Is this shit worth it for a mindless (and shittier) New Vegas-like clone?

Nope, it's a terrible game and it's nothing like new vegas
Just pirate it and give it a try. Don't give nu-Obsidian any money.
Its shit but still better than F3 and F4, sequel has potential
Ahahahahaha fucking lol
Obsidian tards has mental illness
better than new vegas because it's in space
>dude muh hardcore rpg! you gotta eat and drink and sleep and shit it's so role playing game!
>go to town
>try to rent a room and sleep
>clearly see there are vacant rooms
>mmmm no you gotta sleep in your shop
uninstalled, glad I didn't pay for it
ship*
Not really, it's incredibly forgettable.
It’s much better than new gaygas
Yeah. I didn't listen to Ganker and played it and it was quite fun. I really liked the setting and some stuff was geniunely funny. Quests lack the depth and character's progression is kinda too easy but the game isn't very long either. As a space adventure for a few evenings it's a great game.
No it's a shitty walking simulator with a couple of neat puzzles that go "hope you went to the other fuckin end of the map and waited for the sky sphincter to be in the right position first trololo"
Sounds like a game that holds your hand like w3 or horizon might be more your speed there lad
it's very underwhelming, everything is small, short, and not particularly exciting
It's a quintessential 5/10 game.
- Washed out visuals
- Dumb fuck stealth system
- Plot and lore that feels like it was written by a 16 year old that just watched 20 YouTube videos on Marxist critique of capitalism.
- Most companions are forgettable if not insufferable
- Game play loop is 1) find quest hub 2) plan route for completing quests 3) return to quest hub and turn in quests 4) repeat until the planet / quest hub is exhausted
So if you want to mindlessly grind your way through an RPG game, sure, go for it.
Why did you play like this, ya brain damaged?
I don't "play that that", it's how the game is designed. Quest hubs encourage this. I know the instant I enter a town, there will be 3 - 4 quests for me to pick up, which will have between 1 - 3 follow-up parts, most of it being
>hurr durr [bad faction] / [carnivore fauna] has taken over [old facility] and my [inconsequential research results] is on a [futuristic storage device] I forgot there! Kill all the enemies and retrieve the data plz!
This is why some westerm devs are seething over Elden Ring's quest designs, which encourages exactly the opposite of mindless grinding through trivial quests. Outer Worlds is just a good example of what "uninspired" looks like.
>shoot someone in the face while disguised
>somehow this doesn't break your disguise
balanced game
strong women characters ruined it for me. plus i couldnt kill whoever i wanted
>plus i couldnt kill whoever i wanted like you can in new vegas.
not sure why people even call this a new vegas clone.
It's nothing like it.
Mental illness detected
>strong women characters ruined it for me. plus i couldnt kill whoever i wanted
A lowercase poster would feel this way.
i thought all capital posters were phoneposters?
>i thought all capital posters were phoneposters?
They only use capital I when their sentence starts with it because they can't be bothered to put in the bare minimum of effort.
>Le leddit memes
videogame equivalent of a tofu burger.
It's ok/10
I felt like I wasted the dollar I paid to play it
>is it worth it
no,not really the world is legit souless(might interntional?) lack of weapons and armor is painful(oh look the same weapons but mk2!)then there is the lack of ammo variety, lack of enemy variety and so on
Companions and "Factions" are some of the worst to be ever made
it's the kind of game you play while waiting for a better one to come out. i find it ok and inoffensive, tho there was some actual fun parts and one joke got me laughing genuinely
there's this quest where you have to read diary entries to figure out a combination... which ends up being 1234
