It supposedly runs pretty good. I don't think you're missing much if you skip out on the deluxe edition. It's just a fancy paint job if I remember right.
Runs locked 800p/high/30FPS for me on OG Deck. IIRC maybe some stutter somewhere towards the end of NG++? But really very stable. Probably could do 40 just fine but I wanted to prioritize battery life.
Great game. I wouldn’t splurge for the deluxe edition. You have everything you actually want in the base game. Absolutely worth playing. I never buy games at full price and I still think I got my 60 bucks worth out of AC VI.
After the first mission's boss, the difficulty does really drop off, especially when you find your groove, but damn if some of the later bosses didn't wreck me. I had to completely rethink my playstyle for that later boss the C Series weapon with the second phase
The game does have difficulty spikes, like that mission in NG++ where you get jumped outside the coral reactor by all the stealth sniper bots. Also, that mission with all the skeleton wheel motherfrickers.
Pic related is how you speedrun Underground Depths, by the way. Just take a shield and freefall all the way down.
Completely different type of games they're not trying to convey the same thing.
The mecha fantasy, at lest armored core's one, is being a one man army.
Armored Core =/= elden souls fotm whatever >inb4 fromsoft is 'souls company'
AC came first. in fact, AC influenced the development of the souls series. if anything the inverse happened, and rightly so.
>a game where all enemies are deadly.
Are you moronic? This is a mecha game, and part of the genre is power fantasy, meaning you crush things with your mech. Not to say that regular enemies can't or won't kill you, they sure can, especially the stealthy frickers ALLMIND deploys, but this is an entirely different game with a different aesthetic, so I find it really misguided to see you saying "IT NEEDED TO BE MORE LIKE ER!". No, it didn't, end of discussion!
Is NG+ worth it?
NG+ and NG++ give you more story bits, different missions and you get to look behind the scenes and discover what was actually happening. IF you only do NG, you're not gonna know shit.
hardly... everything is so impossibly huge in armored core world that it makes it feel like ur robot is small. u never get the chance to stomp a normal size skyscraper
I played about 2 hours so far, I'm a bit surprised how short the levels are
It's more like Metal Gear Rising than Dark Souls
Pretty damn fun though, I already found out you should just be spamming all weapons at all times
>let's build an entire working, fully functional tank AROUND a bipedal robot that doesn't need to be there in the slightest
Unironically the frick did they mean by this?
They're piggybacking off the MT's interface unit for control or something, IIRC. The unit is exposed for game mechanics reasons but that's the excuse for its inclusion.
You can see the Cataphract's legs in both trailers I'm pretty sure.
>the strongest kick in the game
Are you sure you know what you're talking about? Base kick strength is entirely dependant on mech weight. It gets a 400% damage boost when you use it on stunned enemies, too.
That picture doesn't even look like a tank. It look slike an assembly line. The MT body in the tank isn't visible in the trailers where it's in motion. See
I don't have it but I'm sure you can find it somewhere, even if you just have to watch her stream where she picked out the colors
You're moronic as frick. That being said you can barely see that it's an MT attached to a big fricking tank in the trailer just that the MT is where it's controlled from and a weak point.
I'd make an argument the Cataphract could technically be some kind of platform that you squeeze one of those weird PCA not-AC mechs into, and if the Cataphract takes too much damage, you can disconnect from it, retreat, and get another Cataphract on top of a valued pilot without sacrificing the pilot inside or going full-moron with a defenseless escape pod that'll be tracked and immediately shot down. However since that doesn't happen, I'm in agreement that it's a bizarre choice, and only PCA drones would defend it.
Very different. If you like realistic mech game . Play ac.
>It's constant flying around at 300km/h and shooting energy balls, swinging laser swords and shit.
There's a lot of mecha like that. Gundam basically became this even in UC as the tech advanced.
I haven't played either of those so I can't compare
[...] >realistic >mech
come on now
It didn't, part of real robot genre is to have grunt Mechs that are like the Mig-21 to your F-22
you get a soundtrack, digital artbook and an extra AC Data made of parts you can get normally
it's fine
the AC itself is okay, nothing amazing, but it has sick custom detailing
Well, whatever it is, I'm tired of finding fault with different definitions. "Anime-Mech-Realism" compared to Gundam games, I have to say that AC is more realistic. And that is the answer I posted.
Surprised that this topic is still alive.. The release date for the elden ring DLC is also interesting: JUNE 21 = 621, or more precisely 2024-6-21 C4-621. Or this is a hint that they are developing DLC for AC6 as well.
I’d say it’s just Mech Action. Simulator or realism gets funky when it comes to mechs. Or rather you get certain spergs that think anything isn’t just a glorified shitty tank in terms of movement automatically means it doesn’t feel like a robot. I even heard that shit with Heavy Gear 2 which I thought would have been a pretty easy thing to call a simulator, but frick me I guess. It’s shows how silly the idea simulator really comes down to on a fictional idea when most mecha media do not function like Mechwarrior. Which all I care about if I feel like to some degree it’s an actual robot and 10 seconds of playing the game should tell you that. 10 seconds with playing no booster with tank legs if you’re really bad at picking that idea up.
>emulate the previous ones
Only note on that is that the prior AC games play VERY differently than AC6, especially the early ones from PS1 days. Having loved Master of Arena and AC2, starting AC6 and hearing all the stuff in game about human augmentation for piloting ACs it really did feel like it was a new era of AC
I never got over how zoomed out the camera is. You can barely even make out anything but the bosses, especially if you shoot at range
Can't even tell if I'm obliterating a tiny walker or a tank or a flying orb
It's truly fun. there was a thread the other day asking about the last time you truly had fun playing a game, and for me it was AC6. Removing all story elements, there's a mission where you have unlimited energy and have no need to manage usage so you can go ham. Flying around downing ships one after another was an absolute blast
>Is this game worth buying on sale as my first armored core?
Yes. It's literally designed to lure more people into the franchise. It still challenging like any FromSoft game >Should I get the deluxe edition?
WHy would you spend more money? Just get the standard
Sheer raw kino game, I wish people could separate it from dark souls because it has almost nothing in common with it, it's more akin to an Ace Combat or an MGRR than anything else.
It's pretty much required to get the full picture. Kinda like Nier automata, where getting the first ending means you're actually a third through the game
if you want to unlock everything, NG++ is mandatory, and that's assuming you don't miss out on any missions throughout the entire 3 runs (of which you're forced into ALLDONMAI route and its missions for NG++ run anyway).
Loghunt will be really annoying if you can't replay that one mission that you ignored(if you did so for three entire runs) and have to start a new loop and progress the camapign to that point.
>why?
It's not a GAAS dripfed gacha game. Just like Pizza Tower, it had its discussion and then people moved on. Kinda prefer it this way, otherwise you end up with Homestuck levels of schizos and autism.
Ganker still has daily threads about Elden Ring though
in NG++, you blow up his AC the first time you meet him, defeat his attempts to kill you multiple more times, kill everyone he sends after you and ultimately make him look like a moron in front of his whole company.
You blow up a lot of ACs and most seem to take it well. Meanwhile Iguazu instantly seethes and chases you to the ends of the earth. Is it some sort of anime trope where a character becomes obsessed with the protagonist?
The first time you meet G5, you shoot him in the back and humiliate him. It's like when you play some MMO and a gay kills you, so you want some payback. That event and his repeated failures to get payback ultimately drive him insane for the whole game.
Iguazu has a massive ego and hates it when anyone gets one over on him, so naturally he keeps trying to get even with you through the course of the game and slowly comes more unhinged with envy as you keep bodying him.
He wants to be the best but the whole point of his character is that even when he's willing to pull out all the stops he just doesnt have what it takes.
>He wants to be the best but the whole point of his character is that even when he's willing to pull out all the stops he just doesnt have what it takes
This, it’s partially why I like how in JP he acknowledges 621’s skill in their last fight. It’s as if he’s content to have lost so long as it was when both of them going all out and even in defeat he can finally respect him as the better man
for a shitty life at least he died satisfied
I don't like the dumb iguana but he had a hard life that rapidly disintegrated after 621 arrived, direct assblasting from 621 included
The moment in NG++ where he gets Allmind to shut the hell up was great. Generally loved that whole fight but that moment specifically was probably the high point of gaming in 2023 for me.
in NG++, you blow up his AC the first time you meet him, defeat his attempts to kill you multiple more times, kill everyone he sends after you and ultimately make him look like a moron in front of his whole company.
It's a single player game without much grinding or mega hard challenges to do.
Also, around December, every ac thread got flooded with contrarians and borderline schizos, killing off the little discussion left.
It's good and it's fun but most of the non boss missions are a bit stale, also there's no expansion and no mission creation kit, It's good but it could have been better. It worth getting on sale, yes.
>as my first armored core?
sure but, some people were disappointed to learn it's not a purely arcade action type game with customization. Enemy difficulty and appropriate loadout has a puzzley intended problem solving design through tinkering. Plays much better that way then trying to tank faceroll whatever you think looks cool or w/e
It's the complete opposite of what you say. The game becomes solved once you find the optimal build, which was sneedles and zimms before the nerf. You only really need to change from this in that one N++ mission that spams the skeleton wheels at you.
>bro once you've mastered the game and know the most OP combinations it's a solved game
yes I'm sure mr god gamer but for all you know OP is in the 90% percentile that got filtered and quit after a few hours
nta , I think I got filtered by every major boss in this game plus a couple of arena fights
I was completely new to AC with 6 and the first boss killed me 3 times until I got the hang of it and then it was pretty smooth sailing from then on. After 5 hours any normal gamer should have the fundamentals down.
When I die then it's because I'm trying a new loadout.
Pic related is my standard loadout and I used all my OS chips for kinetic DMG enhancements so far and I basically just hold down all shoulder buttons while I fully focus on dodging and so far I first tried most bosses and all Arena fights with that.
I think it's one of those games where winning with style is hard but just hanging back and slinging projectiles is very safe.
balteus was my first hurdle because i was using two ransetsu and the initial missile launchers you start with
I think I fought it for two days straight ? around 4 hours each day ?
Damn I was afraid that that's some late game boss I haven't met yet and googled but I already beat him. He wasn't easy but I think 2nd or third try I beat him.
IDK maybe I'm just naturally good at AC, never played those games before. Or Souls games honed my instincts.
But something diffrent:
FRICK I just played a mission where I thought I get a choice at the end but the mission itself was the choice? Now I'm mad...

that was when ayre suggested that carla needs to die
everything else is irrelevant to both main endings
the last one is a little bit complicated to get and I recommend a mission guide if you don't want to mess up and jump to NG+3 like I did

do NG cycles get harder like in souls games?

Not really. You get new missions and most are harder than NG missions but enemies don't get more HP and damage or anything.
Is this really mecha? It's constant flying around at 300km/h and shooting energy balls, swinging laser swords and shit. You're basically a demigod that engages in DBZ fights with guns. Not really what a mech would do IRL.
Just google "mecha" and read some definitions. It's not that tight of a genre. If it's a giant piloted robot, it's probably more mecha than not. Realism really isn't a concern for that genre.
>It's constant flying around at 300km/h and shooting energy balls, swinging laser swords and shit.
There's a lot of mecha like that. Gundam basically became this even in UC as the tech advanced.
it gets even better later
make sure to go into NG+ and NG++
some missions get alternative versions and you unlock new mission
there is also a secret ending tied to NG++
You use RJs for dodge distance, not speed. Those hops are almost double the length of the Nachts. Dodge distance is incredibly useful for dodging large AOE bullshit, especially against bosses.
Hardly double. You can see that mind beta is 4 pylons while nacht is 3 pylons. But that's not important. You are completely locked into the mind beta hop and can't do ANYTHING until your feet hit the ground. With nacht, you are able to skip all over the place, evading everything. I like the spring chicken legs the best though.
yeah I was just checking it's a ~220m vs ~ 320m situation , I would rather spam QB twice instead
I only use Mind beta if I want double song birds + pile bunker build
Spring Chickens are my boys and I never understood the constant claims Mind Betas are better.
>Best physical and explosive defense of the RJs >Highest load limit, means you can mitigate their low stability with heavier torso/head parts and get yourself around the 1800 sweet spot easy >The heavier load limit only amplifies what is without a doubt the strongest kick in the game
Seriously, Spring Chickens kick like a fricking truck, nothing else comes close. We're talking damage, at its load limit, on par with getting hit by a bazooka.
>the strongest kick in the game
Are you sure you know what you're talking about? Base kick strength is entirely dependant on mech weight. It gets a 400% damage boost when you use it on stunned enemies, too.
Nope, kick strength isn't just determined by weight, it's determined by leg type. RJs have the strongest multiplier and the best homing, they hit 20% harder and can comically turn on a dime in some instances which makes kicking a really powerful tool for you, especially online where latency is involved.
It's a fantastic game, loved every second of it. I got 220+ hours out of it just customizing my AC, doing up to NG+5, making decals, managing paints etc. Understand it's a singleplayer experience first and foremost and the multiplayer is a complete afterthought, it's a cute gesture at best.
Now that Shadows of the Erdtree is finally on the brink of release, I'm hoping Armored Core 6 gets a big expansion just like every other AC game. New story, tons of new parts, new Arena opponents etc. Very real possibility since Bamco said they want to continue supporting AC after the massive success of 6.
Cool, they added shoulder gats. Also what are you talking about regarding ammo? They must have nerfed gats because I remember dual gats having a frickload of ammo that would easily last for a whole mission.
>New Schneider quad AC, whole thing, head, arms, core and legs >Handheld pulse missiles >RaD large machine guns (kinda meh) >Shoulder mounted burst gatling guns >Shoulder big energy laser that's like a tier below the triple barrel laser but stronger than the standard shoulder laser
It's not really burst like the rifles. It overheats and cools really quickly so you get on-off periods of fire instead of just holding down the trigger forever like on the arm guns.
you can feather the trigger and keep shooting it, it's just got a really fast overheat
but if you're using 4 miniguns honestly I just held the triggers down the whole time (when in range and on target) and focused on moving, bosses just melted so fast
if you try and use them for some of the long missions I def ran out of ammo once or twice but still was fine to make it to a resupply
I hate it. But also love it. Quad minigun. Its pure cheese but it works too well.
Died to the Ibis prostitute like 5 times with a normal build. Took me like 2 min to take her down with this.
I had to force myself to stop using this as its way too easy. Only negative is 150k COAM ammo cost.
It'll be years before it's viable to have a desktop in my living arrangements while money isn't much of an issue. So the question is if it's that much of a difference from slim ps4 vs ps5
>>AC3 doesn't have an omnipotent AI, just some guy named the Controller that we never see
The Controller is an omnipotent AI though. The difference between 1 and 3 is that the Controller is a benevolent AI that is seemingly malfunctioning.
Currently running Gold Lightning.
Dual machine pistols and a lightweight build, short range aiming module for constant pressure. And as soon as I break stance I let go of the laser cannon as a finisher. At least in arena it's serving me well, going to try him out in some missions now.

>worth buying on sale
Yes. >get the deluxe edition
No. Anyways, I also bought it this recent sale and have been having a lot of fun. The garage autism is right up my ally, love spending most of my time there making builds. However... THE ""MUSIC"" IS FRICKING DOGSHIT, WHAT WERE THEY THINKINK? BRING BACK ACTUAL FRICKING GARAGE MUSIC
That's so fricking trash sounding. Modern ""ambient"" tracks are the worst thing to ever happen to video game music. Like that's just some white noise on in the background. Now AC1, yep that was a kino garage theme.
I would say that Nexus and Last Raven are actually playable by modern standards as well but they are definitely clunky. My personal recommended order that I use for introducing people starts with either 2 or SL depending on how much wiener and ball torture they can endure, then goes to Nexus. People who are highly tolerant to ancient controls can definitely start on 1 though, as a game it still holds up if you can get past how difficult it is to pilot your AC.
Got my last ending like 2 days ago and thought about doing all achievements but doing all missions with S ranking seems like such a painful grind. What I don't understand is why are we getting ranked only through the REPLAY MISSION button and not when playing them normally doing the NG+ and up campaign, real dick move fromsoft
the BAWS Factory line one with ghosts right? that one's infamous for it's time limit, yea. really notorious one, to the point people researched the conditions for S ranking it.
for anyone else having difficulties with it, iirc it's something like under 4:30 for clear, and failing that, 150,000 COAM profits for S ranking it. forgot whether if you still need speed for the COAM requirement, but it was over that when I got S rank.
took me like 4 days but you can do it even with Loader 4 with dual pistols and piledriver, just focus on blitzing through it, while not forgetting to take out the hidden melee ghost between the 1st and 2nd encounter (the one sitting next to the Message Log you can pick up)
Earshot can help, but it's not necessary if you can just blitz through the enemy and just immediately stagger then kill them before the ghosts teleport away. just focus on going fast and dodging.
The infiltration mission was also a pain but I meant the one where you encounter the Ekrodormoi or whatever they're called. The one with the fuel tanks as bonus objectives. I think the big limiter on me for that mission was time, and I eventually just got it my nailing a better route down as I learned the stage better.
so, what criteria are there for S ranking a mission? clear time, repair and ammo cost?
Time is the most important one, but also money spent on expenses. I had a very clean run on Balteus once but still managed to cheat myself down to an A rank because I accidentally spent like 200k on ammo.
dont know what video you watched, why are there voices while im playing?
there should be nothing but environment and sound effects, i shouldn’t be hearing radio comms or that an enemy is approaching.
you can keep your moviegame marvelslop

AC6 isn't anime slop, so none of those criticisms apply.
Someone is working on a seamless coop mod and trying for an opt in opt out invasion system with it too. I just find it funny the one idea that would actually feel right at home in Armored Core, debatably even more so than souls games on a contextual level, didn’t make it in. Not even for NG+ or anything.
I really don't know how to make an effective build. I wanna make a build that isn't spamming stuff and instead uses the more slow paced weapons you have to charge or focus like the rifles, laser rifles and bazookas, but I really don't know how to play with those more careful "take your time" weapons. Can someone help me please? I also wanna eventually do an aggressive melee based build but I really don't know how to incorporate melee. I feel like enemies move away from me so quick in general most of the time.
The only builds I've made that work well are reverse-joint missile spam with different shoulder missile launchers and the handheld missile guns you get paired, or the full auto handfuns paired with the first shotguns you get and then cycle. I tried making a dual flamethrower build but I got no idea what shoulders to pair it with.
About the slow weapons: I think with the focus on stance breaking in this game I only use them when I just stance broke an enemy and use rockets and some other gun to achieve that.
About melee: Go to the boosters in the shop or your inventory and have a look at the more detailed statistics. There should be something called melee boost or something and it greatly improves your dash speed and range.
There's one balam booster I think that has insanely high melee boost range and damage bonus.
so you basically never use a charged up plasma rifle? Well, since weapons like that are your primaries, what do you use for damage? surely you don't spam shoulder missiles? and by rockets, do you mean like the bazookas and rocket launchers? I have no idea how to hit those. I find that enemies move too fast. honestly, I'm just not sure how to land hits unless I'm using particularly close ranged weapons like the little uzis paired together or the shotguns. I like the flamethrowers but idk what to pair them with. the slow tracking missiles seem good.
Shoulder missiles and something continously firing (even the base AR does well) for racking up stance damage and then letting go of your charged weapon(s) for massive damage.
Rockets/bazookas are best fired from above because the splash is more likely to hit.
This here

is my current main loadout and I just keep the shoulder charged until I break stance. The other 3 weapons are more or less just spammed on full auto.
AC6 revolves primarily around the Attitude Control System, ACS/Stagger for short. That is the yellow/red bar that grows on top of an enemy's health bar and above your energy gauge. Once the ACS is overloaded (an enemy is staggered), weapons do increased damage. So to do the best damage in this game, you need weapons that set up stagger, and weapons to deal damage during stagger. Some weapons are good at both.
Here is an example of a decent build using early-game parts. The Pulse Blade opens up and closes distance on top of being an S rank melee weapon that does massive damage against shielded enemies, the Pistol is used to put more pressure on a target, and the shoulder Laser Cannons blast a target that's staggered. You can lightly fire the laser cannons to help, but timing it to allow you to have them help buildup and be there fully charged for the payoff is tricky. You can also use kicks to help build up stagger on all builds, once you unlock it with OS Chips.

Here's the build. >Coquillet (Pistol) >Bu-tt/a (Pulse Blade) >Laser Cannon Shoulder x2
Upgrade these with more powerful parts later on. You'll know them when you see them. >BASHO Head >TianQiang everything else
Building stagger with our choice of weapons demands close quarters engagements, and a surplus of energy will help melee cancel over to enemies and still have some to spare. It's also nice to have lots of defenses as someone prone new to the game, so we're going with a heavy build. The only really heavy frame parts of the early game without resorting to tetras or tank legs are Basho and Tiang Qiang. Basho is a very close quarters/melee oriented frame, but with only one melee weapon and the importance of lock-on for our energy heavy ranged weapons, it is not the choice Core or Arm parts. Basho legs are medium weight as well. This leaves us with Tian Qiang.
>Kikaku >Talbot >VP-20C
Kikaku adds Commando Pro to your Pulse Sword attacks, lunging up to 150 meters to land their strikes. On this build it's easily the fastest you move and definitely punches up there at one of the fastest movement speeds in the game at 700+. Abbot is a strong FCS with the best tracking for close range weapons in the early game. VP-20C has the highest energy weapon modifier of the opening acts and is a powerful gen besides.
>Pulse Armor
Really expansions are up to preference but for this build I'd say you don't need the stagger buildup of Assault Armor (though you might consider it against annoying enemies with pulse shields), and the value of Pulse Armor gives in stopping you from getting staggered is immense in the early game.

since stagger is so important, as my double flamethrowers bad? I really like using them, but I guess I could use one and maybe a melee and the slow moving shoulder mounted missiles for pressure?
I tried making a SWAT themed build with the shotgun, the therapist taser gun, the baton and a pistol, but it didn't work super well. Do you think this is a viable, cool build?
I also really like the flamethrowers. I'd for sure make a whole build around them.
Am I just missing something with the quad and tank legs? They just feel so sluggish to me. By far the light and agile movement of the reverse joint legs is the best. I find it so hard to consistently track and shit enemies so missiles and Full auto weapons are easy to use whereas the slow charging laser and plasma stuff is just too hard for me to use.
There are a few weapons that do a lot of sidestepping past the stagger system. Dual Flamethrowers is one of them, but they do play into the system a little bit because the status effects makes enemies more vulnerable to impact damage. In a similar vein, consider the Pulse Guns. They do next to no impact damage, but if you have a health bar they'll melt it. They are so devastating without doing any impact damage, my most successful PVP build is dual Pulse Guns and Dual Kranich Pulse Cannons on a speedy AC for a hit and run setup. >Melee, Flamethrowers, Missiles
You're a man after my own heart, that was my first playthrough right there. I'd say go for it.
not sure if it's even any good, but this is what I'm rocking. I think that that stinger thing you get for fighting the ice worm might work better than the chainsaw, though.
Okay, first and foremost, turn off HDR in your game settings. It fricks with the contrast and makes it very gray. No clue why they haven't fixed it yet.
Besides that, Double Trouble is a very based but difficult weapon to use. I'd recommend a more reliable big dick weapon like the Ashmead for a new player. I hate to say "do what I did" but I have a lot of reasons for what I did. The flamethrowers on their own don't really benefit from their own status effects as much as other weapons do, so I only brought one. Melee weapons are powerful and benefit greatly from that fire status effect, so I kept a melee in my hand, and I had a backup Pilebunker, since the Butta and the Ashmead make a deadly combo against boss enemies. The Stun Needle is a fantastic weapon and I used that in place of missiles until I got the RAD Missile Launcher. Try things out in the AC Test (Press RB from that screen there) and see how fast you can bring a dummy AC from 100-0.
Improve my NG+4 build, Ganker. Keep the pistols, tho, I like 'em.
This is faster, more AP, infinitely better close range and melee combat potential, better melee lunge thrust and economy, greater melee damage for about the same Firearm Specialization, and has more constant and readily available impact damage at your disposal. I initially swapped it for a Coral Generator but after actually seeing what Yaba does to the speed, I'll keep it.

I did wonder why my game looked like that lol, thanks.
I really like the idea of double flamethrower, but I'll try something else on the other hand. I'll go for the double melee combo for when someone comes near. Thank you anon for your advice.
What do you think of that concept build with the stun baton and therapist taser combined with a shotgun and handgun? It has the status build up, melee capitalization, range and sustained fire from the handgun.

All flame is useful, just tricky to use. Big caveats like only powerful in the way other build are powerful against grounded targets by hotswapping flamethrowers and Napalm launchers. >Stun baton and therapist
You're in luck, Therapist and Stun Baton got buffed hard recently, and shotguns and handguns are perfectly viable weapons. You're now cooking with gas. There's a stun pistol you can find; it plagued PvP for quite some time because of its fast fire rate, good damage, and rapid reload rate.

Yeah, against the raven boss fight I really struggled with double flame because he was so mobile in the air. I guess it'd be good to combo hitting an enemy with the napalm while dodging to further slow them down, but they don't really work well for areal targets either, so
I'm gonna try to go for that police build! I just think it's a cool concept and it'll all meld well together. Do you have any advice for the body, like focus on going light to stick to the enemy, or maybe heavy to tank the damage? Maybe I should take a shield instead of something else, like a riot shield?
I would play it against u anon : D

you're right that pvp is shit, but not in the way you think
1v1 in ac6 is like playing a magic the gathering tournament with no sideboard; builds can hard counter others and the swinginess of stagger doesn't help
3v3 is actually the better pvp experience where you just have to treat it as an fps game with specialized roles, but no one plays that game because ofc north america has no concept of being good at team games
3 months ago

1v1 is too sweaty and unbalanced, and 3v3 is casual blast'em fun. People who play AC6 for the pvp and try to be "good" at it are genuinely moronic, they'd be better off playing a game actually made for pvp. What the game needs isn't what fromsoft is adding to it (ranked, 1v1 patches), but instead more creative modes that don't revolve solely around AC vs AC combat.
Fromsoft can't make good pvp though so it probably won't happen.

It's just strange that there's no 2v2 option since it's the way that's most fun to play.

Contrary to your idiotic belief, the vast majority of people play games to have fun, not to compete with other losers on the internet in a contest with zero stakes or meaningful prestige. Games don't have a shelf life, once again you're just proving that you don't actually like vidya, you just want to pubstomp for free dopamine. I'd bet money that you wouldn't have even touched the story mode of AC6 if it wasn't required to unlock parts.
Go join a gym or take up a sport. I do boxing. It's very satisfying, and every since I started punching people in the face in real life I haven't given a single frick about pvp in video games.

Ratting started as a DOTA thing, IIRC. It basically boils down to one guy popping up to frick around in your base every time you push out onto the map, forcing you to commit to a fight against his team and risk him wrecking your base or sending someone back to deal with him (except he's just going to teleport away and do the same thing over again 5min later).
Basically they refuse to take a stand-up fight and just sandpaper you down until something gives.

The stagger's bad but what killed it for me is the unbreakable lock-on combined with effectively zero turn speed
That double whammy completely killed any depth to the PvP since out-manoeuvring each other isn't even a factor, you'll be instantly spinning around to face each other the entire match

Colours are a little clashy, but i like the tard helmet, superb.
>that birdo paintjob >Pilebunker is punishment
nice
Improve my NG+4 build, Ganker. Keep the pistols, tho, I like 'em.
"if you can take a bazooka/grenade, always consider if you can mount Majestic first" is what I hear.
I also recall the advice that due to recent patches little gem is not as competitive as it was before, like, there's only a 0.1 second difference of firing delay compared to other 'zookas or something iirc
If you're gonna run needleguns, how about runnin Ocellus FCS(the super short range focused one)? you're gonna be shooting them at short range anyway, plus bazookas won't be needing fast reactions when you're shooting down at the ground after jumping.
also if you can shove San-Tai in there consider doing that. huge EN pool is always nice, unless you go over the booster's limit by a huge margin goin over booster weight limit isn't that painful.
not sure if it's even any good, but this is what I'm rocking. I think that that stinger thing you get for fighting the ice worm might work better than the chainsaw, though.
big dick melee weapons like the chainsaw/pilebunker get easier to use when you get a way of building stagger reliably, dual pistols in particular are very nice for this. dual flamers are nice tho, especially against mecha-bonewheels. gonna be difficult to build stagger fast with that build tho,
I originally had two of the slow speed single target missile launchers to put pressure on them. I'd either be harassing the target from one end or they would, so one source of damage would most likely hit. The idea was to be pursuing them constantly, although the pincer missiles combined with it might work even better.
Stagger is only so extremely dominant in PVP because the netcode can't handle fast movement very well and stopping your opponent for extra damage basically rewards you for circumventing that issue. In PVE almost anything works if you have skill.
Charged Linear Rifles are nice for triggering stagger, which can immediately be comboed after with a charged laser rifle/cannon. build stagger with the linear rifle or other weapons. that's one 'charged weapon' build I can remember off of my head.
if only charging is important, I recommend using laser drones since it's almost always better to use it charged, or KRSV if you want BIG STAGGER(8 shots only). Double LCB is also a thing, if you can spare the weight on the assembly.
i got kind of a weird build but i was still experimenting with shit, i usually use laser canon instead of the laser turret thing, also had the burst rifle on the Spread zooka place and laser lance but for now i changed it to the picrel just to try shit.
I preordered it 3 days prior to its release, got the deluxe edition (OST is great if you're into ambient/electro!) and went in blind, and I gotta say, it was my GOTY. Great game, Handler Walter and Rusty are some of my favorite FS characters and it also features some of the most refined polish and gameplay from them as a studio. On all fronts, this game does an amazing job and is worth buying full price, let alone if you snatch it on a sale.
>worth buying on sale
Yes. Absolutely. It is completely disconnected campaign wise from any other Armored Core. My favorite game of last year easily. >deluxe edition
Not sure what that comes with but I wouldn't. There's no DLC or anything so it's probably a digital artbook and a soundtrack.
>should i buy autolock stagger slop
Yes. You're moronic enough to ask Ganker how to spend your money so you're probably moronic enough to enjoy this trash.
I want the return of if I find you on the other side of the mission you’re not coming back alive unless you cutscene before I kill you and your AC. Also the death list of Last Raven was kino
Colours are a little clashy, but i like the tard helmet, superb.
Trying to make him look more like a riot cop. Debating whether a shield is worth it or maybe a flame/napalm thrower as pepper spray/beanbag launcher. I make the weapons at the back that colour to mimic police lights but not sure if the idea comes across. Might be better making them bright yellow to just exemplify "light" and I need some better emblems
Think looks-wise this is it. Do you think it'll be decent/viable or should I change something around? Looking for advice
I don't remember anyone else doing a cop themed AC so I'm excited by the idea. That other melee weapon that's some kinda electric yo yo could also work well as a taser, or the "pepper spray" (flamethrower/napalm).
It's just a gag AC. One stun gun is bad, the shock baton isn't great, especially with those arms ect. I based him off of a pursuit vehicle and gave him cop guns. I think I've only won one VS match with him lel. He is incredibly fast though, which is fun.
Sirens are easy, just pick the U shape and make one red and one blue and place it on the right spot.
You know there’s something weirdly satisfying about gen 1 left and right strafing that isn’t there in any of the other generations that I can’t place my finger on. Maybe because of just the insane kick back from using boosters can feel.
It's because it's harder to do and the AI is worse at it. It really feels like something exceptional. Equivalent in 6 would be more like quick turn assault boost dodges and 180s, but they aren't as useful and the game never really incentivizes learning them outside of pvp.
Of all the genres that indies constantly rip off I hate the fact that this is not one of them. This gameplay is so fricking kino, even in PS1 graphics.
Absolutely not. At best it's ripping off 4A and not very well. AC pre-4th gen had a very different feel to it. Plus the plot gave me cancer, jesus fricking christ if I wanted to watch a 6/10 anime I would just do that.
>6/10
Lmao. DXM is completely schizo and nothing ties together properly. The story is a mess.
I still had a great time making mechs n' stuff though. I liked how you could have asymmetric arms and min-max them for different purposes. Locking the good part mods behind the RNG dungeons was pretty dumb though.
Anonymous
Yeah I mean in a vacuum it's not an awful game or anything but it's no AC that's for sure. It's rare that I think a game would have been better with no story than what it got, but DXM fits that bill.
It didn’t even count when everyone was coping for a new Armored Core and was willing to take just about anything and it still didn’t do the job. Still blows my mind there are people that just sees an extreme surface level video of DxM and thinks it’s more AC than AC6. When surface level is all it has.
Not even the souls basedtubers believe it's a souls game anymore. The grift is fricking over especially now that they don't have to pretend to care anymore since their ilk like that homosexual vaati can jerk off over ER dlc instead and the check ran out to promote AC to soulsgays
I'm looking forward to the Verdict Day/For Answer version of VI. Hopefully they'll bring back the more unorthodox parts like gun arms.
Also, check out the first generation arms dealers.
It's not even comparable. Armored Core is basically Ace Combat with mechs. AC6 is Armored Core with many more boss fights as well.
PVP is jank but it's fromsoft so what else can you expect? Singleplayer is probably ~40 hours to do every route.
The fact we didn’t get a Spirit of Motherwill or a Great Wall fricking blows man. This would be sick and is still is sick, but way less so without a second here’s the real actual challenging version of this idea. I hope we get something in DLC or the sequel.
If they had done arms forts again people would have accused it of being stale. Instead we got crazy anime bosses, which is just as fun in most cases.
I do hope the DLC adds a few more giant enemies and such though. Just imagine a base defense PVP mode where one team has to protect and arms fort while the other, larger team assaults it to prevent it from reaching its destination.
You can freely fly around it, land on it, shoot its guns, frick around with it, get stepped on by it, fail to climb it and get left behind by it. It's neat. A setpiece for sure, but it's neat.
Reminder that Ayre is unironically just using you to further the growth of Coral throughout the galaxy.
Reminder that in the Fires ending it shows that the Coral is actively attempting to leave the planet despite Ayre saying time and time again that it's "peaceful" and only wants to live on Rubicon
Reminder that Ayre constantly alludes to the fact that humanity will have zero choice on becoming one with the Coral or not by constantly shaming people acting against the Coral and praising those who attempt to get closer to it (even if they're objectively bad people)
Reminder that if 621 wasn't knocked out during the initial exposure to the Coral he would have been absorbed into it, which implies that most of humanity would be turned into space dust if the Coral made contact with a majorly populated planet
The game might be fricking moronic and tries to act like the Fires ending is bad but it objectively is the only viable option to keep humanity safe from an eldritch space dust that wants to consume it and create representatives to lie about it's true intentions to catch it's prey off guard.
You seek a world of endless war, and destruction. On that, we can agree.
The world of order, built by the Three Forces, is not one I can live in.
To live as I please, and die a senseless death.
That is who I am. Not a mere man of flesh.
War... is part of my existence.
Yes, absolutely. It's good for new fans and old fans as well. You don't need the deluxe edition but you can get it if you want it, I don't even know what it comes with.
As someone who's never played AC this game is kinda meh. It's a suprisingly story heavy action game where every mechanic seems somehow off and unsatisfying. It also feels really cheap. Like AA quality.
the energy shotgun and the laser rifle were my favorite hand weapons. i also rocked truenos until they nerfed them, and i dabbled with the coral shield for funsies as well
kinetics in general are still bad despite numerous buffs because at the end of the day they don't deal enough damage like lasers but also don't stagger fast enough like zimms

Pretty vague, could you elaborate please?
Dont care much for Anime Storys, its all about the mech fights.

ac6 is grounded - you have an energy limit, you can't stay in the air forever
dxm is perma flight mode, you can boost your speed even further and you can teleport around with blink on top of it
AC6 is seinen

but hey happy to help in answering your question!

Then stop whining like a b***h, and start discussing gameplay. If you make an interesting comment about gameplay, then people will respond.
The game has been discussed to death, and it hasn't gotten anything new lately, so unless you bring up a topic, this is what you get.
Yes
Okay but do I get the deluxe edition
And does it run okay on steam deck?
It supposedly runs pretty good. I don't think you're missing much if you skip out on the deluxe edition. It's just a fancy paint job if I remember right.
Deluxe edition only gives you digital artbook and soundtrack as extra, right? Just get that regular version if you are unsure.
Greatest game of last year. Absolutely BTFO the competition without even trying.
It's too easy. The basic enemies are largely pushovers. It needed to be more like Elden Ring, a game where all enemies are deadly.
no it needn't. There is supposed to be a power fantasy aspect too
After the first mission's boss, the difficulty does really drop off, especially when you find your groove, but damn if some of the later bosses didn't wreck me. I had to completely rethink my playstyle for that later boss the C Series weapon with the second phase
Oh yeah Ibis filtered me pretty hard at first. It took me about 2 or 3 hours to beat it.
It didn't, part of real robot genre is to have grunt Mechs that are like the Mig-21 to your F-22
More like, the random AA gun target to your F-22
Completely different type of games they're not trying to convey the same thing.
The mecha fantasy, at lest armored core's one, is being a one man army.
Armored Core =/= elden souls fotm whatever
>inb4 fromsoft is 'souls company'
AC came first. in fact, AC influenced the development of the souls series. if anything the inverse happened, and rightly so.
they should make a souls game but you play as amored mech
they already havve a game for that
or they're planning it. either or both, can't remember the interview, but that's a thing iirc
i hope it has chainsaws
>a game where all enemies are deadly.
NG+ and NG++ give you more story bits, different missions and you get to look behind the scenes and discover what was actually happening. IF you only do NG, you're not gonna know shit.
Armored Core is not meant to be Elden ring. It's a mech game.
I beat every boss in 5 tries. There's only 2 "hard" bosses in the game and one's because of the second life bar
>It needed to be more like Elden Ring
fricking an hero
>WHY DOES THE BIG ROBOT GAME LET ME POWER TRIP A BIG ROBOT
moron
hardly... everything is so impossibly huge in armored core world that it makes it feel like ur robot is small. u never get the chance to stomp a normal size skyscraper
>They all took the bait
wait wtf there is no triple slash dagger with a charge slash
Yes it's fricking gold
yes
Ye
I played about 2 hours so far, I'm a bit surprised how short the levels are
It's more like Metal Gear Rising than Dark Souls
Pretty damn fun though, I already found out you should just be spamming all weapons at all times
Yes
>let's build an entire working, fully functional tank AROUND a bipedal robot that doesn't need to be there in the slightest
Unironically the frick did they mean by this?
it's an AC , the whole thing is just his shoulders
They're piggybacking off the MT's interface unit for control or something, IIRC. The unit is exposed for game mechanics reasons but that's the excuse for its inclusion.
It's really telling that they didn't show that part of the tank in the trailers.
You can see the Cataphract's legs in both trailers I'm pretty sure.
RJs have a 20% damage boost vs normal legs IIRC.
That picture doesn't even look like a tank. It look slike an assembly line. The MT body in the tank isn't visible in the trailers where it's in motion. See
Bro you are blind. People have been joking about the Cataphract's vestigial legs since the release trailer came out.
No they haven't.
You're moronic as frick. That being said you can barely see that it's an MT attached to a big fricking tank in the trailer just that the MT is where it's controlled from and a weak point.
That's what happens when you let AI design your weapons for you.
Yep, its a great mech game.
its pronounced "metch"
you get a soundtrack, digital artbook and an extra AC Data made of parts you can get normally
it's fine
the AC itself is okay, nothing amazing, but it has sick custom detailing
also yes, play AC6
best action game in a decade
I just saw Gundam breakers 4 on the Nintendo direct
how does that compare to AC?
entirely different, that one's more like LBX/Danball Senki
I haven't played either of those so I can't compare
>realistic
>mech
come on now
Gundam Breakers is more of an anime kids adventure game. It's got a story and voice actors and everything and you're literally playing with toys.
Very different. If you like realistic mech game . Play ac.
>Nintendo direct
who the hell is watching that? ER dlc is being presented in mere minutes. MiyazakiSoftware btfo 'tendo
I've never given a frick about souls shit
I played 5 minutes of the dark souls demo on switch and tuned out
Maybe you should've played past the tutorial moron
It's a hack n' slash TPS closer to something like dynasty warriors or Kingdom Hearts
AC is not "realistic" for mecha, that's waht sim games like Steel Batallion and Mechwarrior do.
AC is more of an arcadey shooter.
You clearly never played a mech game before AC6 lol
yes, absolutely
make sure to emulate the previous ones when you're done, great games
>emulate the previous ones
Only note on that is that the prior AC games play VERY differently than AC6, especially the early ones from PS1 days. Having loved Master of Arena and AC2, starting AC6 and hearing all the stuff in game about human augmentation for piloting ACs it really did feel like it was a new era of AC
It's excellent go buy iy
I never got over how zoomed out the camera is. You can barely even make out anything but the bosses, especially if you shoot at range
Can't even tell if I'm obliterating a tiny walker or a tank or a flying orb
you problem
Never felt that way
It's truly fun. there was a thread the other day asking about the last time you truly had fun playing a game, and for me it was AC6. Removing all story elements, there's a mission where you have unlimited energy and have no need to manage usage so you can go ham. Flying around downing ships one after another was an absolute blast
>Is this game worth buying on sale as my first armored core?
Yes. It's literally designed to lure more people into the franchise. It still challenging like any FromSoft game
>Should I get the deluxe edition?
WHy would you spend more money? Just get the standard
Sheer raw kino game, I wish people could separate it from dark souls because it has almost nothing in common with it, it's more akin to an Ace Combat or an MGRR than anything else.
OP here
I just bought it
Not sure when I'll start playing it though
Hope you have fun when you do. It's a game where you can easily squeeze in a quick 30 minute session to beat a couple of levels
>Not sure when I'll start playing it though
classic Gankerirgin
>including palworld purchase for bonus (you)s
well good job I guess
Well done. Hope you like it and play it soon, your life will be higher quality the sooner you start playing.
Good luck Raven
Frankly, I recommend pirating the release day build so you can unambiguously enjoy the cheesyness of the original Stun Needle and Zimmerman combo.
wow, clean AC
You should see Pekora's AC.
Oh frick, that's actually fantastic.
>pekora
>not Patra-sama
I NEED THE AC CODE... NOW
I don't have it but I'm sure you can find it somewhere, even if you just have to watch her stream where she picked out the colors
Is NG+ worth it?
It unlocks new parts, new content, new missions, and new endings. It's a requirement if you want the whole game.
Cool, thanks
LMAOOO. Are you baiting or something? Fricking hell this has to be bait, right?
NG++ at least. There are A LOT of new missions, parts, new arena fights, and changes to previous missions in NG+ and NG++
NG++ unlocks a secret ending with a whole tree of missions you can't do in NG and NG+
Loghunt will be really annoying if you can't replay that one mission that you ignored(if you did so for three entire runs) and have to start a new loop and progress the camapign to that point.
>as my first armored core
No. Play the first one on ps1
It peaked at balteus for me
Feel the same but maybe because i like rain .
There are NG++ missions with only deadly enemies in them and anyone who played these would be glad that the entire game isn't like this
it's not wroth buying, barely worth pirating
Yes.
Seems like the AC series has some decent trailers.
>Ganker loves AC6
>NEVER talks about it
Why?
Also what the FRICK was his problem?
we had daily threads for ages
/m/ is comfy tho
need DLC
>why?
It's not a GAAS dripfed gacha game. Just like Pizza Tower, it had its discussion and then people moved on. Kinda prefer it this way, otherwise you end up with Homestuck levels of schizos and autism.
Ganker still has daily threads about Elden Ring though
You blow up a lot of ACs and most seem to take it well. Meanwhile Iguazu instantly seethes and chases you to the ends of the earth. Is it some sort of anime trope where a character becomes obsessed with the protagonist?
ER sold like 5 times as many copies. Also idk what people are talking about, AC threads are still very common here, a common occurence
The first time you meet G5, you shoot him in the back and humiliate him. It's like when you play some MMO and a gay kills you, so you want some payback. That event and his repeated failures to get payback ultimately drive him insane for the whole game.
>AC
>”Is it some sort of anime trope”
2023 was a mediocre year but it wasn't THAT bad.
in NG++, you blow up his AC the first time you meet him, defeat his attempts to kill you multiple more times, kill everyone he sends after you and ultimately make him look like a moron in front of his whole company.
Absolutely, was my GOTY in a really stacked year. I'd say it's even worth it full price.
>as my first armored core?
sure but, some people were disappointed to learn it's not a purely arcade action type game with customization.
Nerfing bosses should be a crime
every major boss got his resistances reduced , this is different from what they did to radahn
So all the bosses rn are the same as day one release?
well balteus missiles have less tracking now and that's it
they just made every boss more squishy i only tested the sea spider and Cel-240
this is what I mean
>sea spider
>18% explosive resistance
No wonder that homosexual was a cakewalk
Not really. You get new missions and most are harder than NG missions but enemies don't get more HP and damage or anything.
nice thanks
>I used a meta build that's since been nerfed
>this means the game is trivial
Ah yes, I opened up developer console and gave myself infinite money. Why is Fallout so bad?
have no experience in AC
what ps2-era ACs should i play first?
All of them. Start with AC2 and progress up the ladder.
Picked it up last week and have 14 hours in it so far. Pretty fun.
I now understand the appeal of mecha.
Is this really mecha? It's constant flying around at 300km/h and shooting energy balls, swinging laser swords and shit. You're basically a demigod that engages in DBZ fights with guns. Not really what a mech would do IRL.
>BUT MUH REALISM
mechs aren't real. Grow up
it's definitely anime mecha
this is a Japanese series after all
Just google "mecha" and read some definitions. It's not that tight of a genre. If it's a giant piloted robot, it's probably more mecha than not. Realism really isn't a concern for that genre.
>Le acs aren't realistic
is peak smarkshit. No fricking shit it's not realistic
That’s exactly what a mech would do IRL.
Yes you should get the deluxe edition
Support From Software
Play good games
Make Ganker seethe
i just beat my first playthrough an hour ago
the final boss fight was so anime, i had a shit eating grin the entire time
which one? It changes based on the ending
I'm betting it's walter since he has that beam laser
There’s another final boss that’s not Walter ?
Yes. Time for NG+ and NG++
There's about 3 final bosses.
>Mr. Breaking Bad
>your tulpa
>Iggy Pop
>ayre boss
ANON SPOIL I JUST RAPED ENFORCER ON NG+
there are two endings in NG and a third exclusive to NG++ ( you unlock new missions in NG+ and NG++)
Yes
>Should I get the deluxe edition?
Nah
Really wish I could have continued past chapter 4. Though I’ll start a new run, my build is not really suited to how fast paced the final boss is.
>tank
>mini guns
>song birds
This is all you need
save your money for er dlc
Should I emulate the PSP ports of the earlier games or emulate their respective PS2 versions with the analog controls patch?
Don't use Mind Beta legs.
>Best physical and explosive defense of the RJs
>Highest load limit, means you can mitigate their low stability with heavier torso/head parts and get yourself around the 1800 sweet spot easy
>The heavier load limit only amplifies what is without a doubt the strongest kick in the game
RJs have the strongest multiplier and the best homing, they hit 20% harder and can comically turn on a dime in some instances which makes kicking a really powerful tool for you, especially online where latency is involved.
cope i use them
It's a fantastic game, loved every second of it.
Very real possibility since Bamco said they want to continue supporting AC after the massive success of 6.
>the multiplayer is a complete afterthought,
Is it really?
I never saw the point in painting mechs. I always kept the default gun metal grey.
frick yes, you don't need the deluxe at all
hehehehehhe
(runs out of ammo fast but if it's just vs a boss or arena this is actually viable)
Cool, they added shoulder gats. Also what are you talking about regarding ammo? They must have nerfed gats because I remember dual gats having a frickload of ammo that would easily last for a whole mission.
They added a couple of new bits with 1.5
>New Schneider quad AC, whole thing, head, arms, core and legs
>Handheld pulse missiles
>RaD large machine guns (kinda meh)
>Shoulder mounted burst gatling guns
>Shoulder big energy laser that's like a tier below the triple barrel laser but stronger than the standard shoulder laser
>burst gatling
Blerg. I hate burst weapons in this game. The DPS is utterly neutered.
It's not really burst like the rifles. It overheats and cools really quickly so you get on-off periods of fire instead of just holding down the trigger forever like on the arm guns.
Yeah, it's best used with really slow firing hand weapons as a sort of inbetween while your arm weapon reloads/cools.
you can feather the trigger and keep shooting it, it's just got a really fast overheat
but if you're using 4 miniguns honestly I just held the triggers down the whole time (when in range and on target) and focused on moving, bosses just melted so fast
if you try and use them for some of the long missions I def ran out of ammo once or twice but still was fine to make it to a resupply
Tankgays are less than human. They're pure scum.
It's fun to beat someone by purely out skilling them with heavier armor and bigger weapons, though.
...Got a thread for you, 621.
621 really helped me remember the name of that furry r34 site.
>621... where have I heard that name before?...
>Create the weakest AC I can make
>Boot up Attack The Watchpoint again for the hundredth time
I hate it. But also love it. Quad minigun. Its pure cheese but it works too well.
Died to the Ibis prostitute like 5 times with a normal build. Took me like 2 min to take her down with this.
I had to force myself to stop using this as its way too easy. Only negative is 150k COAM ammo cost.
>check steamdb for the price
>they increased the base price and gave a discount
>the discount was the base price on release
What the frick?
What gulag do you live in? Game was £49.99 on release and it's on sale for £34.99.
Does this game even reference the older games? Besides the name Raven
No, but neither do most of the games. 3 itself was essentially a soft-remake of AC1.
>3 itself was a soft-remake of AC1
?????
It's borderline the exact same plot with some minor twists.
I have a ps4 slim, but was saving this for when I inevitably get a 5. Good plan or is the difference negligible?
It's on PC.
No shit. I'm a student and don't have a desktop
Then don't waste $500 on a PS5 that could be going towards a PC.
It'll be years before it's viable to have a desktop in my living arrangements while money isn't much of an issue. So the question is if it's that much of a difference from slim ps4 vs ps5
I played it on my PS4 slim. I liked it but I’m not someone who cares much about graphics performance. I liked it and enjoyed playing it that's it
>>AC3 doesn't have an omnipotent AI, just some guy named the Controller that we never see
The Controller is an omnipotent AI though.
>1640x844
>jaggies everywhere
>disgusting LoD
I didn't know the game could look this ugly.
You might be moronic.
If you’re 12 and want to play Woebot games then sure. But, if you’re a big boy, then no. It’s pretty shit.
Yes just so you can shit on Iguazu
I wish this game had save files. I want to experience the first playthrough limitations again.
Just back up your save and start a new one.
Lol
He's baiting
>worth buying on sale
Yes.
>get the deluxe edition
>THE ""MUSIC"" IS FRICKING DOGSHIT, WHAT WERE THEY THINKINK? BRING BACK ACTUAL FRICKING GARAGE MUSIC
Sorry, you're a queer with a poor ear.
This song sounds like how I imagined a long drag looking at a city on a moody night from above feels.
Good in small bursts, gets very annoying after 5+ minutes of AC tinkering.
Please tell me you haven’t played the game without saying you haven’t played the game
That's so fricking trash sounding. Modern ""ambient"" tracks are the worst thing to ever happen to video game music. Like that's just some white noise on in the background. Now AC1, yep that was a kino garage theme.
All AC games had a good garage theme. One of the few things that every game could do consistently.
Amazing. I barely got double digit hours in this game but this theme already sounds like home.
why would you start a series on the 6th game?
Same reason I started ace combat on the 7th game. It was easier.
I might die before playing all of them, might as well start with the best.
old ACs are simply too jank in controls with the exception of 4A and Verdict Day but uh yeah..
It's no grind, most of them are very easy to S rank. You'd have to replay most only once to get it.
Most S ranks are honestly not that difficult. Boss missions tend to be pretty forgiving as long as you're doing OK on time.
I did have a massive b***h of a time getting S rank on the Refinery mission but I think that may have been the worst.
the BAWS Factory line one with ghosts right? that one's infamous for it's time limit, yea. really notorious one, to the point people researched the conditions for S ranking it.
for anyone else having difficulties with it, iirc it's something like under 4:30 for clear, and failing that, 150,000 COAM profits for S ranking it. forgot whether if you still need speed for the COAM requirement, but it was over that when I got S rank.
took me like 4 days but you can do it even with Loader 4 with dual pistols and piledriver, just focus on blitzing through it, while not forgetting to take out the hidden melee ghost between the 1st and 2nd encounter (the one sitting next to the Message Log you can pick up)
Earshot can help, but it's not necessary if you can just blitz through the enemy and just immediately stagger then kill them before the ghosts teleport away. just focus on going fast and dodging.
The infiltration mission was also a pain but I meant the one where you encounter the Ekrodormoi or whatever they're called. The one with the fuel tanks as bonus objectives. I think the big limiter on me for that mission was time, and I eventually just got it my nailing a better route down as I learned the stage better.
Time is the most important one, but also money spent on expenses. I had a very clean run on Balteus once but still managed to cheat myself down to an A rank because I accidentally spent like 200k on ammo.
so, what criteria are there for S ranking a mission? clear time, repair and ammo cost?
Plus enemies killed in certain missions.
No, its trash. Soulslop wearing the skin of an actually good series.
>6 hours of cutscenes
no thanks, i like games, not movies
>90% of the video is speechless gameplay
Did ACgay really piss you off this much to try and attempt some weird gotcha?
dont know what video you watched, why are there voices while im playing?
there should be nothing but environment and sound effects, i shouldn’t be hearing radio comms or that an enemy is approaching.

i won't even address the rest of your moronic bait post but AC is literally the opposite of that

AC6 isn't anime slop, so none of those criticisms apply.

How's the co-op in this game?
sadly only PvsP
Someone is working on a seamless coop mod and trying for an opt in opt out invasion system with it too. I just find it funny the one idea that would actually feel right at home in Armored Core, debatably even more so than souls games on a contextual level, didn’t make it in. Not even for NG+ or anything.
Yeah that's really wierd, especially considering how you regularly team up with other ACs in the campaign anyway.
reddit core 6
DUDE
Wonder what Karamori will make for the next one.
Yes. It was most people’s first Armored Core. No to the deluxe.
I fricking loved it! You have to do multiple lay through a to beat the story completely though. This was also my first armored core game
The other 3 weapons are more or less just spammed on full auto.
luv me some machine guns.
Anime is trash, but mecha is kino. I hope that clears things up.
>I hope that clears things up.
In a way
AC6 revolves primarily around the Attitude Control System, ACS/Stagger for short.
>Coquillet (Pistol)
>Bu-tt/a (Pulse Blade)
>Laser Cannon Shoulder x2
Upgrade these with more powerful parts later on. You'll know them when you see them.
>BASHO Head
>TianQiang everything else
>Kikaku
>Talbot
>VP-20C
Alright, thanks!
Sure, I'll throw up a lobby. I've a couple builds to show off. In a PvP lobby, press square to go over and inspect other players and their builds if you like.
Password is rage
I'm really dogshit I've literally never tried PVP before lol. Have you got steam? Might be easier to organize like that. Here's my friend code: 191174169
The pvp in general is dogshit bro don't worry about it, jst play casually and have fun if you're gonna play it
you're right that pvp is shit, but not in the way you think
1v1 in ac6 is like playing a magic the gathering tournament with no sideboard; builds can hard counter others and the swinginess of stagger doesn't help
3v3 is actually the better pvp experience where you just have to treat it as an fps game with specialized roles, but no one plays that game because ofc north america has no concept of being good at team games
Like I said, fromsoft doesn't understand how to make good pvp. If they did, they'd have
>1v1, 2v2... all the way up to 5v5 with various mutators
>Assault mode like classic UT
>CTF
>KOTH
>Some kind of casual dota ripoff bullshit mode
>Combat Race mode
>Co-op
etc.
I've heard it's because some Bamco Gundam game has 2v2 and they don't want to compete with themselves.
Wouldn't be surprised, japs in general are stupid as shit when it comes to business and cargo cult all kinds of corpo behavior without understanding it.
>3v3 is casual blast'em fun
spoken like a true casual
you don't even realize that every casual game on earth can be made competitive thru simple RTA/speedrunning, ac6 3v3 is no different
don't get mad just because you got staggered to death because of bad positioning and ofc not bringing terminal armor
>People who play AC6 for the pvp and try to be "good" at it are genuinely moronic, they'd be better off playing a game actually made for pvp
I dare you to name a pvp game good enough for you so that anons here will rip it to shreds lmao
>instead more creative modes that don't revolve solely around AC vs AC combat.
just say you want capture the flag - that wouldn't be a bad idea actually - but then you admit that team play is the better mode kek
You have severe compbrain moronation and should stay away from video games that are made to allow people to actually have fun. Go back to Apex or Starcraft or whatever the frick it is that you "main".
>evades my questions completely
bye scrub lol
Why would I bother replying to you when you're basically just a moron who doesn't actually enjoy vidya?
Contrary to your idiotic belief, the vast majority of people play games to have fun, not to compete with other losers on the internet in a contest with zero stakes or meaningful prestige. If you want to be competitive, play a sport. It's not only better for you physically, you will find it more satisfying once you actually get good at it.
>you're basically just a moron who doesn't actually enjoy vidya?
reminder that games stay alive past their shelf life thru sweats, casuals like you who jump from game to game have no loyalty whatsoever and ofc have no idea of this
>If you want to be competitive, play a sport. It's not only better for you physically, you will find it more satisfying once you actually get good at it.
now now don't go dissing chess players
what did nerds like todd howard do to you lol
my hate for troons aside, i'm glad you actually didn't refute what i said
>reminder that games stay alive past their shelf life thru sweats
Games don't have a shelf life, once again you're just proving that you don't actually like vidya, you just want to pubstomp for free dopamine. I'd bet money that you wouldn't have even touched the story mode of AC6 if it wasn't required to unlock parts.
Go join a gym or take up a sport. I do boxing. It's very satisfying, and every since I started punching people in the face in real life I haven't given a single frick about pvp in video games.
>you just want to pubstomp for free dopamine
actually i dont
that only means the noobs leave and i have no one to crush
smart strong players act like poker players, never berating the fish how awful they play the game
the fish play their cosplay builds and get eyeballs to ogle at them, and the smart players crush them, 100% fair transaction
the fact that casuals like you can't see this basic truth means that your hate is coming from an inadequacy of some sort and i only hope you can manage your anger eventually LOL
also
>boxing
shit sport, should have picked MMA
Whatever you say butterball, have fun in your broken game.
ac6 is admittedly very broken at its core with stagger, 1v1 is a roulette and i wonder how people stomach that
>1v1 is a roulette
Not if you have the better build. Like if you are a missile boat and pummel from max range, it doesn't matter if you get stunned.
Or if you have a tank build and can simply out DPS your opponent to reach the first stun.
>missile rat
dies to BVO with san tai p10 booster
>missile boat
dies to x2 zimms x2 laser cannons
>tank
dies to missile rats
1v1 is a coinflip and you're at the mercy of the ranked randomizer
i would actually be ok with this if the game allowed sideboarding where you can access a few parts from the garage for rounds 2 and 3 but alas
The hell is a missile rat?
Also zims don't work at long range and using lasers halts you in place, allowing the missiles to hit you. You sure you know what you're talking about?
>the discussion is PVP
>doesn't even know what a missile rat is
i hate these reddit tier names too but are you sure YOU know what you're talking about?
Rat is a weird new term to refer to kiting playstyles. All I can think of is some Tarkov influence because I've never seen rat used outside of it until suddenly AC6 discords
Huh.
That double whammy completely killed any depth to the PvP since out-manoeuvring each other isn't even a factor, you'll be instantly spinning around to face each other the entire match
>boxing
>worse than MMA
Hahahaha jesus frick you're like one of those dudes who argues about military rifles on /k/ but hasn't shot anything larger than a .22 in his life.
Boxing sucks. It's basically just two guys skipping around a ring and jabbing for points. MMA is real shit where men break limbs and knock each other out to win.
>types the anon from his computer chair, never having experienced either in person, even as a spectator
Protip: If you ever have to bet on a fight between a boxer and some mma twink, bet on the boxer.
yeah that's why every bouncer knows how to throw and how to defend against them right? KEK
Whatever point you're trying to make, you're straight delusional kid. Go outside once in a while.
look, i know you like boxing and they earn a lot more than MMA because of fight rigging (so many X-0 fighters WOW) but it's clear you've never taken a low kick before and i hope you never do
I did Karate and Jiu Jitsu for 10 years before taking up boxing, so yeah I have, and I can tell you right now that trying to kick in an actual fight is the height of moronation. Nobody who has been in a bar fight, or a street fight, or even just a scuffle in a private area, would say something as moronic as "Oh yeah I can beat you with my MMA because I'll just sweep the leg".
That's also saying nothing of the fact that the average boxer is 50lbs heavier and 4'' taller than the average MMA fighter, even in amateur leagues.
reminder that mcgregor only lost to mayweather because mayweather couldn't be assed to learn takedown defense and mcgregor had to stoop to his level and job
>TV bullshit
I don't care about your goyslop entertainment.
That cannon is a homosexual pretending KOs happen in MMAs as opposed to tapouts and TKO, but nah. MMA dudes just take down and choke out whoever which is usually the better play than strikes.
>Boxing is just two guys skipping around a ring and jabbing for points
>MMA is real shit where men break limbs and knock each other out to win
Oh my god you cannot be serious.
>Boxing is just two guys skipping around a ring and jabbing for points
a good summation of mayweather's entire career
have fun being taken down by a simple leg sweep in a bar fight because boxing has no ground game whatsoever
HAHAHAHHAHAHAH HOLY SHIT ARE YOU SERIOUS?
TELL ME YOU SERIOUSLY BELIEVE LIFE WORKS LIKE A VIDEO GAME.
feel free to mention how exactly boxers defend against takedowns given their stance then
>hur dur just punch them first duh
riveting take
By not being 5'4''
I can tell you've never been in a fight in your life by the way you talk about it. You can't just input a sweep command and get a knockdown you moron, that's not how it works.
>already admits that boxing only works if you're big
>admits implicitly that smaller people can win against larger people thru takedown techniques, making them superior in a practical sense
lol keep going
>smaller people can win against larger people thru takedown techniques
No you idiot, they can't. That's why fricking weight classes exist even in MMA. Trying to sweep the fricking leg of Cletus the Trucker who weighs 300lbs will just get you a bruised chin and a creamy butthole, trying it on someone who actually knows how to fight will end up even worse.
nice strawman
the context is of a bar fight where your opponent could be bigger than you and certainly oblivious to combat sports
why risk fighting on the same axis as the bigger guy when you can use leverage and abuse his lack of takedown defense?
>strawman
You're fricking moronic, c**t. Go try your MMA on some hick in a bar and see what happens.
the hick at the bar isn't that roided strongman you love to imagine that's for sure lol
You have never fought a human being in your life, not even in grade school.
reminder that despite punches supposedly being so strong the vast majority of bar fights between two unskilled men still go to the ground for some reason
wonder if there's a class of martial arts that can help with ground game...
moron
a lot of wrestlers worked as bouncers compared to boxers
wonder why kek
That's a pretty dumb line of reasoning man. Their job is to throw people out of bars bot beat people in fights. Also a wrestler isn't an MMA fighter?
mma does wrestling, boxing doesnt
just saying that you'll be better served by learning MMA in real life (which also teaches you how to punch) rather than boxing but somehow a guy here can't let go, which is weird because isn't boxing the higher paying sport? lmao
This dude thinks life is like a video game, you can see it in his posts. He's acting like people who learn fighting techniques are basically fighting game characters whose movesets oppose each other and that everything has a counterplay. It's pure moronation borne of watching too much TV, playing too much vidya, and never going outside.
>whose movesets oppose each other and that everything has a counterplay
dude don't tell me you can't deal against a guy that only knows how to deal telegraphed right hooks? because that would be counterplay if you do know lmao
moron
>repeats moron like a moron
fine, you can have the last word now lolololol bye
>u can't use those moves IRL if you don't have them equipped
>u can't know anything but your moveset it's not fair
moron
Big bros, our response?
>U DIDN'T REFUTE!
homie this ain't a debate club lmao, I ain't gotta "refute" shit. Stop acting like a redditor. You're a homosexual and you're probably one losing streak from cutting your dick off if your mindset is any indication. Who the frick cares about competitive AC6? Nobody sane, for sure.
>I ain't gotta "refute" shit
then stay scrubbin' fool
bye!
>I'm so fricking skilled for being a zero-fun metaslave
t. (You)
>metaslave
truly the mantra of terminally contrarian scrubs
takes me back to the 90s where people complain about blocks and throws in SF II Turbo KEK
>every casual game on earth can be made competitive thru simple RTA/speedrunning
A fricking speedtroony, can't make this shit up.
Really because every 3v3 game I play is quad missile launchers homosexuals who run away all match while I am the only clown without a meta build just trying to have fun despite missiles blocking out the sky
Here's how to join

Colours are a little clashy, but i like the tard helmet, superb.
>that birdo paintjob
>Pilebunker is punishment
nice
"if you can take a bazooka/grenade, always consider if you can mount Majestic first" is what I hear.
I also recall the advice that due to recent patches little gem is not as competitive as it was before, like, there's only a 0.1 second difference of firing delay compared to other 'zookas or something iirc
If you're gonna run needleguns, how about runnin Ocellus FCS(the super short range focused one)? you're gonna be shooting them at short range anyway, plus bazookas won't be needing fast reactions when you're shooting down at the ground after jumping.
also if you can shove San-Tai in there consider doing that. huge EN pool is always nice, unless you go over the booster's limit by a huge margin goin over booster weight limit isn't that painful.
big dick melee weapons like the chainsaw/pilebunker get easier to use when you get a way of building stagger reliably, dual pistols in particular are very nice for this. dual flamers are nice tho, especially against mecha-bonewheels. gonna be difficult to build stagger fast with that build tho,
Thanks for the pointers, gonna do a few mission runs and see which fairs better.
It's anime and that's obviously a good thing.
it's actual kino
>there's only one person who can keep up with me
>friendly wolf guy who dies by your hands
>first boss casual filter
What other FROMSOFTWARE tropes are present in AC6?
It was the best new game I played last year. It was also my first Armored Core.
Is this the lowest the price is going to be? I might buy it today, but I'm not really in the mood to play it yet.
G6 Red did nothing wrong
>Faction inspired by the Red Shoulders have a bad ending
Who could have predicted this?
They have literally nothing in common.
I like G6 Red, he looks like the most normal person in the game. And my other favorites are Chatty and Freud. Too bad those two don't get along.
>Freud
Wasn't that guy a pompous, arrogant person that was blinded by hubris?
>I AM ARCEBUS
>ARRRRRRRRHG!
That was Snail. Freud is the jobber who shows up and blasts Chatty before instantly dying to a single pile bunker.
That's snail. Freud was the fight autism dude that kills chatty and only gets upset losing to you because it means he can't fight you anymore
Nah that is V.II Snail
I like the fact that Even a tactician like snail .had to accept Freud's superiority because he lacked skilled people.
I FLY HIGH
WATCH THE SUN RISE
i got kind of a weird build but i was still experimenting with shit, i usually use laser canon instead of the laser turret thing, also had the burst rifle on the Spread zooka place and laser lance but for now i changed it to the picrel just to try shit.
Improve my NG+4 build, Ganker. Keep the pistols, tho, I like 'em.
gundam looking head
Huh?
Why are there no gun arms?
Probably coming in the inevitable DLC. Kadokawa practically shat a brick at the sales numbers so I'm guessing one will be out by late summer.
>worth buying on sale
Yes. Absolutely. It is completely disconnected campaign wise from any other Armored Core. My favorite game of last year easily.
>deluxe edition
Not sure what that comes with but I wouldn't. There's no DLC or anything so it's probably a digital artbook and a soundtrack.
>sale ends in 20 hours
WHAT DO I DO?
>should i buy autolock stagger slop
Yes. You're moronic enough to ask Ganker how to spend your money so you're probably moronic enough to enjoy this trash.
Go back to fortnite bro this is a pve mech game.

Blue and white definitely fits more with the riotcop style
Think looks-wise this is it. Do you think it'll be decent/viable or should I change something around? Looking for advice
I don't remember anyone else doing a cop themed AC so I'm excited by the idea. That other melee weapon that's some kinda electric yo yo could also work well as a taser, or the "pepper spray" (flamethrower/napalm).
No idea, im never any good with design. I'd go with dark blue and black, then highlight certain parts with white here and there
shit, i didn't actually post the picture. I tried to make the smacker look bloodied.
A fellow officer
THERE IS ANOTHER ONE!!!!
What sort of build did you make? Do you find it effective? I need to make the siren colour shoulder things work for me but idk how you went about it
It's just a gag AC.
Conducting aerial maneuvers in AC1 feels much better than in 6 once you've got it down.
Daemon X Machina doesn't count?
Absolutely not. At best it's ripping off 4A and not very well. AC pre-4th gen had a very different feel to it. Plus the plot gave me cancer, jesus fricking christ if I wanted to watch a 6/10 anime I would just do that.
>6/10
Lmao. DXM is completely schizo and nothing ties together properly. The story is a mess.
I still had a great time making mechs n' stuff though. I liked how you could have asymmetric arms and min-max them for different purposes. Locking the good part mods behind the RNG dungeons was pretty dumb though.
I have hopes for its sequel though.
I need to find a spot for this where it can actually be read.
Graphic design is my passion
My rock-fu
If your boost is under 400, you're not living.
Fellow officer.
>EARSHOTs you
Stop resisting.
It feels so good to go FAST
MTs make me go uoooooh!
Made this when the game just launched
I never saw the point in painting mecha myself. It's not like the game is a fashion contest.
It just looks cool
Red makes you go faster
I paint but I can't get into decail autism
>every login
>always play the balteus mission as a warm up
I just fricking love this boss fight
It’s utter, pure, peak kino
Ayre my beloved
Its a bad AC game and a mediocre soulslop game.
>t. hasn't played any AC games especially not AC6
I probably played AC before you were born but that doesn't really affect whether the game is shit or not (it is).
its nothing like a souls game, what are you talking about
>straightforward story
>mission-based
>no leveling system
Not even the souls basedtubers believe it's a souls game anymore. The grift is fricking over especially now that they don't have to pretend to care anymore since their ilk like that homosexual vaati can jerk off over ER dlc instead and the check ran out to promote AC to soulsgays
>anymore
Vaati himself was saying it wasn't a soulslike back when he got invited to the prerelease event.
Im just saying you shouldnt compare it to soulsgames man lmao
its a great game
Nah I was agreeing
They were definitely still riding on the "elements" agenda to save face
Sorry i made this post i forgot to mention that i'm trans btw
I literally came within a few clicks of buying it hours before it went on sale, thank god I got distracted and forgot about it
Yes.
This is literally everyones first armored core, dude
I'm looking forward to the Verdict Day/For Answer version of VI. Hopefully they'll bring back the more unorthodox parts like gun arms.
Also, check out the first generation arms dealers.
Is this game better than Helldivers 2 because I just refunded that game and got my money back
Significantly easier to have fun by yourself and multiplayer is pretty good too. You will die a lot, though.
>You will die a lot, though.
Not really. It's not a hard game.
In multiplayer you die fast.
It's not even comparable. Armored Core is basically Ace Combat with mechs. AC6 is Armored Core with many more boss fights as well.
PVP is jank but it's fromsoft so what else can you expect? Singleplayer is probably ~40 hours to do every route.
It's good. I personally liked 4 and Verdict Day more for being faster paced. The games are pretty short in length, you can beat it in a weekend
Can someone post webms of the giant thing that walks in the desert? Someone said it was a giant cutscene, and I wanna see if it was true.
Literally one second on youtube
wtf there's no cutscenes in this mission. Ganker lied to me.
When is it going to go on sale next? I don't know if I feel like playing it right now.
It's a troony game, dont even bother pirating.
It had potential, but was completely ruined by the bullshit stagger mechanics that force you into certain builds.
it was my first AC as well and my goty in 2023
I dunno what's in the deluxe edition but I doubt it's worth the extra dosh but buy the game regardless
Will it go on sale again in spring?
Just brought the game, homosexuals. Wish me luck.
You seek a world of endless war, and destruction. On that, we can agree.
The world of order, built by the Three Forces, is not one I can live in.
To live as I please, and die a senseless death.
That is who I am. Not a mere man of flesh.
War... is part of my existence.
Isn't eng dub more immersive? It's a fricking robot film
Just nut up or shut up you two morons. Meet up, fight, move on. We're here to talk about giant robots
Nice
How the frick did you get your moving performance so high?
It's an OB core.
Sure but I didn't expect 500 points on a heavier frame. That's nuts.
Yes, absolutely. It's good for new fans and old fans as well. You don't need the deluxe edition but you can get it if you want it, I don't even know what it comes with.
Wrong board
Wrong board
As someone who's never played AC this game is kinda meh. It's a suprisingly story heavy action game where every mechanic seems somehow off and unsatisfying. It also feels really cheap. Like AA quality.
I fricking love lightweights, post builds
i really wanted to like the PVP but i only had fun using busted weapons
like?
the energy shotgun and the laser rifle were my favorite hand weapons. i also rocked truenos until they nerfed them, and i dabbled with the coral shield for funsies as well
kinetics in general are still bad despite numerous buffs because at the end of the day they don't deal enough damage like lasers but also don't stagger fast enough like zimms
Daemon x Machina was better.
1v1 DxM is much better than 1v1 ac6
just a simple matter of banning anfang brinicle and aim assist
psh
I mean no offense, anon.
But this post is delusional.
Nah, it is just the facts. DxM is more like classic AC games than AC6 is.
>DxM is more like classic AC games than AC6 is.
NTA, but okay, AC VI is modeled after AC IV onward games, yet retains elements from all over the place as far as the franchise goes.
This bad boy got me through 90% of all three playthroughs. Working on a ranks now with some other builds. Absolutely worth it, best game in ages.
I really wish game had more content and better pvp because i enjoyed it more than eldenring
Any rooms? I want to show off how shit my internet is
The only mech game i have ever played where the Zone of the Enders Games.
How does AC6 compare in terms of gameplay?
I loved blitzing around, melee the enemies and graple them in ZoE.
The Laser beams where my highlight tho.
Can i build something that can somewhat recreate that in AC6?
I woud instantly buy it.
And how is the movement?
Can i evade stuff by barrel rolling in air and such?
ac6 is very much NOT anime just to be clear
you're better off playing daemon x machina but i'd only buy that game on sale on steam at most; switch game prices are insane
It is 60% off on Steam right now.
>Very much NOT Anime
Pretty vague, could you elaborate please?
Dont care much for Anime Storys, its all about the mech fights.
I woudnt mind trading laser beams for kinetic weaponry, but how much coud i replicate the movement and melee?
ac6 is grounded - you have an energy limit, you can't stay in the air forever
dxm is perma flight mode, you can boost your speed even further and you can teleport around with blink on top of it
i was talking about how ac6 is real robot compared to actual anime physics like dxm
Noob doesn’t know about coral generators, lol
didn't know coral generators can make you teleport too holy shit
just run a private lobby with friends, expecting randoms to abide by arbtrary rules of fun is a fool's errand
>ac6 is very much NOT anime just to be clear
>morons actually believe this
look up dxm gameplay and never come back here
AC6 is seinen
Because it is the superior game.
AC has always been anime
cry homosexual
morons don't even see that
is talking about gameplay rather than story beats
its anime even in gameplay
>constantly dashing around using laser swords
its more anime than shit like votoms
melee cancelling with pulse blade has nothing on melee cancelling with wing shift and blink on anfangs, makes the former look like real robot in comparison
You can literally start a mission a never touch the ground genius. Git gud and get educated.
>has to make a specific boring build just to fly slowly
>dxm will allow you to fly forever with just the starting arsenal, no need to even git gud
heh, lol
>clown thinks you have to go slow to achieve infinite flight in AC6
>Even idiot youtubers know better
KEK
post gameplay of both ac6 and dxm perma flight then we'll let anons here decide which is the more "ANIMU"
nah ofc you won't kek
>clown loses the argument over "having to move slow for infinite flight
>tried to move the goal post as damage control
Sad.
>completely ignores

Can i evade stuff by barrel rolling in air and such? asking about which game has the more anime gameplay
now that is very sad, but hey, here's your (You)
I was never part of that argument, clown. I just came in to laugh at the dumbass who said:
>ac6 is grounded - you have an energy limit, you can't stay in the air forever
>I was never part of that argument, clown.
ofc you'd say that when you've clearly lost, how convenient xD
but yeah next time someone asks for anime mecha i'll be sure to tell them that coral gen flight is the pinnacle
I gave up, Ganker doesnt talk about Gameplay anymore, its always about drama or shitposting or ecelebs or virtue signaling.
I thought that i could find a cool new game here, and discuss the gameplay beyond "just play X, Y is not like X".
But anons are too busy one upping themselfs.
Thank you for mentioning tho.
I can't say since I haven't played ZotE, but just look at AC6's gameplay.
Ganker will always have morons trying to one up others sorry about that
but hey happy to help in answering your question!
Then stop whining like a b***h, and start discussing gameplay. If you make an interesting comment about gameplay, then people will respond.
The game has been discussed to death, and it hasn't gotten anything new lately, so unless you bring up a topic, this is what you get.
>not anime
you have a magical girl speaking in your ear for 90% of the game
Can we take a moment to appreciate how good the soundtrack is?
I'll only start appreciating once the new FreQuency remixes release
Man double zimms are still godlike on lightweight melee builds, who needs vientos
honestly vientos did not need nerfing
Other pistols need a buff more like, ducketts need more stagger
We're getting DLC after erdtree releases right guys?
how 2 ez mode since shotg0n nerf??
shotgun + laser cannons
shotgun even harder
