Nintendo exclusives >4 Digimon Story games on DS >the 2 enhanced ports of the Wonderswan fighting games on GBA >Appli Monsters game on 3DS
Sony exclusives >3 Digimon World Games >1 card game simulator >1 Fighting game
All of these on PS1
The rest of the Digimon games are all multiplatform. I don't know why morons act like Digimon is a Sony-related franchise. As soon as all console manufacturers adopted DVD (including the Game Cube's mini dvds) they started publishing to everyone.
There's also Digimon Racing on the GBA but that's literally the worst thing that franchise ever shat out so I feel like that subtracts more than adds.
On the other hand, while ReDigitize is multiplatform, the 3DS version has more content than the PSP one.

Digigays don't exist.
Digimon is a dumb boortleg franchise that only exists for snoys to cope with not having Pokémon.
do a little research and that's not the case. You sound like a white b***h too.
Pokemon isn't good and it's not something you should be defending either.
Idk, why haven't more of you left this series behind after being disappointed over and over again? I did and I never felt better.
>Gen1
I honestly thought that it was shitty even back then. I remember wishing for scenarios like the manga instead of the lackluster shit we got.
Even in stadium, I was wondering why nothing touched when attacking
>g/s
A huge improvement, but still rather lacking in comparison to other games, I really liked the time mechanics. Didn't even waste allowance/birthday gift on stadium2
>R/S/E
During the gap between second and third gens I played almost every standard jrpg, and a couple of ones off the beaten road. Happened upon one called "Arc the Lad Collection" it's monster battling was superior to pokemon in every way imaginable and get this it premiered in 96' when r/g came out.
I can only find small clips without one really annoying let's player
So when I saw r/s in a stapled on gba at toys'r'us I said "frick this" and skipped gen 3 altogether, also Coliseum reused models from stadium, the leap between generations was huge, this was unacceptable.
>gen4
Tried it out one more time, the game itself was kinda dull and the competition had animated sprites with overworld following animations.
?t=260
To top that all off a bunch of bullshit had been introduced like invisible stats in iv/evs and it was too much. Also the same models from the N64 were being used. To top that all off another developer made a vastly superior game with the license with fully animated sprites and a vastly superior story.
Digimon's games weren't great, but their anime was pretty alright, we saw many different takes on what digimon could be.
>The creature designs are good
It's 20 a gen you think are cool and the rest are shit. There is no anatomy, or fundimentals of art. > bootleg cope version for snoys
Stop acting white again. I.E. uneducated white dude who sphere of influence stops outside of the US and Europe.
A good number of pokemon designs were ripped straight from ultraman which is made by bandai? If anything digimon was Bandai taking back it's ip
Check this.
>A good number of pokemon designs were ripped straight from ultraman which is made by bandai?
I agree with you on everything but to be extremely fair, Ultraman is pretty much a defining kaiju property so of course the games based on monsters are gonna be influenced by it, even SMT takes heavy inspirations from it and many other toku series >If anything digimon was Bandai taking back it's ip
That's a funny thing I noticed. I've seen people accuse DQM and Devil Children being pokemon rip offs, which whatever you may think of them, they're both spin offs of games that did what pokemon did but years earlier
>Ultraman is pretty much a defining kaiju property so of course the games based on monsters are gonna be influenced by it.
I am well aware the influences run deep in many series.
However the thing with pokemon is that it's so blatant and no one calls this shit out. For example not Ultraman, but Salamance is literally devilman as a poorly drawn pillow dragon.
> DQM and Devil Children being pokemon rip offs,
DQV came out before pokemon and Shin Megami was always about recruiting dudes. So other can shove it.

Never met a single solitary actual person who liked Digimon and wasn't also a Pokémon fan.
People who are fans of both tend to like mons on general and play more than one franchise
I have seen plenty of people who prefer Digimon much more, and a few who just want nothing to do with pokemon
t. smtgay
nah, >design
Pokemon have no anatomy except for maybe machamp. While digimon have muscle structure and are well thought out. >Consistancy
there are very few shitty looking digimon, while majority of pokemon look stupid, or are generic animals with one fantasy elements added. It's really only 20 or gen that are cool and the rest are shitty or plain. >music
by far way better in anime than any track on pokemon >Robots up until recently
there were no robots until this gen, and most look pretty shitty truth be told >
not even that really. I've tried the digimon anime years ago as I had good memories of it but it was horrible. The production value was low. Still frames, repeating shots, including the eternally repeating magical girl transformations of the mons. The first season of Pokemon is way better.
Kids used to say the digimon anime was better because digimon moved on, while Pokemon entered the era of repetition that we are still in. The beginning was great.
as I did with both shows.
The frames don't become more fluent by changing to subs so I don't get how this would change anything. The translation wasn't the problem and from what's to read online, only the music really changed.
I really liked the Digimon anime as a kid
If I watched it now I'd probably think that it was shit, but back then it really left an impression on me
What really appealed to me then was that it felt like it had some real stakes, like it was building up to something
My first experience with a Digimon game was some awful title on the PS1, the only other good memory I have from Digimon were those tamagotchis
>If I watched it now I'd probably think that it was shit, but back then it really left an impression on me
The English dub is shit, but there's still a real story with real character arcs and stuff to care about and appreciate in there
or other monster catching games and i say this unironically there are some that elevated the form to be better, Fricking bugsnax of all games destroys Pokemon but not in sales.
i have never seen a digimon fan

Most second-party exclusive Digimon games are on Nintendo consoles.

Of course it's true. Digigays are scum of the worst and lowest kind.

Sometimes i wonder how some people end up on the pokemon board
stop acting like a dank prostitute
I mean, the only reason Digimon gets mentioned here is to cause clout attention.
A lot of people who partake in Digimon discussion here are fans of both and just shitpost both sides. Most people just ignore it.

yes. even the mods have our backs on that
Digimon are for Blacks
There is an old Arab Bedouin saying: I, against my brothers. I and my brothers against my cousins. I and my brothers and my cousins against the world.
Yeah, pretty much. The only thing Digimon has over Pokemon is a superior anime/story. We beat them in everything else.

Nah, digimon merch blows pokemon's out of the water.
