I quit after 4 hours. I got tired of the endless underground facilities, the dark cellars, the ventilation shafts, the endless corridors. Frick this game and frick Half-Life in general.

I liked the new xen way more than the original one but it was way way too long and padded out.
It completely broke the narrative pace by putting so much playtimw between the end of the black mesa part and the final fight
the remakes are never as good, you have to be careful these days because people will say ANYTHING is good atleast at first.

I posted on the black mesa forums asking why the military voices were literally just stolen from insurgency and I go permabanned from their steam forums.
I always felt since the sourcemod, black mesa is pretty to look at, shitty to play and the music is so ill fitting to the HL universe.
