To add to this, in general only 10-20% of a population thinks by themselves, the rest just follow orders or trends, that's how you get nazis and antifa. It's overexaggerated by some homosexuals but Tekken does have a problem in this regard. Female characters rarely emote leaving them looking empty and there's only like 3 or maybe 4 body types in the game nowadays.
As for faces, some are more similar than others. Reina and Asuka are almost identical.
The more pressing issue is Tekken 8's gameplay looks wack and that all the new characters' designs are terrible, and so are many of the redesigns too.

Primarily the problem lies in the new characters. Victor is terrible. Reina's design is overdone, she's literally just "Asian girl with purple stripes in her hair: again" of which there are dozens of notable examples. Azucena is fine-ish but her personality is grating and she looks out of place compared to all the tech shit some characters are wearing.
It's difficult to pick a favorite fightan but it's one of these

The only difference is that Reina's eyes are more angular, less rounded. They're identical at a glance. Tekken girls don't have 100% identical faces (except for a few chars in T7 like Lucky Chloe and Alisa) but they're basically the same.
I think what contributes to me feeling this way is how they rarely emote. There's no particular expression I associate with any female Tekken characters, and most male characters have pretty dull resting expressions as well.

I havent really been paying attention to fighting games, always was more of a MK guy way back in the day but if I had to pick up one now looking at the current games from the "big boys" I would choose Tekken in a heartbeat. The cast just looks lively and fun whereas some MK and SF characters look downright repulsive.
