Albion is like OSRS with the heart and soul removed, but a lot of Brazilians added.
Enjoy exploring a world where permanent statues shouting things like 'XxXPonyBronyBUSSYLoversXxX were VICTORIOUS in the March 2022 CLAN BOOGALOO' dot the landscape.
I stopped playing the game once I found out that you need "Focus" on crafting and farming, and the only way to get more focus is waiting for the next day.
"Do whatever you want, be whatever you want"
My ass.
Its like if the devs played runescape but only remembered grinding resources from it
The game world is hollow and empty, theres no joy of exploration you'd get from old runescape because the whole map is just one big area for resource grind and PVP. Progression is grinding resources and upgrading your gear just so you can mine a different color of wood or metal and upgrade your gear to the next level so you can get wood, stone, fur or metal of another color
And remember how PVP was optional in runescape or restricted to the wasteland in the north? Here you may need to get resources from areas with enabled pvp. Have fun being ganked.
It's the only MMORPG without troony developers. Based german studio that doesn't bow to globohomo. They didn't even censor the skeleton faction for the East release.
osrs is dying this year, there will be a mass exodus to private servers. They're adding skills to frick up the game and their mods are banning people to have an e-relationship with a 5/10
It's a game made for guild territorial warfare with full loot pvp. Economy, resorurce and gear tiers and skill grinding are designed around that. Like EVE Online but in medieval fantasy setting. It's a niche genre so the appeal is not massive.
If you're into that, it's a nice game.
>full-loot pvp trash
no. unless you want to be killed over and over by max level players from the moment you start the game. have fun being prey for tryhards who have played 24/7 since release, that's the only thing to do for new players in gankboxes like this.
This is false, there are safe and semi-safe areas for lower tiers where you start. Playing this game if you don't belong to a guild is a miserable experience though.
I gave it an honest go in an attempt to find a new game for my friends who only play League of Legends, MMOs, and CSGO. It is utterly soulless, aesthetically and mechanically. All the NPCs, environments, weapons, and armor are aggressively generic, and the environments are essentially procedurally generated. I don't even know if there's an OST, I literally couldn't tell you. Within a few hours of playing, I realized that there is no reason to explore other than to find optimal resource node locations and procedurally generated dungeons that randomly manifest in the world. I'm focusing on this because this is the thing that filtered me.
The gameplay is actually good, at least the combat gameplay. The gathering is not, and by extension, neither is the trading. But the awareness of how soulless Albion is weighed on me every moment I was playing, and completely dispelled the illusion that it was worth investing any time in - even as someone who LOVED shit like WoW open world PVP and invading in Dark Souls.
If you're a poor Brazilian 13 year-old, I imagine this is your GOTY and you'll spend years on it. If you've ever tasted a decent MMO in your life, you'll probably be unable to actually enjoy the experience of playing it.
It'll never be a good game without more PvE. This game is literally just >Stockpile materials to make cheap armor sets >Go out and PvP in fields for 'territory' >Put on the same cheap crafted armor if you die
Its basically Runescape if the wilderness was all that existed.
I was told it has feral chat jannies so I'll never play it.
I played it for a week.
The short answer is no, Albion sucks ass.

Bloat the player count by multi clienting for focus and so on
Boy I am really getting tired of hispanics on this website, they are not integrating well
spics are the future of the world
you'd best prepare yourself
We're all dogfood you divided dipshit.
In some ways yes, in other ways no. Sometimes I feel like one over the other

I play this game and it's ok
It also has a fair amount of coomshit in it
Coomshit? What? I never noticed any.
Here's your world boss
I will now buy your game.
Reminder: the in-game mobs look the same as the artwork, and have actual jiggle physics.
And yes, the giant ladies you fight also have butt physics.

No, it's different. Never ever craft and the game is okay. If you're a gatherer/crafter you're a dumb Black person.
It's great game for autists who like to grind progress bars.
why do latinx love this game so much?
>latinx
It's free, and the premium tier can be bought with grinding. Also simple graphics that make it run on toasters and phones.
if you want to be a bandit that fricks with grinders and chinese people absolutely

Kinda like it, this game shines if you're part of a guild that is doing something if you play this solo then I think you won't have as much fun.
I played for awhile, was part of the great ape escape that was ARCHganistan.
ARCH being the degenerates they are actively sided with the Brazilians and Russians to use them as zerg bait.
We spammed monkey soup and the Brazilians would flood a zone.
Dunno what it's like now but I miss ARCH, one of the few large toxic and racist communities out there.
Now I just play CS to get my cathartic toxicity.
I miss RedTree and invading solo dungeons with my fake arch alliance. Is their home still in Arthur's Rest?
