As an actual Metroid fan, this game was a huge fricking disappointment.
Soulless is the perfect way to describe nearly every aspect of it...the map design, the atmosphere, the audio, the combat... it all just felt so dialed in and forgettable.
I would rather play through OG Metroid 2 or Fusion before playing through this again.
