Turn 1 ends after Rattata's Endeavor. Since Rattata is badly poisoned due to Toxic, it loses HP at the end of turn, which disables Sash. Then, even if Rattata uses Quick Attack, it only deals 1-3 damage, which is not enough to take out Eternatus even with 10 HP it would have after Endeavor (assuming level 1 Rattata with 0 IV/EV in HP).
You have no idea what you are talking about. He fought Eternatus before the dogs were even a thing. The battle left him wounded, that’s when he meets his horse and go the frozen village. It’s the second awakening of eternatus when he no longer participate, but is still strong enough to move a whole forest before the meteorite impact the earth
with enough setup, and assuming a scenario in which both tera and dmax/eternamax exist, its possible for a level 1 happiny to ohko a level 100 emax eternatus
Gen 1 Mewtwo >154 base SpDef >Equal Speed to Eternatus; can't be outsped because Gen 1 Pokémon get to max all their stats rather than just two >Has super-effective moves against Eternatus >Immune to Shadow Ball, the only thing Eternatus has that's super-effective against modern Mewtwo
Eternamax-Eternatus is literally immune to either special or physical. Gen 1 Mewtwo doesn't have a physical boosting option and if it did, it would cap out at 999 attack, so gen 1 Mewtwo cannot reasonably threaten an Eternatus that is immune to special
Eternatus can literally sit there frozen and tank any physical option gen 1 Mewtwo has with just Leftovers recovery until it kills itself with Struggle
that does work, would take like 13 turns to kill a (genwun) frozen eternatus and toss has enough PP
However, gen 1 Mewtwo only has sub to deal with toxic and it cannot reasonably kill Eternatus before dying to toxic so it has to
- correctly predict sub on toxic
- Eternabeam and Outrage (and Cross poison crit) can both break the sub but come with their own problems
- actually roll the gen 1 freeze
With Ice beam Mewtwo gets 8 tries to freeze, it has to run recover if it want's to go for more than like 3 shots and if it doesn't have sub and toss it automatically loses
so the odds are very much stacked against it but it could feasibly happen
even with the gen 1 crit mechanics, the crit route simply isn't statistically viable, a body slam does slightly less than Eternatus recovers so it needs to crit like 9 times with only 12 slams available and follow that up with a crit self destruct
>gen 1 >leftovers
Held items didnt exist back then.
ok cool show me which truck I should look under for an Eternamax Eternatus?
Still gets toxic stalled to oblivion >b-but amnesia setup
Can’t only 3HKO it after amnesia, and Eternatus can click cosmic power to help stall that out. If Mewtwo is at +6 special and Eternatus is at +3 spdef assuming they both try to setup to the max (Mewtwo’s only real chance to KO it) it’s only a 4HKO, and 6HKO if its Gen 1 speed crit activates. RNG is stacked against Gen 1 Mewtwo here. >but what if it clicks safeguard and-
Eternamax outspeeds by a point due to how Gen 1 DVs work compared to modern IVs. Base 130 with 31 IVs outspeeds base 130 with 15 DVs. There’s nothing to stop a toxic stall.
>blissey >leppa berry >soft boiled >recycle >heal bell >substitute
Stall deez nuts homosexual. We'll see who lasts longer. Hell, I could do the same thing with a Galarian Slowbro and not have to use heal bell.
Does any of you actually paid attention to the dialogues? calyrex never fought eternatus but he saw the big ass meteorite he used his future prediction power to see the BIG HAND and teleported the frick away with his own forest and the pokemon inside
>Rattata used Endeavor!
>Rattata used Quick Attack!
>Eternatus used Toxic!
>Eternatus used Recover!
I don’t think you understand how turns work
Not that anon but that would work. Toxic stops stash and quick attack would probably not be able to one shot it bc eternautus wouldn't be at 1HP
>Eternatus used Toxic!
>Rattata's badly poisoned!
>Rattata used Endeavor!
>Eternatus used Dynamax Cannon!
>Rattata fainted!
Rattata hang onto its focus sash. Thats how FEAR works
The sash is broken after turn 1 because of toxic.
you're moronic
after the first turn of poison your focus sash doesn't work you moron.

>Dynamaxed Pokémon
>affected by Endeavor
if you hack in eternamax to be playable it just counts as a normal form change
>Soak
>Toxic
canonically, Calyrex did it alone
canonically, I kill that thing with a single punch
Calyrex canonically jobbed so bad it ended up developing amnesia and ptsd
No. He bate it alone, and then he got anmesia and ptsd
>he won that's why he got amnesia and ptsd and the ones who actually beat Eternatus were the dogos

1 ugly rabbit
or 2 doggos
The ones that did?

gen 1 mewtwo just presses blizzard and eternatus can no longer act for the rest of the battle
Eternatus can literally sit there frozen and tank any physical option gen 1 Mewtwo has with just Leftovers recovery until it kills itself with Struggle

Depends on the moveset
