Racing game, I'm assuming. They had a small few back in the day for arcades, and Auto Modellista had a worse sequel for Xbox, but Capcom doesn't get into racers. Not every company needs to have their hand on every genre. Konami didn't bother with fighting games except one.
Konami is weird with fighters, they absolutely had the infrastructure to develop a robust IP but they've only flirted with it throughout the years, ranging from home runs to steaming piles. Yie Ar kung fu was one of the first ever fighters, funnily enough. >TMNT: Tournament Fighters is great, all 3 versions >Rakuga Kids was a fricking masterpiece >G.A.S.P fricking sucks >Bugi is a kusoge but I like it anyway >And then there's some Japan-Only Arcade exclusive that's very stripped down, realistic and like a 70's Shaw Brothers movie
There's probably more that I'm forgetting.
by then they don't usually include those particular cars, even a lot of games from the 90s don't always have them. In any case it doesn't have 'the best selection'
What I keep hearing is that the games tires are like soap. But if you can change the tires for more grip, would that solve the problem or is the game still slippery?

Even with a maximum grip setup, the car can be a bit slippery, but you can get around most of it by being precise with your accelerator and turning inputs.
Capcom did barely anything to improve the AI in US tuned, outside of a handful of events that have one new tough opponent. In fact, most AI opponents struggle with the new physics themselves, so you'll still thrash the AI as long as you can get used to the handling.
Although they take longer to accelerate, the US tuned cars also have a higher top speed, in my experience. Plus the engine swap feature doesn't lock you out of non engine tuning, if you want to use the classic cars.
I'm playing one of the namco ones currently and I was impressed how good it was. It's a shame they only did a few of them before capcom/milestone took over but maybe it was for the best
Only what?

>Racing game
NO
THERE'S THIS
LOOK AT THIS
I said they made a few arcade racers, but very few.
That looks pretty nice. Was that Slipstream indie game inspired by this?
>it's a 1995 game
Yikes, this should be competing with Chase HQ in 88 not with Ridge Racer, Sega Rally and Daytona in 95

You don't have a pass?
>best artstyle and car selection
>below average gameplay and structure
give us a remake plox
I guess it must be a great selection since they included the meme corolla levin and fairlady z for weebs to s0i gape to
Correct, I love all the 80s/90s weeb ricers
>ricers
Is that what we call Japanese racing games now
No, that's a term for adding tons of unnecessary cosmetic modifications to a car by people who usually have no idea what they're doing.
>plays a japanese racing game from the 2000s
>complains about the car list being full of "weebmobiles"
by then they don't usually include those particular cars, even a lot of games from the 90s don't always have them. In any case it doesn't have 'the best selection'
You'd have to be crazy to make a game with drifting and not have THE drift car.
its a sprinter trueno not a corolla levin
It's a levin, are you blind or don't actually know the difference?
Nevermind, I apologize, it actually has both.
Trueno
Levin
i was saying the meme mobile is a trueno not a levin
this has some hardcore oversteer, it reminds me of touge max
They made a megaman racing game for the psx.
that was a pretty shitty Mario Kart bandwagon game

Stop coping because you can't turn.
US Tuned is one of best racing game on 6th gen.
did the game have an option for the tires?
Yes
then what is everyone complaining about?
I don't know.
I find US Tuned very easy, but the purpose of this game is to be more difficult than Auto Modelista.
What I keep hearing is that the games tires are like soap. But if you can change the tires for more grip, would that solve the problem or is the game still slippery?

They released some MotoGP games but those were made by the same shitters that self publish them now.

Group S Challenge is the second Capcom racing game from the sixth gen. Unfortunately, it is generic as frick.
The sheer lack of effort in the western logo tells you everything about what Capcom expected from that game's localization.
capcom is a one note dev. they only make action game and fighting games. no soul.
it looks so good but goddamn it plays s
I understand adding American cars to US Tuned, but why Korean lol?
because Korean version was made at the same time as the American version, no reason to remove content already in the game
>no mention of F-1 Dream
