god damn does game freak need to get their performance sorted out. it's unity shovelware levels of poor optimization. They clearly tried as shadows of buildings disappear as you pan the camera around, but that makes me think the culling is too extreme, and I'm thinking a lot of the character and mon models are actually too good for the switch to handle.

Regardless of what you may feel about the story, at least it has one and does a better job at making the characters likeable. All in all having low expectations is probably the main reason I liked it but I still can't justify spending money on it
