BG3 is very gay, but wasn't Link a crossdresser in BotW? He has some pretty gay looking outfits in ToTK too. Both games are fricking dogshit by the way. ToTK and BotW ruined Zelda and turned it into open world diarrhea, and BG3 is just dumbed down Divinity with homosexuals and a bear frickers. Frick both your games you slop eating morons.
Using the exact same structure is much worse. Still 4 shitty “dungeons“ in the corners of the map. Still shitty 5 minute shrines for adhd zoomies littered across the map. Still korok seeds. Still the same combat except now you can create goofy combos but it doesn‘t change a single weapon moveset or how you play at all. Menuing cancer cranked up to 100. Oh but now there‘s a bunch of caves that are procedurally generated and the depths that‘s so devoid of meaningful content that it might aswell be procedurally generated
This was the actual problem. They treated TotK as if they were remaking botw to it's full potential instead of a new game in the same map/engine. It seems like an admirable goal at first until you realize everyone already played botw so even if you upgrade and expand it, it feels like a rehash
Hard for me to say since I don't know what it feels like to experience TotK first but I'm still inclined to say BotW. It's much more focused and coherent

No good Zelda game since 2006,
SS was an abomination and then 6 year wait,
botw was great but then 6 more years,
Totk a fricking dlc with the same map and horrific dungeons,
And now six more years for maybe a real Zelda game
90s were soul and my life was and will always be better than yours due to it
I also played good games, not the same game for 12 years straight like botw/Totk lmao
Yes it was cope it actually won GOTY in an stacked year like 2017 being the first japanese game to win GOTY at these shitty awards since resident evil 4 in 2005
>delay until 2024
Final Fantasy Seven Two Part Two >delay until 2025
GTA 6 >delay until 2026
The Elder Scrolls 6
You can't delay your way to a reward if your work sucks
A bigger mistake to reuse the same map and barely add any new things to kill. Also these fricking nu-gibdos are lame and they didn't even have the balls to make them undead.
Nope. >robots which were good but only somewhat common - and only thing that makes them stand out is their moveset is dependant on what they grab, which could be varied at times, but sometimes only basic b***h shit would be lying about >likelikes were welcome, but mainly found in only every other cave >monkey enemies, same as above and weren't too different from bokoblins & moblins >little frog fellas that were unremarkable, but could yield decent loot at least - had a solid boss variant >no new lynel tier enemy >ghibdo were cool but didn't amount to much, only found in the desert (which is fine but no other region had uniques)
100000%
They have absolutely no excuse for the amount of assets they recycled. They had all the resources in the world and had 6 years to make the game, and charged $70.
I can only conclude they decided to be lazy, because they knew a sequel to BotW would be a success no matter what. 6 years of fricking around.
I had no dog in this race. It would have been a bad message for any of the aaa games getting GotY in 2023, but I absolutely didn't want Spiderman2 to win anything, so that was nice, I guess.
This game could have been released a year later without the new gameplay mechanics like a dlc, and everyone would have bought it
The only thing that botw was missing was ganondrof but since it's nintendo they didn't want to release the same game without adding something that would justify a sequel if we follow the reasoning of Miyamoto twilight princes with the horses... etc.
breath of the wild has better gameplay scenarios and isn't as bloated, but if your only concern is the amount of shit to do in the game then yeah totk is "better"
I made a good fix removing remakes several threads ago but here's a version I threw together relevant to the topic, showing an accurate sales timeline. Rereleases only included if within 3 years of the original release.
Yeah, it's more like multiple little ones that add up to more than the other ones but it illustrates how many sales "failures" there are between each really succesful game. TOTK didn't do as well as BOTW and it's lost most of its momentum, and the Switch 2 will sell less then Switch 1 going by the usual Nintendo pattern so we could be entering another dark age for a while

>TOTK didn't do as well as BOTW and it's lost most of its momentum
nintendo already confirmed it's a massive success. Coping about the switch about to become the best selling console of all time by saying the switch too wont do as well is pathetic.
It was a mistake to use the same formula. All would have been forgiven if they gave us 8 water temple tier dungeons. Full map available from the start, make fast travel impossible, require travel by horse and later pegasus.
even with more and better dungeons the games would be too similar, the shrines have to go in the next one and they really really need to make a significant effort about enemy variety
Using the same map was a huge red flag but it would've been acceptable if they even had even 1/3 the content games like Elden Ring or fricking Fallout 4 or Skyrim have.
Instead it was largely the same enemies, minibosses, NPCs, weapons, the same exact structure of the game with shrines, no changes to the combat system, not even a single new weapon class with new animations.
The moment I saw the trailers and previews were showing nothing but the Gmod shit I knew this would be the worst case scenario of a lazy DLC tier sequel.
And despite fanboys claiming "they're hinding the real content to not spoil it, it's all in the depths", I was right to be wary.
The Depths were a total nothingburger of reused content including DLC armors for BOTW and grinding zonaite for batteries.
The Sky was actually new but was tiny and the biggest chunk of it was the tutorial.
That's the lesser issue of this game
Even with a completely new map it's still be disappointing as long as it keeps being a chore simulator
The game is too big for its own good and unless you're autistic you'll end your journey with a "that's it I'm bored of this game, time to fight Ganon and call it a day", which leaves you with meh impression even though Hyrule Castle is a fun dungeon
They shouldn't have tried to reuse the same formula. BotW was cool because it was a fresh take on the franchise and was a new experience to many. Making the same exact style of game ruins that, it ruined that expectation defying experience that BotW was for many. Hopefully Nintendo course corrects for the Switch 2 and makes a good game because TotK was a step in the wrong direction.
>it ruined that expectation defying experience that BotW was for many.
this
it's particularly disappointing because I remember an interview with aonuma where he said he was glad botw successfully challenged zelda conventions but that he was worried botw would now become the new convention, so I thought they were aware of that and the next game would be significantly different
instead there's never been a more similar sequel in the history of the franchise, it's baffling
It's amusing to think about, because what people wanted was essentially a Majora's Mask style shakeup. But they gave everyone a direct sequel instead, which is funny because after OoT every fan wanted OoT 2.0 but they got MM and WW instead and they got very vocal about how much they wanted OoT 2.0. They got what they wanted with TP but fans hadn't played a Zelda like that for years so they were okay with it. When Skyward Sword gave them more of the same, they did not like it. Meanwhile MM and WW are now both looked back upon very fondly despite not being received well at the time.
I think Zelda is at its best when it's trying to be it's own thing and shaking things up constantly. The franchise has been like that since Zelda 2, which is starting to see more love again in recent years. LttP was more of a return to form but the dual world was intriguing and new and added a lot to the exploration. OoT being in 3D was enough to make it stand out, even though it also used the dual world gimmick but framed it as time travel instead.
the mistake was praising botw so much when it was really more an 8.5/10 and people were so fricking desperate for a good nintendo game. totk was a really good game like 9.5/10, but the heaps upon heaps of praise for botw soured the taste and made totk feel like a DLC in comparison
TotK is weaker than BotW simply because after 6 years people had way more expectations than BotW 1.2
Also it costs $10 extra, fricking bullshit for how much recycled content it has.
botw was a mediocre ubisoft ripoff, totk was the real deal and the game nintendo wanted to make from the start, im sure aonuma is devastated it didnt win goty
BOTW has a cool post-post apocalypse setting where humanity is barely hanging on at the edges while autonomous doomsday weapons patrol around killing everything.

2017 will be the last time tendies win goty. Unless they get something new...
remember when ubisoft vaguely used the same topography for far cry primal and the entire gaming world started a crusade against le lazy corporations? This is what the nintendo bonus looks like.
Erica quick, your post got deleted!
And your other thread!
still kind of incredible they really thought it was ok to replace different types of arrows with manually selecting an object to attach to an arrow -every- time you want to fire a non-standard arrow, without so much as a simplified way of getting to what you need (ie "fire-element attachments", "water-element attachments")
like frick me that's inconvenient and they really thought it was fine

TOTK can't even keep up with Dark Souls 3 in terms of views, that's how hard people recoiled from only after 6 months for being a lazy rehash.
Mind you that DS3 is 7 years old now.
>twitch trash
TOTK outsold Dark Souls 3 entire lifetime sales after 3 days moronic troony. that should tell you how fricking irrelevant your shitty stats are
That being said, ToTK is still BoTW so if you haven't played BoTW yet somehow, you're likely never going to play it all now that ToTK exists. That's the disappointing part of this game, it's a large DLC instead really a new game.
It emulated nearly perfectly since before the game released.
Finished it on Ryujinx and the only obvious bug was a texture on the UI and certain rocks being too shiny, you can see it at the end of this webm.

Most bosses on ER were as good as DS3 DLC bosses and even those were far above the average BB flailing beast or dashspamming hunter boss.

Ludwig and Maria are great specifically because they're more in line in DS3 or ER bosses in complexity of moveset and aren't like the flailing pushovers in the base game.

No? Base BB bosses are fine with attack patterns that reward reaction rather than memorization, Dlc bosses follow the same routine, there's just more to react to. There's no holing the attack windup to trick people into rolling to kill them instantly like ds3 and er
Any decent sized weapon's charged attack will make the Tree Sentinel flinch backward and fall but only if you parry/posture break them before, otherwise the boss has an invisible wall preventing any of his attacks and movement from putting him over the edge.
Mraliketh, Mergit and other main bosses have safeguards against this, it would be a bit too much to just nuke endgame bosses with a cheese like this.
They flew thousands of miles because they were told they won an award, just to watch fricking Alan Wake 2 beat then 3-1. It's hilarious they even thought they had a chance against BG3 lmao
The question was about fanbases from the start, my friend

Even so, how are 2d mario gays a cancerous fanbase? I thought it was just the papergays
Most paper fans are fine from what I've seen (classic chads), but 2D gays got uppity recently and the New series was always overrated.

Uppity how exactly, because they got a new game? Papergays have been at war with each other for nearly a decade now, and since TTYD's getting a remake the seething has only increased

The only good thing about the game are the wings, because you can construct your plane and freely soar the sky or the depths, shoot rockets, prepare food... or they would be if they didn't disappear after only 40 seconds or so holy shit who was the idiot who decided that fricking moron
I have one of those Nintendo Switch vouchers and still don't want to play this fricking game. Six years for a recycled rehash with new features. Not interested. I got WarioWare and Pikmin instead.
Eh people were already tired of the “the world is empty in purpose” of botw. So doing it again was always the wrong move. They needed to go back to classic Zelda
>three different routes (excluding death, selunite MC and betrayal events) >character development >actual dialogues with animations
I don't feel so good, zeldabro.
this game kinda showed the fanbase is reaching pokemon tier of dumb where they can give you the same game with a few slightly different mechanics and you guys will eat it up and say >it wasnt that bad i had fun!
idiots all of you and you deserve all the bad things in life you get dont even think you dont for buying this
they make the same fricking threads every day, ttroony mods used to ban barneygay unique posting schizos like that but I guess they only give a shit when its vidya butts poster for some reason
I'm convinced Nintendo was working on a completely new Zelda game in parallel to ToTK. No fricking way such a low effort game took 6 years, and no way they'll leave Switch 2 without a Zelda game for another 5 years
If I recall they basically fricked about making the vehicles as the main DLC element for over a year, then eventually that looped into a full game. That took 2 to 3 years of dev and then the year before release the game was actually finished and they were just touching it up a little.
it is likely in production for the next hardware. however, i see nintendo as a strongly anti-consumer company now, so i don't think you should have high hopes for nintendo games going forward
releasing stuff like totk at full price is inexcusable, and i don't think people have the type of thought leadership we need in the video games industry as consumers, because there should be a strong refrain of that, instead of a chorus of people singing its praises.
nintendo buyers, quite unironically, have a sort of stockholm syndrome
they didn't do shit during that time because covaids
probably was suppose to come out 3 years after BoTW even in game it feels like 3 or 4 years have passed and then that government made virus happened so you have people not working for like 2 years
and then they delayed it probably to actually work on it again
I'm convinced Nintendo was working on a completely new Zelda game in parallel to ToTK. No fricking way such a low effort game took 6 years, and no way they'll leave Switch 2 without a Zelda game for another 5 years
I think that's what everyone's hoping for.
Aonuma lowkey confirmed they're working on an OoT remake anyway in a recent interview, so here's hoping that ToTK was just a DLC side-project from their B-team that got out of line while they went forward to work on the title they actually gave a frick about.
That's probably just wishful thinking though, knowing how absolutely shitty modern Nintendo is these days.
Exact same game with better graphics for 70 dollars and expect a Majoras mask remake following it. Also pay attention the sudden shift in public opinion of remakes being worthy of being called goty if that happens.
No way in hell is it going to be the same game. They already pulled that with the 3DS remasters and the game's far too outdated in numerous aspect, particularly when it comes to open-world design, questing and combat. It's far more likely to the the FF7R or RE:R treatment.
>Switch 2 >60FPS >Really, Really good graphics. Utilize the closed and simple world design to make absolutely beautiful locales without cutting performance. >Remaster the soundtrack with the same samples or instruments but a higher quality recording >Fix the bow controls
You have no fricking idea how good an OOT remake could look
Unlikely if Monster Hunter Wilds' reveal trailer was anything to go by. The rumors of the console's hardware being a souped-up PS4 are probably true.

What rumors are you talking about? For information on the switch 2 we have two sources
Firstly the Nvidia hack, which puts it around a PS4 pro with DLSS
Then we have the leaks from Eurogamer and VGC which says it was running the same demo the PS5 and XSX were running to show off their consoles.
Literally nothing is pointing to a "souped up PS4"

No. The switch 2 will be about 4-5x stronger than the PS4. That isn't a "suped up PS4"
The Switch 2 is most comparable to the Series S.

Anon, Nintendo hasn't even announced the fricking name of the console, you think Capcom would list their new console in the teaser if they had access to this info?
>How would an OOT remake even work? Are they just gonna give it a fancy touch up of graphics? Because Ship of Harkinian already fills that role.
Obviously not. They completely redid every single asset in the upcoming Paper Mario TTYD remake, and that will sell 1/15 what the OoT remake will. They'll redo everything from scratch in at least 2k resolution. The OoT remake will likely be one of the switch 2's biggest games, why would they cheap out there?
>why would they cheap out?
Because people will buy it anyway?

The difference in development cost between making a lazy OoT remake and an incredible one is a drop in the bucket compared to profit on it.
A lazy one probably costs them 20 million while a great one 80 million. So that's like 60 million dollars they're giving up. Well the game probably sells 20m copies, which is about 1 billion dollars in revenue for Nintendo. So you're talking about 980 million in profit vs 920 million in profit. And the better one probably sells more consoles.
Anyway Nintendo doesn't usually cheap out with their big games, it's the little ones they half ass like warioware or the mario sports titles.
I hope so, the fact Akallah citadel was still empty only with a shitty cave under it and lon lon ranch + the world being in ruin still after 6 in-game years just felt like I was playing that botw romhack called second wind or somethin. This game just reeks of a skeleton crew working on it. Are you gonna tell me that they made all of BOTWs world in 6 years, but they couldn't have been assed to make more than 1 biome for the depths or put any care at all into it's design and population? The whole idea of this game just feels fishy.
Tears Of The Kingdom is an astonishing achievement in game design.
One of the things which blows my mind is you can enter a Lookout tower and be instantly shot into the sky. Immediately you can see the entire expanse of the world, the draw distance disappearing over the horizon - without a hint of a loading screen.
That is fricking insane. I can't even go from room to room on my spaceship in Starfield without a loading screen. How in the name of Christ did Nintendo manage this on a toaster tablet?
And this technical wizardy barely registers on the player in amongst the incredible immersive dynamic systems and ridiculous complex attributes of Link's abilities.
It's easy to say that if another competent talented developer was given a decade of R&D and a bottomless pit of cash, they could turn in something similar. But no way in fricking hell would they ever get it running on a Nintendo Switch.
Tears Of The Kingdom is not only an outstanding fun and immersive video game, it's also a towering achievement in game design and coding mastery.
Honestly, this kind of post makes me appreciate games like Terraria even more.
>it's a marvel to be able to travel across an entire game world without loading screens, and yet Terraria has been doing it since 2011 >you can actually break your speed limit and travel without issue, and the whole world is just waiting for you. No weird loading screen crap or nothing. Even multiplayer worlds are generally all together without this intrusiveness
>the terrarian's abilities are all superior versions of Link's abilities, such as his chaos staff being a superior version of Link's ascend, or the Terraria just being a personified ultrahand, being able to build anything he wants
>Terraria doesn't bore you with cinematics or flashy graphics or spectacle, when you find a cool prize underground, you're not shoved into a 5 minute cutscene or a korok pooping in your hand. you open the chest, empty it, and go about your day, not even 2 seconds.
>speaking of, everything you find has value outside of its initial use, so if you have multiple hermes boots, use them for fashion, use them in crafting, or just sell them for money. It's amazing how this one QOL feature would've improved the sadly inferior korok seed.
>there doesn't need to be weak puzzles scattered around either, as the entire journey is one big puzzle. No magic fast travel for free, now wacky gmod vehicles. No, you have to build and earn every single bit of your exploration, and you will die quite a few times.
>enemies and bosses will be a part of that learning experience, being strong enough and varied enough to make it so you don't have to hold back. you'll be begging for max health and the highest tier armor because the game makes you earn your victory
>And re-logic did this on a budge of a ham sandwich!
Holy crap, how did they accomplish it? This game that's missing a Z axis far surpasses games that have 4 dimensions to them, nay, 5 or even 6. This game puts 10 dimensional games to shame.

>made the shitposter so mad he responded twice in the exact same way
basado?!
You're probably wondering why I bring up Terraria alot in a Zelda thread. Besides the reasons mentioned before, I think Zelda could be improved by learning from a few QOL features from Terraria. The comparisons basically write themselves. For example, one I touched upon is koroks versus Terraria chests. See, at some point in my playthrough of Zelda, I just couldn't be bothered to interact with koroks anymore. My inventory wasn't even close to being maxed out, and already they had become eyesores. That's because the puzzles aren't that fun to engage in, and the rewards aren't that good. Korok poop has exactly one function. That's it. When you stop caring about that function, you stop caring about koroks.
Compare that to finding items in Terraria. You will never pass up a chest simply because every item has a secondary use. The dirt itself can be repurposed into a multitude of ways. If you can't buiild with it, you can sell it, you can craft it, you can use it for anything. The items keep their usage long after you would need them for their initial purpose. Why coudln't koroks function similarly? Off the top of my head, make it so they never stop having a use. Even if you max out your inventory, have them unlock extra stuff. Maybe a korok exclusive store where you can buy one time items, like korok armor, or korok weapons that you can repair, maybe you could access special korok challenges against forest enemies. I'm just spitballing some suggestions here.
So don't think that I just brought it up for no reason. I have good reasoning to compare the two.
You bring up AC6 being a movie, but this highlights a major problem with BOTW and TOTK: for the touting of it being free and open and non-linear, the game has a bit too much of a problem with railroading the player at points. You HAVE to watch the intro cutscene, you HAVE to play the tutorial, you are not allowed any kind of movement options around this. Ironically, it would've been a fun challenge to find a way off the plateau without the glider, and now the whole game is a glider-less challenge. Imagine if you had to play the game without any of your major abilities. And I ask you, what would've been wrong with this? It's not like the player would be permanently locked out of them, just let them skip gaining them. You can always have them waiting for if they ever want to come back for the items.
Another issue is how they handled dungeons and divine beasts. These also do not fit the non-linear nature of the game. They MUST be tackled in one exact way, without any variance. Infact, being able to skip meeting Sidon on the way to Zora's domain is an abnormality, when it should be the norm. Riddle me this, is it possible to get the thunder helm from the yiga and get it back to the gerudo, BEFORE you meet their leader? You can actually access the Yiga clan hideout and the boss chamber before you even see the gerudo desert, but there's nobody there. The story has decided that they do not exist yet.
What would've been the problem with giving you multiple ways to approach this situation? TOTK didn't learn from this, and makes it even worse with your companions who need to be glued to you. The wind ship is a perfect example, incase any of you reached there before the story officially allowed it.
The reason I don't condemn AC6 for being linear is because it's not an open world game. It didn't advertise itself as such. Even then it stil gives you a ton of agency. Terraria gives you agency too, although you must still follow progression to an extent.
yeah it needed air flowing up for the Rito, a bunch of water for Zora, and sand dunes for gerudo
I liked the Goron area because it provided actual challenge for getting around that wasn't just gloom
The depths was a mistake tbh. the best part about the depths was the volcano area because it looked different
The concept was fine, but yeah. Too few enemies with almost 0 variety, and almost 0 variety of biomes. Closest we got was beneath gerudo and Gordonia. Everything else was samey same-same with some mines and ponds.
>invert the map 1:1 >turn the lights off >against all logic, somehow make an EVEN EMPTIER version of hyrule that is 10x more of a slog to get through >get praise for this innovative "doubling" of content
i was straight up picrel reading the online consensus on the depths after finishing tears
What worship you deranged schizoid?
Nobody gives a shit about Final Fantasy 16 it was a shit boring game and the next numbered entry will flop even harder.
People only care about FF7 to the point it may as well be its own franchise.
I don't get why they couldn't have just expanded the map much like other open world games do? why reuse a lot the same exact assets? It doesn't make sense to do that. Doesn't matter at the end of the day, I guess.
TOTK isn't even in top 5 of 2023. Here is a list of games from this year alone that mog it:
Armored Core 6
Baldur's Gate 3
Resident Evil 4
Like a Dragon Gaiden
Lies of P
Phantom Liberty
I knew it was gonna suck from the announcement that they were reusing the same map. Fricking morons wanted to believe the Nintendo magic cope so hard that they would somehow make it a worthwhile experience even if you’ve already played botw to death like most people at this point.
The reason they reused the map was most likely so that they could get the next game out faster by splitting the dev team. Basically, while some parts of the BotW team worked on TotK, other parts started on TotK. That way they can get the next Zelda out in good time to benefit their next console (like 4 years into its life) while also getting this extra game for the switch. I think that looking back it will make a lot of sense.
People keep saying the map is reused but when I actually played it the only reused parts I actually noticed were the swirly beach thing and the labyrinths, it feels like a forced complaint..
Even bigger mistake is making the underworld just and inversal of the main map
I seriously expected them to make an intricate cave system, like a one big dungeon from a dungeon crawler
I'm 99% certain that they delayed the game a year because the switch 2 got pushed back a year and during that year since they had extra time they made the underground. I don't believe it was always supposed to be there and that's why it's lacking in content compared to the rest of the game.
You get sky islands, a massive central one at that and a whole new underground the size of Hyrule, literally hundreds of hours of exploration. Also I highly doubt anyone explored Hyrule in its entirety in BOTW but now thanks to Zonai constructs you can explore it as it was meant to be.
Yeah, TOTK sucked, and this is coming from someone who's a life long Zelda fan and loved BOTW (and even SS, for that matter)
No. All of those are problems too but the map being the same is the biggest problem. "A whole new underground" kek it's way too big to bother exploring, there are a few cool sections but other than that its the same shit. Sky islands are few and far between and also extremely samey.
I had no drive to explore anything in TOTK because I already did it all for like 250 hours with BOTW.
>kek it's way too big to bother exploring
Most of it isn't really worth exploring anyways.
The fact that it's 99% the same enemies from BotW except they're glowing red is a fricking joke.
nope, the mistake was not putting 8-12 dungeons scatered around the world, not having 50 types of enemies, not having bosses, not having hookshots, but instead having shitty breaking weapons
I unironically would've preferred a smaller remade Termina map than slightly different Hyrule.
FPBP
first game was shit
the second one was shit as well
no different from ubislop
Why? Saves development costs while also selling billions of copies to braindead nintendo consumers. Seems like a win/win.
mistakes were made
Frick Baldur's Gate... but I'm so glad it kicked the shit out of TOTK. It honestly deserved it
Odd and subhuman cope.

Frick both your games you slop eating morons.
eat it
dark age demon.
Begone you foul balrog.
Neither TOTK nor BG3 are woke. The only big woke game was Spider-Man 2 and it got shafted at TGA and flopped on its face.
>It honestly deserved it
BG3 as well.
kek & lel
Why is elden ring here
I heard TOTK ran away from ER in 2022 and met BG3 in 2023.
>dodged Elden Ring only to get BTFO by Baldurs Gate 3 a year later
Fricking hilarious
It's like comedy.
Was it hubris and complacency?
What's a knight anyway?
>he doesn't know
Well, when you have mainstream journos suck your wiener with articles like pic related, no wonder they thought their game was gonna sweep again.
Prophetic kek
All of those replies are eric samegayging, try again
Damn, bings are humiliated
If I haven't played either, which would you recommend?
Hard for me to say since I don't know what it feels like to experience TotK first but I'm still inclined to say BotW. It's much more focused and coherent
>botw to it's full potential
BotW is the better game. Fuse and Ultrahand ruin Tears. Everything is built around constantly using those shit abilities.
Does this mean I'm going to find TotK amazing if I never played BotW?
See
BotW for better or worse is a lot more streamlined. New abilities in ToTK involve a lot of jank and menu'ing. It becomes pretty tedious
>LE WEAPON MOVESET LE COMBAT
fromtrannies are truly insufferable
>nuzeldadrone hates good gameplay and wants more chores to do
What a shocker lmao.
6 years
Majors mask took 1.5years
No good Zelda game since 2006,
SS was an abomination and then 6 year wait,
botw was great but then 6 more years,
Totk a fricking dlc with the same map and horrific dungeons,
And now six more years for maybe a real Zelda game
I'll be fricking 40 dude
I was 21 when ss came out
Maybe it's time to die, old man.
90s were soul and my life was and will always be better than yours due to it
I also played good games, not the same game for 12 years straight like botw/Totk lmao
Why are you even there if you didn't like a single game in 20 years? Maybe time to find a new hobby.
>botw was great
was it?
Yes it was cope it actually won GOTY in an stacked year like 2017 being the first japanese game to win GOTY at these shitty awards since resident evil 4 in 2005
nope, 6 years of denial for a game that was literally just a ubisoft ripoff on a nintendo platform
yeah if you like open world ubislop
>walk around green field at 1 mile per hour and fight a goblin with a sword that explodes into blue glitter after 4 swins
No.
Don't worry, the vax will have killed you by then.
>SS was an abomination
It was fun and has best Zelda.
If they just delayed it to 2024 it would have been an easy GOTY for them.
>gets mogged by Shadow of the Erdtree
Oof. that would be hilarious.
Shadow of the Erdtree will mog no one, lmao.
I will bet my left nut that it will be worse than Xenoblade DLC.
From Software DLC is so overrated its always the same thing, 3 new maps 3 new bosses some weapons and voila wrap it up.
They would lose against FF7 Rebirth.
>delay until 2024
Final Fantasy Seven Two Part Two
>delay until 2025
GTA 6
>delay until 2026
The Elder Scrolls 6
You can't delay your way to a reward if your work sucks
A bigger mistake to reuse the same map and barely add any new things to kill. Also these fricking nu-gibdos are lame and they didn't even have the balls to make them undead.
>barely add any new things to kil
wasn't the biggest complaint about botw it having like ten enemies? did they really not fix that in the dlc?
Nope.
>robots which were good but only somewhat common - and only thing that makes them stand out is their moveset is dependant on what they grab, which could be varied at times, but sometimes only basic b***h shit would be lying about
>likelikes were welcome, but mainly found in only every other cave
>monkey enemies, same as above and weren't too different from bokoblins & moblins
>little frog fellas that were unremarkable, but could yield decent loot at least - had a solid boss variant
>no new lynel tier enemy
>ghibdo were cool but didn't amount to much, only found in the desert (which is fine but no other region had uniques)
>no argument
No, the spam has gone on for too long.
Why are you such a subhuman?
Arthur, you lost. Don't have a nice day please. I'm sure botw 3 will win GOTY
>Arthur
Who?
Take your meds, schizo.
buy an ad next time
apply for a janny next time
>some literal who
When will matthewmatosis review this game?
Probably never. I remember when it was first announced that Nintendo will be reusing the same world back in 2019 he sounded disappointed.
Is the Akira art his own work or did he steal that?
It was a mistake to reuse the same game
100000%
They have absolutely no excuse for the amount of assets they recycled. They had all the resources in the world and had 6 years to make the game, and charged $70.
I can only conclude they decided to be lazy, because they knew a sequel to BotW would be a success no matter what. 6 years of fricking around.
Umm actually they took so long because of uhhhhhhhhhh....... *checks notes*
covid
Odd how that complaint never applies to other games.
Almost like it is an artificial buzzword used by chinks.
Dzi Tirs of de kingdom edz un deeledze de Bret of de waild entondzedz twalait prindzedz edz un deeledze de ocarina.
EXTREME levels of projection, my schizo friend.
Lariantrannies were SEETHING in that thread and it got deleted.
After they cried about being victims.
All of that is true, why are they so thin-skinned?
>says the one seething for nearly 3 days straight
Say the name again!
Weird how thin-skinned lariantrannies are.
So? Views are for movies, that's a fact.
>two homosexuals calling each other made up first names
good thread you stupid fricking Black folk
Frick off Arthur no one is falling for your samegayging.
have a nice day
you first, tendie
Who?
Take your meds, schizo
Isn't that an ironic food image? Isn't Baldur's gate praised to be a game packed full of content without the need of DLC?
Queen Elizabeth cursed TotK confirmed
I had no dog in this race. It would have been a bad message for any of the aaa games getting GotY in 2023, but I absolutely didn't want Spiderman2 to win anything, so that was nice, I guess.
This game could have been released a year later without the new gameplay mechanics like a dlc, and everyone would have bought it
The only thing that botw was missing was ganondrof but since it's nintendo they didn't want to release the same game without adding something that would justify a sequel if we follow the reasoning of Miyamoto twilight princes with the horses... etc.
Zelda tear of the tendie
if I haven't played Breath of the wild, would this just be the better one to play of the 2?
no
breath of the wild has better gameplay scenarios and isn't as bloated, but if your only concern is the amount of shit to do in the game then yeah totk is "better"
I think being able to do a everything the first game did and much more is very important to most people.
thank you anon
I wasn't expecting a genuine answer
Why don't we play this game with the word 'erictrany'?
if we want to be optimistic, I would say that this game was made by a B team and that the real zelda is being developed on switch 2!
>800 hours in-game
>This game fricking sucks
Zelda is back at the top again after nearly 15 years of mediocre irrelevance and Ganker is SEETHING. 8 years. of it.
>18 games
Is this so called slop?
>mediocre irrelevance
But I thought every Zelda game was a masterpiece, Arthur?
>Arthur
Who?
Your schizo boogieman isn't real.
This chart is kind of bad because it includes remakes and rereleases
I made a good fix removing remakes several threads ago but here's a version I threw together relevant to the topic, showing an accurate sales timeline. Rereleases only included if within 3 years of the original release.
Forgot to attach image
>makes the dark age hole bigger
>pshh nothing personnel
How many screenshots of these failed thread to do you have?
cute and canon
Reusing the same map wasn’t a mistake because it literally started as DLC. The mistake was waiting 6 years and releasing as a sequel instead.
Erica, you lost.
Arthur you lost goty
Who?
Your boogieman doesn't exist, take your meds.
you seem upset, Arthur
It was a mistake to use the same formula. All would have been forgiven if they gave us 8 water temple tier dungeons. Full map available from the start, make fast travel impossible, require travel by horse and later pegasus.
>fast travel impossible
>in ToTK
are you out of your fricking mind, there's like 5 places to get out of the The Depths without Fast Travel
water temple was the worst one wtf
even with more and better dungeons the games would be too similar, the shrines have to go in the next one and they really really need to make a significant effort about enemy variety
I can't believe Queen Elizabeth died for this.
TotK was lots of fun and improved many aspects of botw anyway.
Lmao mods allow this blatant intra-thread crossposting? This is instigating a flamewar 101. MODS ban this homosexual right now.
I've noticed that the more they try to push a romance between Link and Zelda, the worse the LoZ game is.
Any one else notice that or is it just me?
You're absolutely right. The games which barely have her in it are the best games.
>Wojak
Didn't read
Erica, that cope won't save you.
>Wojak
Immediately read
Op's a loser post Gerudo girls also Zora and Mineru are welcome.
That's the lesser issue of this game
Even with a completely new map it's still be disappointing as long as it keeps being a chore simulator
The game is too big for its own good and unless you're autistic you'll end your journey with a "that's it I'm bored of this game, time to fight Ganon and call it a day", which leaves you with meh impression even though Hyrule Castle is a fun dungeon
see
Not a new IP, kek.
I agree with this. Every other "criticism" is snoynygger seethe
OoT being in 3D was enough to make it stand out, even though it also used the dual world gimmick but framed it as time travel instead.
>skyward sword was more of the same
You don't know what you're talking about. Opinion discarded.
the mistake was praising botw so much when it was really more an 8.5/10 and people were so fricking desperate for a good nintendo game. totk was a really good game like 9.5/10, but the heaps upon heaps of praise for botw soured the taste and made totk feel like a DLC in comparison
see
TotK is weaker than BotW simply because after 6 years people had way more expectations than BotW 1.2
Also it costs $10 extra, fricking bullshit for how much recycled content it has.
botw was a mediocre ubisoft ripoff, totk was the real deal and the game nintendo wanted to make from the start, im sure aonuma is devastated it didnt win goty
>fromslop
>good gameplay
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA OH NO NO NO NO NO NO
Not whoever you were responding too the pre ds3 from games do have good gameplay. Elden smegma is slop thoughever
Even ER's combat is better than BOTW/TOTK's.
Wrong and troony-pilled.
should i just skip the first game and go straight to this if i havent played either?
Nah I liked BOTW. TOTK is a genuine downgrade.
BOTW has a cool post-post apocalypse setting where humanity is barely hanging on at the edges while autonomous doomsday weapons patrol around killing everything.
Wrong and troony-pilled.
I WARPED you.
Spider snoy 2 lost so actually I mutilated you.
2017 will be the last time tendies win goty. Unless they get something new...
>NintendCHADS don't have to worry about receiving woke slop since that's all that wins at TGA
feelsgoodman
Isn't zelda woke?
mc is a sissy homosexual
princess is a quin
nu-zelda is ESG approved
Yeah botw had troony shit in it. That's why it won. Totk lost because it wasn't woke
How can a mute character be a sissy?
Um, did you forget BOTW?
Erica quick, your post got deleted!
And your other thread!
;_;
Explain how Elden Ring is woke slop.
>Tranime
I was going to explain but now i no longer feel i have to since i'm responding to a subhuman
There should have been tons more outfits and weapons. Its a fricking travesty that there was only like three new weapons.
still kind of incredible they really thought it was ok to replace different types of arrows with manually selecting an object to attach to an arrow -every- time you want to fire a non-standard arrow, without so much as a simplified way of getting to what you need (ie "fire-element attachments", "water-element attachments")
like frick me that's inconvenient and they really thought it was fine
There isn't a button hotkey to use your last attachment again?
You can just tap the button.
It brings up the menu
>The Legend of Zelda by Larian
Thoughts?
>everybody is either a Black person or troony
Ew, frick off.
Just like TOTK?
Horrible. FF would be a good for them though. Anything is better than Yoshitpiss slop
>FF would be a good for them though.
Game design-wise BG3/DOS2 and BOTW/TOTK are pretty close. FF series is a mess right now.
idc because we got more botw zelda and she is the cutest.
>filename
have a nice day snoy. sony has been shit since the ps3
it was meant to be sarcastic for a different thread years ago, chill.
I.. I see it.
eat shit and die cadogay
Wtf is going on with this? What are you seeing?
the shadow people. Eric has been inserting them into his images
The PS5 is still a better console than the Nintendie Shitch
>ps5
>a console with zero games
sasuga eric. Need me to show you the PS2 2001 holiday lineup so you can see how far your beloved snoy has fallen?
remember when ubisoft vaguely used the same topography for far cry primal and the entire gaming world started a crusade against le lazy corporations? This is what the nintendo bonus looks like.
Zelda always makes reviewers go insane for one (1) month, then they get over their high and realize it's not god's gift to mankind.
not GOTY sorry
TOTK can't even keep up with Dark Souls 3 in terms of views, that's how hard people recoiled from only after 6 months for being a lazy rehash.
Mind you that DS3 is 7 years old now.
>views
Are for moviegames.
People watch streams for the gameplay.
If they want cutscene compilations they look on youtube.
Nope, they want to watch movies with their favorite ecelebs.
There is a reason the "just talking" category is by far the biggest.
>twitch trash
TOTK outsold Dark Souls 3 entire lifetime sales after 3 days moronic troony. that should tell you how fricking irrelevant your shitty stats are
>TOTK outsold Dark Souls 3 entire lifetime sales after 3 days moronic troony.
GTA5 has sold more than the entire series combined two times.
So? What does that has to do with your moronic post? GTA 5 is on 6 different consoles. kek
It only exists because they refused the map. If they started out with making a new Hyrule it would've been a completely different game
BoTW was great, ToTK is BoTW but better.
That being said, ToTK is still BoTW so if you haven't played BoTW yet somehow, you're likely never going to play it all now that ToTK exists. That's the disappointing part of this game, it's a large DLC instead really a new game.
How does it emulate now?
Always ran well.
Thanks
It emulated nearly perfectly since before the game released.
Finished it on Ryujinx and the only obvious bug was a texture on the UI and certain rocks being too shiny, you can see it at the end of this webm.
Nononononono DELETE THIS right FRICKING now! FBI! Help!
Looks boring. Can't you shove this homie somewhere?
Pushing or parrying bosses over ledges is somehing only possible in kino games.
Xenoblade did it better.
>Xenoblade
I puke because of its gameplay.
>Elden slop
>kino
Miss me with that open world shit. Bosses are a far cry from the quality of BB as well
Most bosses on ER were as good as DS3 DLC bosses and even those were far above the average BB flailing beast or dashspamming hunter boss.
>Shitting on ludwig and maria
Zoomie zoom zoomer. Ds1 is still the best one and you will seethe forever
Which weapon? Could it even work on Farum Azula's boss? Whatever the cleric's real name was, I forgot.
Can't wait to emulate this once I win my Lenova Legion Go from VGA sweepstakes
>has generic seethe prepared
Good job proving me right.
Go back to cadoposting with zelinkop. I like that routine much more than this one.
See, another set of posts proving me right.
I couldn't tell at first if this was TotK or BotW. I would consider that proof enough not to buy this shit.
It's that Black person from pegasusnation.net lmao
Hopefully they realize that now
>sold amazingly
>great reception
What is the problem?
What did they realize?
"Our game is a huge critical, commercial success"?
They looked depressed when they lost at the game awards
Not really, you just took screenshots where they looked away from the camera, Erica.
They flew thousands of miles because they were told they won an award, just to watch fricking Alan Wake 2 beat then 3-1. It's hilarious they even thought they had a chance against BG3 lmao
reusing same map was fine, it taking 7 YEARS after botw is the mistake
The game should've taken place only in the depths
Arthur, you lost
Who?
Take your meds.
Why does this game series bring out the biggest scizos?
Snoys are just extremely mentally ill.
I think discussion of zelda should just be banned from Ganker in general. That would probably do a number on Arthur, Eric, and ACgay
Just give Nintendo games a separate board, combine it with /vp/ or something. Combine Sony games with Ganker too, frick it.
For 30-40 years people have put their life's worth on Zelda games, it is not allowed to die under any circumstance
It didn't used to be like this. Switch ruined a lot of fanbases. Pokemon, Kirby, Zelda, 2D Mario...
Good job proving me right that snoys are just hyper mentally ill.
You're only proving us right, though.
>bozo can't read
ESL-chan...?
Were you talking about the fanbases or the games themselves? If it was fanbases i'll take the L
The question was about fanbases from the start, my friend
And the sony fanbase is the worst, followed by thin skinned lariantrannies.
>dat coping deflection
Most paper fans are fine from what I've seen (classic chads), but 2D gays got uppity recently and the New series was always overrated.
Uppity how exactly, because they got a new game? Papergays have been at war with each other for nearly a decade now, and since TTYD's getting a remake the seething has only increased
Even so, how are 2d mario gays a cancerous fanbase? I thought it was just the papergays
>describe the plight of zelda fans
>UGH YOU S-SNOYS AT IT AGAIN
ok dude
>kirby
>2d mario
nice try snoy, but those are good
Sorry but considering the 8.8 incident, these gays were always loons.
It probably started with the N64 and GC eras when PS1/2 cucked them hard.
Pikmin 4 has better and more complex dungeons than all of TOTK.
have a nice day, Seamus.
there are actual buttfricking homosexuals who are less gay than zelinkgay
I bet you know about it.
>why does the protagonist not look like me
>he is suppossed to be 1/16th mexican
>random track from BG3 is better than any track from Zelda series
Nintendobros??? Any response???
>gay vocals trying to emulate enya's voice
get some taste homosexual
I accept you concession.
if you had posted Raphael's boss fight theme you might have a point, but the TOTK theme song is far better than what that drek is
>Raphael's boss fight theme
To fully understand this kino theme you should play the game first.
Sorry I don't play western ESG slop, I only play Japanese ESG slop
Eh people were already tired of the “the world is empty in purpose” of botw. So doing it again was always the wrong move. They needed to go back to classic Zelda
they'll never admit that LttP/OoT was the ultimate formula, yeah Twilight Princess wasn't as strong but they threw out the whole formula with it
I'm starting to think that Arthur is a falseflagging snoy. There's no way anyone can be this autistic about a shitty Zelda game
>Arthur
Doesn't exist, take your meds schizo.
>Shadowheart is actually written better than any TOTK's character
Quite achievement.
Wrong and troony-pilled.
>three different routes (excluding death, selunite MC and betrayal events)
>character development
>actual dialogues with animations
I don't feel so good, zeldabro.
zelda games never really have well-written characters
Arthur is actually eric falseflagging to trick people into thinking he doesn't exist. it's pathetic really
this game kinda showed the fanbase is reaching pokemon tier of dumb where they can give you the same game with a few slightly different mechanics and you guys will eat it up and say
>it wasnt that bad i had fun!
idiots all of you and you deserve all the bad things in life you get dont even think you dont for buying this
Uh oh. Here comes the ZeLink spammer to artificially float the thread.
all me btw
which is why the game went to shit as soon as you exit the first island
nope, Erica.
>Eric
>Darren
>Barry
>Arthur
How do you people come up with this shit?
Eric doxxed himself when seething about nintendo.
they make the same fricking threads every day, ttroony mods used to ban barneygay unique posting schizos like that but I guess they only give a shit when its vidya butts poster for some reason
Maybe they'll apply themselves for the first time in 25 years
meds NOW
He is a confirmed schizophrenic, just ignore Arthur
It was genius as a business decision. They saved a fortune in dev costs and it still sold bucketloads.
Unfortunately though i don't care about business, i like video games, and for me, totk was a lazy pile of crap.
I'm convinced Nintendo was working on a completely new Zelda game in parallel to ToTK. No fricking way such a low effort game took 6 years, and no way they'll leave Switch 2 without a Zelda game for another 5 years
they werent working on it for 6 years
i dont know why people think 6 year gap has to mean they worked on it for 6 years. it was likely 2.5 or so.
samegay
newbie
shitchgay
Gayboy
I hope this means they're already 3 years deep developing a totally new Zelda game and just spent the last 3 polishing ToTK on the side.
Bro, the entire consumer base is like that now
they didn't do shit during that time because covaids
probably was suppose to come out 3 years after BoTW even in game it feels like 3 or 4 years have passed and then that government made virus happened so you have people not working for like 2 years
and then they delayed it probably to actually work on it again
Definitely 4~5
not a chance. there just isn't enough meat to it. i know they worked on it under 3 years. its an expansion
>LE PHYSX LIBRARY REQUIRED MASTER CODERS TO IMPLEMENT!!!
How would an OOT remake even work? Are they just gonna give it a fancy touch up of graphics? Because Ship of Harkinian already fills that role.
>Switch 2
>60FPS
>Really, Really good graphics. Utilize the closed and simple world design to make absolutely beautiful locales without cutting performance.
>Remaster the soundtrack with the same samples or instruments but a higher quality recording
>Fix the bow controls
You have no fricking idea how good an OOT remake could look
NINTENDO HIRE THIS MAN
>Switch 2
>Really, Really good graphics
Unlikely if Monster Hunter Wilds' reveal trailer was anything to go by. The rumors of the console's hardware being a souped-up PS4 are probably true.
What rumors are you talking about? For information on the switch 2 we have two sources
Firstly the Nvidia hack, which puts it around a PS4 pro with DLSS
Then we have the leaks from Eurogamer and VGC which says it was running the same demo the PS5 and XSX were running to show off their consoles.
Literally nothing is pointing to a "souped up PS4"
>Firstly the Nvidia hack, which puts it around a PS4 pro with DLSS
So a souped-up PS4.
They didn't work in it for 6 years.
All told it was 3 years of actual dev and year if polish
I hope so, the fact Akallah citadel was still empty only with a shitty cave under it and lon lon ranch + the world being in ruin still after 6 in-game years just felt like I was playing that botw romhack called second wind or somethin. This game just reeks of a skeleton crew working on it. Are you gonna tell me that they made all of BOTWs world in 6 years, but they couldn't have been assed to make more than 1 biome for the depths or put any care at all into it's design and population? The whole idea of this game just feels fishy.
Hey don't diss second wind, at least that game has a new town with new characters!
Will a Legion Go be able to run TotK?
They are currently in the Zelink thread falseflagging btw. Their attention has been drawn away from this
It's 2-4 people but sometimes there's only one.
>suddenly
The 'eric' spammer is still here, tho
>BG3
>PS5 console exclusive
Huh? is he moronic?
Absolute STATE of these threads. Zelda mindbroke you schizos.
>he says as "eric" is spammed non-stop for the past 3 days
No self awareness, huh?
But he does. Or are you telling on yourself?
>past 3 days
And from the responses to this , I see I've exposed the spammer. Again.
Honestly, this kind of post makes me appreciate games like Terraria even more.
>it's a marvel to be able to travel across an entire game world without loading screens, and yet Terraria has been doing it since 2011
>you can actually break your speed limit and travel without issue, and the whole world is just waiting for you.
This game puts 10 dimensional games to shame.
>made the shitposter so mad he responded twice in the exact same way
basado?!
While I enjoy seeing tendies lose, watchin ACgay win so much lately is making me uncomfortable.
>No magic fast travel for free.
Enter: Pylons.
That's really cool, GPTchat.
meant for
Also kys ACgay
insult sandwiches have arrived. :^)
There's no way they put the game into Game Pass while the game has regional prices and still is top 4 seller in Steam.
CAN YOU homosexualS PLEASE LEAVE THE ZELINK THREADS ALONE. JESUS CHRIST
lmao the tendie schizo has changed from calling every TotK detractor "erictroony" to "erica"
based noticers

Dumb damage controlling troon

He is a living legend who does not need to prove anything to you chud, cope.
>He is a living legend
Doesn't look like Richard Garriott.
literally who?
Anouma is a hack
Why did it take so long for Ganker to realize that Zelda hasn't been truly great since 2000? Everything post MM has been pretty mediocre.
You sound trans.
>You sound tra-ACK!
Would the whole left side
I see it
actually proud of the fatso who lost weight to troon out
>pokemon
>AC
You lost your marbles.
Worse is that menus still don't utilize all 4 shoulder buttons.
Nobody cares about your blogposts ACgay
>STOP TALKING ABOUT VIDEOGAMES
>It was a mistake to reuse the same map.
I agree.
New map with new mechanics would made it it goty
The depths was a mistake tbh. the best part about the depths was the volcano area because it looked different
Nah, it would've been an amazing bonus.... in a new map
also I thought this was a Zelda thread, not a schitzo one, lmao
yeah it needed air flowing up for the Rito, a bunch of water for Zora, and sand dunes for gerudo
I liked the Goron area because it provided actual challenge for getting around that wasn't just gloom
>Anouma is a hack
Arthur is dilating hard
>Arthur
Your boogieman doesn't exist, take your meds.
>new IP
Ban evading again?
The concept was fine, but yeah. Too few enemies with almost 0 variety, and almost 0 variety of biomes. Closest we got was beneath gerudo and Gordonia. Everything else was samey same-same with some mines and ponds.
>turn the map upside down
>mAstErPiECe!!!!1
Eric is Arthur right?
Arthur is 1 schizo guy, Eric is anyone who says mean things about nu-zelda or shitendo
>Arthur
Take your meds, your boogieman isn't real.
Nice damage control. Also
>[Deleted]
KEEEEEEEEEEEK
>invert the map 1:1
>turn the lights off
>against all logic, somehow make an EVEN EMPTIER version of hyrule that is 10x more of a slog to get through
>get praise for this innovative "doubling" of content
i was straight up picrel reading the online consensus on the depths after finishing tears
My post constantly mentioned Zelda. A-are you admitting that Zelda is a movie game?
What worship you deranged schizoid?
Nobody gives a shit about Final Fantasy 16 it was a shit boring game and the next numbered entry will flop even harder.
People only care about FF7 to the point it may as well be its own franchise.
>Find that Zelda's been living in Link's house in Hateno
>Figured maybe she and Link were living together
>No one recognizes Link.
...So, uh, where was Link living all this time?
>click thread

Wheeew lad
I don't get why they couldn't have just expanded the map much like other open world games do? why reuse a lot the same exact assets? It doesn't make sense to do that. Doesn't matter at the end of the day, I guess.
TOTK isn't even in top 5 of 2023. Here is a list of games from this year alone that mog it:
Armored Core 6
Baldur's Gate 3
Resident Evil 4
Like a Dragon Gaiden
Lies of P
Phantom Liberty
funny how TOTK, taken as a game expansion (which it is), is still outclassed by phantom liberty
ToTK really exposed how outdated Nintendo's game design & general philosophy is these days.
IMO the Zelda Team is on Tod Howard's level when it comes to washed-up developer principals.
What? All did was make a slight observation and a light criticism. Is that too much for you people now?
Arthur is severely autistic and schizophrenic, there's no real point arguing with him. Just let him get over his meltdown
love these threads, love updating my Ganker buzzword filters
I haven't played BoTW
If I play ToTK and finish it is there any point in me playing BoTW or should I play BoTW first
>Erica, that cope isn't saving you 😉
Arthur looks like THAT?!?
this is for illustration purposes. he looks much worse irl
because he only exists in your schizo mind.
idk what he looks like but i am sure the first question id ask him is: where the frick is your chin?
I see it
How is this level of autism even possible?
I accept your troonycession 😉
>sequel is soulless and rips away any shreds of soul still left in it from first iteration
Why would they do this
i hope you schizos are just having fun cuz anger is bad for heart
literally peer-reviewed study confirming it
well the ericspammer doesn't have a chin to rope so he's gonna have heart issues instead.
What??? Do you really get that much enjoyment from spamming that?
It is a forced complaint, but everyone knows that Ganker isn't where you go to get good takes on... anything.
Try actually playing BotW again and don't have the memory of a goldfish.
Anyone posting Zelink in here is most obviously a falseflagger. Don’t take the bait guys.
T. Actual zelinker
You still get laughed out of every zelda girl thread.
botw was fun
elden ring was fun
totk was fun
baldurs gate was fun
i like video games
>i like video games
GET OUT OF Ganker NOW!! YOU DON'T BELONG HERE!!
Yes.
I thought they did improve it a lot though but it's not enough when it's mostly the same map.
Remember, every time you say "God save the queen," Queen Elizabeth has to spend one less day burning in hell
It was a different map though. The surface level has been significantly changed from BOTW and then you have an entire underworth and sky islands.
I think the real issue with the game is that it lost focus with the whole combine and zonai device mechanics
Same map was a non issue. Everything else was atrocious. The story in particular was a terrible nothingburger.
Boy meets girl.
They know the tendie legion will defend any shit they spew out.
Off topic but your thread sucks anyway: why wasn't the UK called the UQ (United Queendom) when she was alive?
But that wasn't a Kingdom, it was a Queendom. Stupid picture maker.
it really was. Made the game feel like I already played it. It really did feel like a DLC. Should have made a whole new map.
