im mad stuck as the gormad rn im trying to find looks to moon, thought id remember the route enough from og, but man i dont know what the FRICK im doin. i just left the 'pipeworks' and entered the 'sky islands' fuuuuuuck
>>You're on the entirely opposite side of the map.
i figured as much >> Go east. >east you straight fibbin, i been going east for ages, i could of sworn she was closer to the green industrial area where standard slugcat starts his jorney
East corresponds to right, correct? I may've gotten the direction wrong. Either way, go to the right. Moon is closer to where Gourmand starts than where Survivor starts.
Andrew: We had an idea for a creature that never got implemented, some gigantic spider-like creature whose body you never really get a full view of.
Andrew: It would appear randomly as a rare encounter, in many rooms in the game that had bottomless pits in them.
Andrew: You would just see its spindly legs coming up from out of the pit to try to grab you and pull you down.
Andrew: In an old halloween teaser, we actually shared a spooky image of this thing's legs peeking up from the bottom of the screen, but I don't think anyone realized it, or thought those were anything more than some plants or roots or something.
at least one more expansion is basically confirmed in their explanation of the price change
I hate this game
V convinces me to install is every 6 months or and I realise it's garbage in 10 minutes
The slug handles like shit
youre kinda not wrong that slugcat handles like shit. there is logic to it but it's hard to figure out. once you're over that hump the game is actually not that hard though imo (just sometimes annoying with enemy spawns)
I went from industrial complex to chimney canopy to the wall. I tried ascending the wall for a while and thought that I the game is too hard for me. I liked it alot so I checked some hints and they all had tips how to descend the wall not ascend it so I was like wtf. Turns out I didnt get that you can follow the yellow dude for some kind of optimal route. I hate backtracking so I'm going to give it another try because I really enjoy the combat and controls in this game.
A good game and it can kick idiota like me in the dick.
But is the other route less of a brute force? I mean the game apparently has multiple routes but ascending the wall seems to need many things to click and come together to work. Also, do I miss anything if I just go up the wall? I don't mind trying, because killing those worms is a lot of fun.
The hard route is the kino route. The wall is difficult, but a breeze compared to the other way. If you take the wall, you'll basically be experiencing the set piece in reverse, and not e even all of it, at that, since I consider the full trek through the superstructure you're on part of the kino
For me it was shoreline. God I hated that place then, but now when I was going to revisit Moon it felt like a breeze, hell even the leeches got nothing on me. (but goddamn the vultures still do if they catch me out on the waves.)
rain world is one of my fav games ever but im kinda surprised someone would already feel that way that early into the game. what method did you use to get through shaded? i just abused the in-game map
I just "liked" up until I got to 5P, then it got to me. How did they even program the whole 5P structure to make it look so aesthetically complex and alien while also being supposedly procedurally animated? That shit is straight up magic to me. Really flared up my ol' childlike self back when I was still amazed by technology and vidya
you have to take care of them and they can technically help you fight but you probably don't want them to because they might get hurt. There's no penalty to them dying other than you being a heartless monster. There's also a passage for safely sleeping in a shelter with them ala The Friend
I'm glad for you. Now frick off to avoid spoilers.

Nope. No way. There's a reason you linked that instead of posting it, and I do not want to be the one to figure out what it is.
It's a very juicy slugcat
slugussy
Do you have one of spearmaster?
I COULD paint one, but it'd be tricky, this one took me a bunch of hours to make.
I've got plenty of time to wait on if that ever occurs

Sounds like you are just bad at the game, friendo
A distinct possibility
It will click at some point. There's lots of semi hidden movement mechanics to master. He can be quite agile
rainworld shill extremely active this week
how many threads are you up to?

The wall is easiest path to where you need to go. It's hard but you just need to brute force it.

Thanks for the tip, I'll start the game over at some point.
This game is okay, but if this is one of your top 5 games ever you really need to play more games.
you either get it or you don't, i guess you don't
Post your top 5
I am in the Sunken Pier, near to the outer expanse. Whats the nearest shelter in the expanse?
For me it was shoreline. God I hated that place then, but now when I was going to revisit Moon it felt like a breeze, hell even the leeches got nothing on me. (but goddamn the vultures still do if they catch me out on the waves.)

Me too. That's when I went from "this game is cool" to "holy shit"
>wew a rope
>it's magik
I'm joking, OFC.
Playing the new campaigns in chronological order is kino
Do slug pups spawn on playthroughs i've already started, or do I need to start fresh to see them?
It's hard to tell because they're pretty rare as is. Continuing gourmand seems to give you a guaranteed pair if you wanna play with them though.
Sauce?
I love artsy layered little postcard shit like this.
do the pups do anything or are they just a flavour thing
you have to take care of them and they can technically help you fight but you probably don't want them to because they might get hurt. There's no penalty to them dying other than you being a heartless monster. There's also a passage for safely sleeping in a shelter with them ala The Friend
getting a passage is a fair enough use i suppose. no like quest or larger purpose or anything though right?
There is. All I'll say is survivor is especially fond of them.
taking the kids to the beach for a nice warm dip in the void sea!
>go west, through the underground tunnels at the outskirts of my territory
He means subterranean right?
for gourdman? subterranean then keep going west
if it's just regular survivor then yes but then down
