Is there an ingame guide for boss fights of FFXIV. Or do i need to watch 20min essays from youtube every time im first time tanking a boss? Im only lvl 68 at the moment and so far the bosses havnt been that hard to understand but im afraid thats going to change at endgame

Dungeons get easier because they start putting a "use your 30s cooldown now" marker on you for tankbusters.

Just say so when you join duty or pf. If anyone complains and malds about it report them. Learn as you play or at least read what others write about some mechanics.
Story bosses are easy enough a monkey can beat them on the first or second try.
For Extreme and savage (real endgame bosses), basically 24-48 hours after release everyone else will have read or watched a guide, and expect you to do the same. Unless you speficially play in that release window or have a group that is specifically going out of their way not to spoil the whole fight, you WILL have at least 1 gay in your group who has already memorized the whole timeline and is trying to tell everyone else exactly what to do
You will ALWAYS have:

No they are braindead easy they are only hard if you want to waste your life doing raids.
The normal game just get's less fun every expansion.
Normal content no way, just learn as you go and even if you frick up as something important such as Tank or Healer most of the time it won't even be a wipe even at endgame.
I dislike forced tank LB3 moments because the timing is strict and you can't expect a newcomer to know it but that's only in like three fights and there's still the other tank to do it for you.
Extremes you will find some people who want you to look at a guide, but it's more fun to go at your pace. Just be clear and say on your PF that you don't know and you just want to see what happens.

No*. If it's "casual" content (4 man dungeons, normal mode 8m, 24m, etc) the fights are designed so you learn them as you do them. Mechanics will be introduced one at a time and in non-lethal ways so you learn what to do with them individually, then they'll sequence mechanics together. The rule of thumb is if you got a vuln stack, you made a mistake, but tanks are punished less harshly like this by nature of being tankier than everyone else, so you have it on easy mode.
In harder content, it depends. If you don't do it within the first few days of release/don't specifically run with a group that agrees to learn "blind", then pugs tend to expect you know the fight up to wherever the team agrees on (eg a PF says working on phase 2, so you should know phases 1+2 if not the rest as well for your own convenience, you DF the latest Unreal and tick "Duty completion" so you better know the full fight, etc).
At your level don't worry about it and just have fun. And you can still do things blind at max level, just gotta go a little out of your way (ie take patch day off, find a blind savage/ult group) for it.

Yes, RP walk behind them and then use your item. You must also be at an adequate distance depending on size (closer for small, farther for large) in order to maximize your chances.

All of the story and normal mode content is designed so that the average twitch thot with 20 iq that would struggle to figure out how to do 2+2 can do it blind with little to no effort.
Not only that but they tried to make the game harder in Heavensward and ever since then have been going out of their way to make it easier and easier every expansion, so its going to get easier as time goes on not harder.
