How can people play these games, these KINDS of games (FIFA, Madden included) where you have to grind and lootbox your way to relevance, only for their efforts to be undone after 12 months? It's Sisyphian (like the TikTok meme, kids).
I don't know, last CoD I fully enjoyed was Black Ops. Its been downhill from there and everything is the same. Most of the time its streamers and children keeping this shit alive. PSgays keep this shit alive too
>last CoD I fully enjoyed was X. Its been downhill from there and everything is the same. Most of the time its streamers and children keeping this shit alive
I heard so many variations of this same statement. So there will be zoomers here saying the same about Black Ops 3 and Infinite Warfare
Weapons attachments and skins that you unlock in the first month of playing the game. Out of all the things that Call of Duty does wrong, I'm not sure this is the main thing you want to nitpick.
Call of Duty's greatest sin is that it's propaganda by the US military to the point of being insulting, like blaming American war crimes on Russians. The fact that live service games demand huge time and money investments, only to wipe your progress after 12 months, is just the icing on top.

They don't "demand" huge time investments at all. Everything relevant to gameplay you unlock incredibly fast. The only thing more zoomer than grinding to unlock some cringe gold camo is being mad that your little dress up doll doesn't carry over to the next game.

>Everything relevant to gameplay you unlock incredibly fast
not the case in MW2 where you need to grind shitty weapons to unlock the good stuff for your main weapons

That is not a huge time investment.

what exactly is your definition of "huge time investment"? you don't unlock attachments "extremely fast" like you claim, leveling individual weapons takes a while especially if you aren't as good as all the 10-year CoD veterans in pubs and the weapon you have to grind sucks
>There's already a MW3
Mondern Warefare is rebooted or whatever (didn't bother to play it). Set in a different timeline, so MWIII will come out and its suppose to be releasing this year or next. Monster already leaked it kek
it's absolutely overrun by cheaters and bug exploiters and they never fix ANYTHING or make any attempt to ban cheaters. they just add more dumb shit for you to buy. they also have a horrendous match rigging AI that makes sure you can never have more fun than someone else. Matchmaking takes forever because it very carefully puts you on teams that it has predicted will win or lose to keep everyone at a 50/50 W/L ratio. It also makes tweaks mid game to your ping, bullet damage, accuracy, and other things to make sure that if you're doing too good you'll get nerfed and if you're doing too badly you'll get buffed. you'll already be struggling to play on the 80+ ping server it puts you on as it is, because ping is literally the lowest consideration on their matchmaking algorithm. If you're a good paypiggy they'll keep giving you easy lobbies though

While the matchmaker is very heavy handed, in what world is it slow? 30s or less to get a multiplayer game everytime. Compared to something like Siege/RB6/Valo where 5-10min queues aren't uncommon.
it's more like 60s and I shouldn't have to wait a minute to get put into a fricking 90 ping lobby in a game with millions of Black folk playing it. Battlebit puts me in a 20 ping server in 5 seconds flat
I do agree that Battlebit is a blessing for casual FPS games, I just don't think CoD is as egregious as most popular FPS games these days who are so obsessed with ranked gameplay. I'm pretty sure CoD is the only "arcade" style FPS game where you can just hop on and play that actually has a big playerbase.

Anyone that says BO2 is the best is clearly a zoomer, lots of kids were on black ops 2
You seem to have a fundamental misunderstanding of what you unlock in Call of Duty.
Weapons, attachments and skins, all of which disappear once you purchase the next one. It seems futile.

Yes. Play MW19 instead. It's the only good CoD game to ever exist.
