You're not happy with the mold that society forces men into, so you're trying to force yourself into the mold society made up for women. Either way, you're rigidly conforming to something that can only make you miserable, because both of them are inherently at odds with your true self as an individual. Not only will you end up destroying your body by going down this path, but you're also harming everybody else who doesn't live up to society's outdated stereotypes. The depression you felt from falling short of societal notions of manhood will pale in comparison to the depression you feel when you fully realize that you'll never be a woman, and your attempt to reject your true sex just reinforces the stereotypes that made you miserable in the first place and pushes them onto people like me, making our lives that much harder and robbing us of what little social acceptance we currently have. The only way society will ever get better for feminine men and masculine women is if people learn to stand tall and contradict stereotypes directly. To prove to the world that men can be beautiful and elegant, that women can be hairy and strong, that there's no shame in being different and that the solution to damaged self esteem is never to mold ourselves to society's prejudices. What you're doing is the equivalent of attempting to sidestep the need for the civil rights by saying "this is too hard, it would be easier if I just identified as white to escape racism"
