The xbox and PS5 made me buy a pc. I'm running a 3090 and 5800x3d. I don't' think I'll consider a console again to be honest. Between all the homosexualry pushed and the lame games released I see no real reason for them anymore.

I prefer playing on PS5 until I wanna play an older game, in which I go to my PC. I have a 3070ti but use my ps5 for newer titles. I got Dead Space remake on PC and that ran well and was fun, but the ps5 is just comfy.
Genuinely, PC ports this last year have been consistently poor. Every game I almost bought on PC ended up having insanely bad performance at launch >Elden Ring (bought on Series S) >Star Ocean 6 (PS5) >Callisto Protocol (PS5)
And now Dead Space remake has performance issues but I think I got lucky and it was only some slight performance hits, nothing unplayable-tier.

Didn't play calisto protocol. So I can't comment on that one, but Star ocean and elden ring ran really well on my pc. I bought a 3090 to set games to 4k and sometimes forget it and that has mostly been the case. I also don't plan on buying dead space So I can't comment on that one either sorry.
I mean PC is definitely superior for genres like RTS, MMOs, and CRPGs but those are quite niche. Even most shooters nowadays are made with console in mind. Publishers are also very lazy with PC ports and it seems like this issue is getting worse. Then factor in denuvo which is killing both performance and piracy. For some people it just might make more sense to spend $400-$500 on a PlayStation or Xbox, when they’re not even going to take advantage of most of the benefits of PC gaming anyway.

Truth in this. PC is like android. You can find phones from a wide variety of prices, cheap or very expensive, that are tailor-made to something very specific (autistic). A PS5 would be like an iPhone - less variety, technically less powerful, but the applications (games) take more advantage of the hardware, they are designed to do this one thing very well and for your everyday consumer they find more bang for their buck.

I had a great 2022, so I bought both this and a Steam Deck. I play the Seam Deck way more, but no complaints about the PS5 so far, especially since I was able to scale a lot of my PS4 games up.

you can easily CP2077 with lower end hardware if you turn down settings, and nowadays upscalers help as well. a gtx1060 can run the game at 60fps now.

I had a great 2022, so I bought both this and a Steam Deck. I play the Seam Deck way more, but no complaints about the PS5 so far, especially since I was able to scale a lot of my PS4 games up.

The only reason PCGaming had a revival was because all console manufacturer collectively shat themselves last gen while Nvidia was starving and sold midrange GPUs at $300.
It's funny how my ethnicty changes every time I say I own a PS5. One day I'm black, the next day I'm indian, then a Hispanic and so on
