Don't get hit. That's what you use your infinite dodges for with their i-frames. Quen also lets you tank it if you still get hit. To say nothing about using an alchemy build to make Geralt completely broken. 2 did difficulty much better

its a linear straightforward story that doesnt branch at all with purely cosmetic choices of which side you pick. it does translate into your w3 playthrough so thats neat
w2 seems like an unappreciated underdog but honestly all the good stuff is there >smooth combat >skill tree instead of 2deep4u w1 progression >cinematics >improved controls >overall a short casual experience

the combat + gameplay is just straight up bad, like there everything about it is just bad bad, not a single good thing about it, riding Roach is a complete nightmare without mods, and the open world is not even good, when you open up a map and see 200 question marks already waiting for you, thats not exploration thats just chores. I wont spoil anything but the story is so incredibly stretched out and takes too much time away from the most important character (Ciri), it goes like so "Geralt ill give you info but first you must do like 7 quests for me" "ok" "gives info" "move to next place, repeat"
Admittedly there are some good parts about the game for sure, some characters are well done, the dlcs are better than the main story, it also has one of the best villains in gaming for sure, Ciri is really well done and you feel the impact you can give to her. If you really wanna play W3 just buy it on sale or pirate it, and go into it with the expectation that you'll fall asleep most of the time playing it

it's a great game, but if you try to be completionist about the map filler instead of doing the real quests it will quickly start to get boring
once you unlock rend the game completely falls apart. you can infinitely stunlock everything and it goes through blocks and parries and you can cancel dodges and parries into rend
When I ran the game on my RX580 at 4k, it was 30FPS.
It's since been updated with RTX elements. Take that as advice. :^)

No. Only Witcher 1 is an actually GOOD game, and a proper ROLE-playing game.
