those are just numbers. the ps4 is in fact incredible. i can't believe how well recent games perform. RE ViIIage run and looked incredible. Elden Ring run decently but that's still impressive considering it stutters like shit on PC.

I just recently installed an SSD and updated my CFW, but now WebmanMod causes black screen freezes when launching any game or homebrew. Haven't figured out what's causing it yet

sounds like the contacts are dirty and need a wash, or there's something stuck inbetween the D-pad and the contact that's making it happen

This is a common problem with PS3 controllers. The ribbon cables that connects the main board to another sub board is kept in by pressure mvia a piece of rubber. They cheapened out and did not use a socket.
Rubber shrinks over time and you get intermittent d-pad presses, and other buttons. Cleaning it can fix it temporarily but the permanent fix is to make the rubber thicker with sticky paper/adhesive.
I've been using it to play the Raidou games this weekend, so yes. Disk drive hasn't worked in years and I can't be assed to replace it.

ACVD is completely dead, you're not getting any luck trying to get into a random faction or whatever
if you want higher populations, play the Japanese region of the game, since EU and US versions share servers, but JP does not
if you like ACVD i would thoroughly reccomend continuing with the rest of the Armored Core series, since there's 3 distinct gameplay styles (1st-3rd Gen, 4th Gen and 5th Gen, the latter of which you're playing now) that you might enjoy.

I just migrated all of the data to a 1TB 7200 RPM HDD without losing CFW. I use it mostly for the exclusives while my PS TV handles most emulation, PSP and PS1.

I sold mine to a friend for 50 bucks, the only thing i kept was a controller so i could use it on my PC. There's no real point on keeping one these days when RPCS3 handles most of the catalog perfectly, maybe for HD PS1 and PS2 games but maintaining a FAT model is a hassle.

So I have that awesome problem where when you boot it up it says system is corrupted press x to fix. You press x, screen either goes black or it just loops back into the same error screen as before. It's usually an easy fix, just slap open the safe menu and there's multiple solutions to fix it in there. However, whenever I pick any of them it fricking freezes the system and won't do anything. I've tried putting the HDD in HDD regenerator, it found a bad partition and said it was fixed. I then cloned it to a new HDD and jack fricking squat nothing worked. I REALLY DON'T WANT TO format but at this point idk what else to fricking do. Thanks for cumming to my blog.

this does work, I just applied two layers of duck tape beneath the connectors and the controller is still working

Last time I used it to play GT5 sometime in like 2021 and it was fine. Even my save file from 2013 didn't succumb to bit rot.
