Well 3-10% (with a global average of around 5%) of populations are gay, 0.1% are trans. I'd say gay characters designed to be unattractive and super political or stereotypical tokens are overrepresented. However cute gay boys are highly underrepresented and mostly come from Asia. Just make the characters cute and avoid politicizing or tokenizing them and no one would complain.

Id argue testament is an exception but then again testament is not Human anymore and perhaps doesn't even have a biological sex anymore after it became a gear. It was never stated what gender testament was as a child.

To answer your question, the majority of people really don't care. Every game should represent as many people as possible not just white dudes.
I have never seen a troony in real life and i live in a big city in western europe. Also only see a black person every 3 weeks or so. But there's lots of arabshits in here and they have zero gaming representation.
