I feel like this could've easily been solved by having Typhlosion been given some interesting body patterns. Nothing too crazy, just something to draw the eye even whilst the flames are out.

It really goes to show how bland the design is. The flame is the only point of interest this design has and Quilava/Cyndaquil still did that better.
