It's garbage that has you work for $2 an hour if you decide to "Grind out the gems with gold", so you will be forced to payping if you want to get anywhere and do anything. And don't forget buying two expansions too. Play Guild Wars 1, it's a better game with no p2w bullshit or cash walled story content.

Everything you can buy with real money is either purely cosmetic or some convenience shit like a bigger inventory. There is absolutely no mechanical advantage to spending real money. In fact I’ve found it’s inversely related, the people with the shiniest gem store skins are the easiest to kill in pvp
It's free to play. The expansions are paid but the latest expansion includes the one that came before it.
It's better than both of those games but also very different.
Also it's pay to win and anybody claiming that being able to use your credit card and convert premium currency into the primary currency of a game with a trading post that has nearly everything in the game on it is absolutely moronic.

eso is better but it's still better than new world. I wouldn't recommend it though since you'll be forced to BUY story content later on to progress. This game only exist to milk morons with cosmetics at this point

Dragonhunter (Guardian) does well with GS, you'll find most builds recommend it.
It's alright but the timegating gets boring.
The combat is weird and often it's unclear why you died. Definitely a high skill cap if you want to raid or pvp.
If you want a game where you have a daily routine and a slow grind toward max power then it's good.

Yes a lot actually. It's easy since it's b2p and people just drop in and out whenever they feel like.
OP it has better combat than any current MMO. It has a shitload of content that can last you years. The thing it doesn't have is raids. Last one is like 2 years old.

gw2 is a good example of why every mmo nowadays has the same kind of endgame because any deviation from it is fricking boring and makes the game feel pointless to play. if you like the explore and do autism collections its fine i guess but literally every other part of the game is worse than any other mmo out there right now
its too bad, i like the aesthetic, and the way alot of the classes feel particularly thief. Game could be alot better.

Everything is okay for general PvE content. Whether or not it's meta for fractals or raids is another (and ultimately irrelevant) question.

One of the worst MMOs on the market on release. I heard that once it started hemoraging players Anet fired the troony team and the new team steered the game into something slightly better, with more emphasis on GW1 nostalgia than prior.
However, the game went from tumblr nonsense to cringe Marvel quip shit.
