Literally one of the most interesting options due to the huge amount of unique flora and fauna it has as well as dramatic, varying landscapes. We already had one of most boring inspirations used up already in Galar anyway.

Why did they release Mienfoo before making a Chinese region? We'll never know.
A Chinese region is obviously out of the cards when considering new regions so Chinese-inspired pokemon can appear anywhere, like the panda in France and the literal legendary quartet with Chinese names in Spain

They switch it up, SV's hint was the Violet Book they added to Cogita's room in Legends, the hint to Galar was a map of the British Isles in LGPE. I'd wager we won't get our hint to Gen 10 until the last game of this Generation, whether it's this year and they take a gap year or next and they release two the next two Novembers though, I don't know yet.
