Not exactly. We know it hit 4mil by the end of opening weekend, of which a decent chunk will have been pre-orders, and then we know it hit 10mil by June 2022.
Its sales were fine. It certainly didn't flop, just probably didn't sell quite as well as TLOU1. (Even that's debateable, due to different timeframes and different bundling deals.)

Probably not the right place for a serious TLOU discussion but after TLOU2 ending I'm thinking that we will see an older Ellie (maybe mid 20s or early 30s) as a murderhobo paralleling Joel when he was that age, just absolutely broken and jaded to the point that she no longer cares, and is living somewhere in the west coast around LA, since that part of the world is hinted to be important to future entires in the series. Probably looking for the Fireflies or something idk. And she likely runs into Abby again and they have to work together or something. Completes the cycle or something.
