughout the series. Investigations are also less than stellar. The disguise mechanic is entirely underutilized and they don't even let you wear them in Premium Adventure. Sometimes you are rewarded for picking the correct dialogue options with a few useless SP - no meaningful dialogue choices ever in a fricking detective game. No karaoke. This game is A Tier for its story, characters and OST - the rest is actively trying to hold it back.
Most of that genuinely didn't bother me. I liked the substories because things like the hat, Yosuke's stuff, the guy insulting Yagami's looks, Ono Michio, the dating advice friendship, and Yagami hating cats were all fun. I also thought drone racing was actually hard because the time trials require quite specific loadouts if you want to manage them at all, and even getting 1st in all tournaments is pretty rough due to the rubberbanding.
Yes, that's correct. At 25 you need to fill out the entire board of the style, meaning you need like 25ish normal level up orbs as well as the 25 style orbs, then you go to your trainer for that style (Pistol = William, Unarmed = Komaki, Sword and Wild Dance = Ginryu) and they'll let you fight and beat them so you can limit break.
It throws you to level 26 and functions as if you were level 1 again in that style in terms of EXP gained up to level 50. Everything after you limit break is just extra QTE prompts during Heat Actions for more damage, more damage for attacks in general, speed bonuses, more restaurant bonus buffs, etc.
Ginryu is going to be by far the hardest to beat with William being the runner up. Komaki is a joke by comparison.
what's your main issue with Dead Souls? I like it, it's just dumb fun I can turn my brain off to play and relax
Also, would you recommend actually trying to do the substories in Kenzan, or should I just use the guides to play the main story and then pray for a full translation patch someday?
I like how unique everyones yakuza rankings always are
(I'll play the kurohyous when the new translation releases)
why is 4 so low? I'd honestly have put it around there as well after my first playthrough, but replaying the whole franchise has helped me appreciate every single entry so much more, I love all of these games (except K2)
Before Gaiden comes out I plan to replay Yakuza 6.
Maybe my opinion on the game will change since it's been years since I played it for anything other than Doing Today is a Diamond, Brand New Stage and Hands Karaoke
why didn't you at the very least finish the main story in Ishin?
>what's your main issue with Dead Souls? >The framerate is absolutely awful. >Substories that aren't Majima's are complete garbage and even half of Majima's are filler garbage. >Hermits, Dipteras, and Monkey Boys are annoying to fight but they slap them everywhere in Ryuji and Kiryu's Kamurochos. >You need to zone out in order to get dates and rank ups with hostesses which means Ryuji's in particular take hours or running one of the longest routes killing the same enemies over and over again just to finish them. >Akiyama's objectively the best character because of Elise existing so when you go to everyone else it feels like you downgraded. >Game lies to you and makes you think Head Tracking is the way to play when mashing R1 with the amulet to buff headshots is the actual intended way to play since hipfiring lets you dodge stuff. >Story is nonexistent, there's just nothing there. >Like 125+ floors of the Underground Subterranea to fight Amon. >Before you unlock Amon you have to wait around 30 seconds to a minute in the first fight before you get stopped so if you die due to his OHKO attack you have to run the entire 35+ floors again.
There's just a lot of stuff. >and then pray for a full translation patch someday?
Even when a translation patch comes out a guide will be mandatory as multiple substories are missable, if you make mistakes you get locked out of the secret boss, and you can potentially lock yourself out of Gyoutensai's substory if you finish his inventions (Very unlikely). It's really up to you, because if you're gonna go for the secret boss or 100% you need multiple tabs of the GameFAQs guide open, the LPArchive, and Japanese guides (For drops and sword crafting).
Just got ishin only one I've not played, picked up the remastered collection second hand only 15 bongish money's, why do all the cex stores smell like piss? Seriously I've been in a few and they all reek of piss.

Nothing will surpass the feeling of Yakuza 5's opening for me. I really hope RGG releases all the unreleased songs for the 20th Anniversary of the franchise or something
I really liked 7. Any other rps in a modern real world setting? Preferably in a city setting with adults as opposed to like in a military battlefield or kids playing.
Before Gaiden comes out I plan to replay Yakuza 6.
Maybe my opinion on the game will change since it's been years since I played it for anything other than Doing Today is a Diamond, Brand New Stage and Hands Karaoke
I'm still playing through most of the series for the first time. I'm on 4 right now and I'd honestly say it's my least favorite so far, even though I enjoy playing as Akiyama and Saejima
If you don't think 4 and 5 are the best games in the series, you are automatically by default a 0gay. 5 was considered the best by everyone until 0 caught on and western normies went "LMAO NUGGET" and ruined the series.
I don't really like 4 that much, mainly because I feel the story is kind of not good, though that has more to do with how they balanced the playable characters. By the time one character's story seemed like it was about to take off and be really interesting, the game cuts it off and moves on to the next guy and they don't get to do anything again until you're halfway through Kiryu's part. It's the most egregious with Saejima I feel like, because you fight Majima and you're told all the stuff about the setup and you think this story is about to get really interesting, only for the game to say never mind since now we gotta play as Tanimura and Saejima just disappears until the last chapter of Kiryu's story, reunites with his sister off screen and now you're in the finale.
After playing Kiwami 2 I can see why these games are turn-based going forward on this new engine. The combat is fricking dogshit and feels like some jank garry's mod crap
Something I noticed with western fanbases of Japanese nieche franchises is that they are more sensitive, gay and offended than your average gamer.
One thing I gotta hand to gta is that the fans don't go around being offended about jokes or make the characters homosexual.
I was surprised of the amount of gay memes and edits I found of the characters in yakuza that I actually believed that maybe sega did some foju baiting with kazuma and other characters but not at all. Other than oda being gay for Tachibana every other character especially the main ones are so on your face straight. In kiwami kazuma keeps reminding Rina about how he only swings for the other team and doesn't want to even try gay shit. Majima has only fallen for women and has Canonically made one pregnant.
It's just weird how nieche franchises keep getting the gayest most deranged fanbases.
>the fans don't go around being offended about jokes or make the characters homosexual
they got rid of a random troony NPC in the most recent rerelease of 5
majima was made to be fujo bait for kiryu since the first game
you have to be fricking blind not to see that shit
also you sound like a 0gay who found out what a fanbase is 9 months ago and now mad you have an unwanted “image” that is out of your control if you discuss your interests on other parts of the internet
Mine's whole thing is being autistically in love with Daigo. The only reason he's even a villain is because Daigo got shot by the evil white terminator guy
It's from the PrintCircle book in 5. There is no higher resolution version of the photo.
I saved that one in particular, because it looks vaguely naughty.
It's good as long as you're willing to actually learn how to play the game. Don't listen to the mindless opinions of "ugh BLOCKuza 3 where the only move you do is komaki parry, such a boring game!" because those people are idiots
If you take out the Block in Blockuza, it's probably the most solid game in the bunch. Self contained, good pacing, down to earth as far as this series goes with no crazy world flipping twists (maybe one, but it's not really important). The dated grid like movement with no momentum or running, and constant blocking will probably get to you though. I felt exhausted playing it, but in retrospect I see everything else was on point. Just make maxing out your fight skills to have a good variety of options your top priority and you'll probably enjoy it.
Eri isn’t real. She is just a figment of Ichiban’s imagination. No party character ever interacts with her and the whole buisness storyline is too wacky even for Yakuza standards.
I love Shinada just for his finale fight that plays out like that one breaking bad meme. Baba has no fricking clue what's going on while this insane bum starts ranting about cameras and how the game is played or whatever and how dare you not kill Haruka
>Best part of 4 >Best part of 5 >6 totally fricked up
Why did they shaft Akiyama so hard, he was the best thing about 4 and 5
and him helping out haruka in 5 made him and kiryu feel so much more close as friends, if he doesn't show up in 8 or gaiden I'll shit and cry. I feel like he'd be one of the best people to understand kiryu's name erasing situation and help him while keeping quiet about the whole thing.
>Y3R >cool it has a mod weapons system and repair >break weapons >repair weapons pls >one is 60k the other sword is 320K to repair it >??
What's the point when I can get small knives and murder everyone?
>the inane button mashing combat
this homie really thinks turn based combat is better
why dont you go navigate a dvd menu or whine about ff16 some more you fricking homosexual
>Y3R >really like how Kana looks >start romancing her >she just talks about her dog all day >massive confidence issues >also enjoy how Yui looks >start romancing her too >she is so empty and just an empty shell of a human
I think I should date in Okinawa next time, the girls seemed more interesting.
Ex-Hard and Legend both cause game overs. Only exception is 7 and Ishin Kiwami. I think Canon on FotNS doesn't give you a game over but I never tried it.
I want to say they changed it there as well but I wasn't 100% sure so I didn't include it. I just know 7 doesn't because of it being a DLC and I know Ishin Kiwami doesn't because I died on Ishin difficulty which is higher than Legend multiple times and it offered a retry.
>older cousin sold his ps4 before i knew about it and had a chance to buy it >dormmate promised he would bring his ps4 from home but never did
pc port when
>play Y1-3 back to back >thinking of taking a break before 4 to not burnout >maybe play some western games for variety and backlog
Should I take a break after 3? I still have a long way with 3. I am not even halfway after 12-15 hours.
NOO NOOOOOO NO NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Die 0gay
Started with 7.
Started with 3 on the PS3, 13 years ago. Calling me a 0gay doesn't make sense when the beat 'em up style didn't start with 0.
lovable moron protag was a good switch after stoic Kiryu for so long. I like them both, hope 8 turns out good.

Correct
Here's the definitive Yakuza series rankings. If you disagree you are simply wrong.
>But the PS2 games!!!!
Obsolete
>Muh PSP games! and Kenshin!
Not in america so they aren't real.
why is 5 low and 6 high?
5 has shit pacing for the first half and 6 has two of the best scenes in the whole series
Slower/slowburn pacing doesn't = shit. It just means you have a short attention span
Yakuza 3 is slowburn. Yakuza 5 is someone extinguishing the flame everytime it starts to heat up a little.
Nice cope gay, Saejima's chapter is the worst one in the game and people drop it right there because of how shit its pacing is and its literally the second fricking chapter
mountain hunting is kino
swap 5 and 3 and put 6 in B

BPs have translation patches, that's no excuse.

Komaki is a joke by comparison.
>kenzan s rank
holy based
I started playing it a few days ago and it’s so fricking good
what's your main issue with Dead Souls? I like it, it's just dumb fun I can turn my brain off to play and relax
Also, would you recommend actually trying to do the substories in Kenzan, or should I just use the guides to play the main story and then pray for a full translation patch someday?
why is 4 so low? I'd honestly have put it around there as well after my first playthrough, but replaying the whole franchise has helped me appreciate every single entry so much more, I love all of these games (except K2)
why didn't you at the very least finish the main story in Ishin?
>what's your main issue with Dead Souls?
You're alright moose
>putting 3 above anything
3 is unironically better than 4, even if I think Akiyama is more fun than any combat system in the series.
4 was great until you stopped playing as Akiyama.
>Y6
>A
Honestly a b game at best, maybe C if I really had to be harsh
Y0 > Y4 > K2 >>> Y5 > Y3 >>> K1
>putting 3 and 6 above 5
You can't be serious.
5 was terrible
Just got ishin only one I've not played, picked up the remastered collection second hand only 15 bongish money's, why do all the cex stores smell like piss? Seriously I've been in a few and they all reek of piss.
Ichiban is number one
Is Ichiban an Okinawan or mixed Samoan?
not the best hobo protag
percentage chance that he's a party member?

Nothing will surpass the feeling of Yakuza 5's opening for me. I really hope RGG releases all the unreleased songs for the 20th Anniversary of the franchise or something
I really liked 7. Any other rps in a modern real world setting? Preferably in a city setting with adults as opposed to like in a military battlefield or kids playing.
>t. tertiary zoomer
I love ichi
he's a good boy
I was worried they weren't going to make a good new protag but I love that goofball
I hated when they announced another kirby game. 6 was bad enough. Stop parading his corpse and let him retire.
>Frogposter
>Is moronic
yep
*another kiryu
For me, it's Yagami.
>muh sawa
2023 still no cracked for lost judgement, i brought it but the bundle is sooo expensive
I hate Nanba and looking at him annoys me
I want to strangle you.
Nanba deserves to suffer and I only wish he had been sacrificed to save his brother
If he's the best why he didn't sing Baka Mitai?
because he got his own song and it's fun.
I like how unique everyones yakuza rankings always are
(I'll play the kurohyous when the new translation releases)
Goddammit, every time I see that Lost Judgment cover this Todd pic comes to mind.
Lost Judgement's cover is so hilariously awful I actually cannot believe it got any kind of ok to be used.
damn
It always makes me think of goatse
I like 4 the most, but I agree. Feel like they could have given you at least one more chapter with each just before the finale.
After playing Kiwami 2 I can see why these games are turn-based going forward on this new engine. The combat is fricking dogshit and feels like some jank garry's mod crap
That's a weird picture of Majima, since we're talking about best Yakuza character Majima I think we need to discuss how great Majima is.
Haruka... What are you saying?
YAMEROOOOOOOOOOOOO
>leave her to me
Corrective rape would have fixed her. None of that pop idol and single motherhood bullshit after riding the Taiga.
It's just weird how nieche franchises keep getting the gayest most deranged fanbases.
>the fans don't go around being offended about jokes or make the characters homosexual
they got rid of a random troony NPC in the most recent rerelease of 5
Yeah for jornous sake. Actual players didn't care or notice it.
majima was made to be fujo bait for kiryu since the first game
you have to be fricking blind not to see that shit
also you sound like a 0gay who found out what a fanbase is 9 months ago and now mad you have an unwanted “image” that is out of your control if you discuss your interests on other parts of the internet
>majima was made to be fujo bait for kiryu since the first game
Now this is some revisionist history bullshit.
Mine's whole thing is being autistically in love with Daigo. The only reason he's even a villain is because Daigo got shot by the evil white terminator guy
what the frick did you do to that image?
It's from the PrintCircle book in 5. There is no higher resolution version of the photo.
I saved that one in particular, because it looks vaguely naughty.
Im almost done with kiwami 2
Is it worth playing 3? I heard people say you should skip it, its awful etc
pretty important parts of the story
If you skip any games in the series, you're a b***h. None of them are outright bad.
He's become my favourite character, i wish we get a game with majima as a sole protagonist
I can't believe he married a hot Korean milf. Truly living the dream.
>oh boy a new party member
>they do the same thing as the last guy
>Picks worst girl (Shitiko) and not best girl (Eri)
He sucks.
Eri isn’t real. She is just a figment of Ichiban’s imagination. No party character ever interacts with her and the whole buisness storyline is too wacky even for Yakuza standards.
*blocks your path*
>Best part of 4
>Best part of 5
>6 totally fricked up
>best part of 5
Ain't no way.
Fair enough, second best part of 5.
He's the worst part though
I love Shinada just for his finale fight that plays out like that one breaking bad meme. Baba has no fricking clue what's going on while this insane bum starts ranting about cameras and how the game is played or whatever and how dare you not kill Haruka
Akiyama’s VA is very expensive.
He's worth every penny
I doubt it considering he randomly comes back for new lines in Online.
He was shit in 5, dead souls did him better than yume babysitter with the worst set of boss fights out of any other part of any other game.
>Y3R
>cool it has a mod weapons system and repair
>break weapons
>repair weapons pls
>one is 60k the other sword is 320K to repair it
>??
What's the point when I can get small knives and murder everyone?
The small knives take the entire durability to do one health bar of damage. The expensive sword takes like one fourth of its durability.
>be 38yo
>get to play as 35+ yo men
Great game series, but everyone in the game thinks I am some kind of geriatric man.
Don't judge the kiddos too harshly, they don't know how hard it's gonna hit them in just a few more blinks of the eye.
yeah he is the best and Im glad he is getting another game. the inane button mashing combat was the worst part of yakuza
>the inane button mashing combat
this homie really thinks turn based combat is better
why dont you go navigate a dvd menu or whine about ff16 some more you fricking homosexual
>Y3R
>really like how Kana looks
>start romancing her
>she just talks about her dog all day
>massive confidence issues
>also enjoy how Yui looks
>start romancing her too
>she is so empty and just an empty shell of a human
I think I should date in Okinawa next time, the girls seemed more interesting.
In conclusion I will probably have sex with Kana and never call her again or invite her to Okinawa.
Yui in 3 is a legit terrible person.
I went out with Kana for karaoke. She was happy.
Thoughts?
Eh, it loses some charm and looks too repetitive
iirc it's not intended to be an actual alternative to turn based, rather just trying to make it into a brawler for the sake of it
>looks too repetitive
programming ai movesets is hard and annoying to do
You just described the turn-based gameplay in 7
>The turn based combat is objectively better than the simplified brawling in that video
Feel free to die mad about it.
>is faster
That alone makes it better
Seethe all you want, 7’s combat is as bad as dead souls
also he should have made extreme heat moveset a default one
Yes, his ass is the best.
thick boi
I think it’s really funny how overly sensitive the fanbase has gotten
If you talk shit about something they get so passive aggressive
That's not tatsuo shinada
just copy persona if you want a good and fluid turn combat based game, spamming your strongest attack everytime gets old fast
Code?
I hate zoomers so much
>Legend difficulty causes a game over on death
Is this the case for every game in the series or only a select few?
Ex-Hard and Legend both cause game overs. Only exception is 7 and Ishin Kiwami. I think Canon on FotNS doesn't give you a game over but I never tried it.
What about Lost Judgment? Game overs there, too?
I want to say they changed it there as well but I wasn't 100% sure so I didn't include it. I just know 7 doesn't because of it being a DLC and I know Ishin Kiwami doesn't because I died on Ishin difficulty which is higher than Legend multiple times and it offered a retry.
Dying on Legend in Ishin Kiwami doesn't give you a game over, but it doesn't refill your health upon retry.
>0gay
opinion discarded, kys.
>older cousin sold his ps4 before i knew about it and had a chance to buy it
>dormmate promised he would bring his ps4 from home but never did
pc port when
>play Y1-3 back to back
>thinking of taking a break before 4 to not burnout
>maybe play some western games for variety and backlog
Should I take a break after 3? I still have a long way with 3. I am not even halfway after 12-15 hours.
