All the Xeno games spring off from finding that alien artifact in the African river that always kicks off similar events, but only Blade and Saga are canonically linked, Gears and X are just heavily implied.
I am glad there is no strong connection because Xenoblade is legitimate garbage in both story and gameplay and Gears is purely loved because of nostalgia.
>"No, it does not. Shortly after finishing Xenogears, Takahashi realized he had basically written himself into a corner: too many of the choices he made for Xenogears wouldn't fit with the way he wanted to do the other episodes, or more appropriately his vision had evolved to the point that the parts that were now already stuck in place in Gears were no longer compatible with the rest of his vision." >"Xenosaga was his answer to this problem, a complete reconstruction of the universe from the ground up, keeping various visuals as an homage to Gears but in an entirely new universe that's very different from what he had conceived for the Gears universe."
They wrote the concept together, we have no way of knowing who was responsible for what. Then the script to the actual game was adapted from that concept by a bunch of people including Masato Kato of Chrono Trigger fame.
except terrible in every way and replacing a sympathetic yet deadly MC with a b***hy whiny foid who betrays the party for wiener was the worst mistake of all
Idk
yes, connected through their lame shittiness
Technically yes. It's a real shame they stopped making xeno games after saga 3.
They are probably connected about as much as the DLC in Xenoplade 3 tried to connect to Xenosaga 3. Lazily and loosely to the point its "who cares?".

why is he black and she's white?
He's tan-Asian, anon.
ChinkBlack person surname,
so he is a chinkBlack person ofc
It goes, Xenoblade->Xenosaga->Xenogears as far as chronology but they're not technically connected except by Wave Existence/Zohar/The Conduit.

Xenoblade X is the best Xeno-game.
Xenogears is my favorite JRPG of all time still but I don't ever bring it up here because zoomers honestly don't deserve it.
I for one am glad you don't bring it up, you sound like a b***h to talk to
and you sound like a lispy butthurt homosexual
Are you afraid that the zoomers will bring up the dungeons in disc 2 and how they are the worst things ever created? Cause they're right.
yesnt
For all intents and purposes, no.

his wife wrote the story to xenogears

Yes, Xenosaga is a legally distinct retelling of Xenogears Episode 1
except terrible in every way and replacing a sympathetic yet deadly MC with a b***hy whiny foid who betrays the party for wiener was the worst mistake of all
Wait who's the sympathetic yet deadly MC you are referencing.
in name only
Xenoblade 3's DLC name dropped Xenosaga and Xenogears stuff in Alvis' memories of Earth, so maybe.
After Earth fuses and returns into phase with the rest of the universe you see KOSMOSdrifting back to the planet in the final cutscene
Yeah that's KOSMOS or Elma or Elma is just a future revision of KOSMOS to revive an old X theory.
The ultimate anti troon game
it's all connected through whatever zohar bullshit the licensing departments will allow Takahashi that month
no
Take place in the same world but are like thousands of years apart, so it really doesn't matter.
