>It's 9PM on a wednesday, you're tired from work and want to unwind with playing some videogames? well too fricking bad, here's a lobby where you're expected to carry 3 braided morons without opposable thumbs against a 4 man stack of high ELO players and their moronic friend they brought along which brought down the ELO average just enough so you can match with them, and if you get too toxic we WILL ban you sweetie!

what if instead of blaming your teammates you simply played a 1v1 game? or got some friends?
But then who will I blame for my failure 🙁
yourself
I got no issue blaming myself when I lose, shit happens.
When my team fed the enemy 40 kills without doing a single fricking thing and I'm the only one with a positive KDA, that's when I have a problem.
I don't play asshomosexuals where everyone just blames other people. If I blame someone for losing it's because objectively they're dogshit at the game
>hurrr but ur just as bad if ur getting matched with them lmao
No. Frick off
starcraft 2 was too fricking stressful man
I only had the energy for like 1 game a day
The problem is modern gaming ruined 1v1 games.
>Fightan (and other forms of 1v1 pvp) is a complete fricking shitshow filled with literal troons and furries where you either easily stomp a flowchart monkey or get infinite'd by a literal pro.
>Blizzard is a bunch of goyslurpers and ruined starcraft as well as all their other games.
>Card games (both MTG and YGO) devolved into just using the meta T0 deck of the season that can do everything.
>Racing games are stuck a decade in the past in terms of QoL and actual gameplay.
>you either easily stomp a flowchart monkey or get infinite'd by a literal pro
>this skill based 1v1 game sux because i keep losing to people better than me
just play single player bro...
I do.
>everyone worse than me is a monkey!
>everyone better than me is a pro!
That's wild. What's it like being so special and unique?
>everyone driving slower than me is an idiot
>everyone driving faster than me is a madman
That's just how most people are
But I do hate matchmaking, custom servers were much better
>Card games (both MTG and YGO) devolved into just using the meta T0 deck of the season that can do everything.
This is literally how both have always been anywhere outside of the school playground and kitchen table. If you want to compete at anything higher than a locals you have to bring a deck worth a shit. And even at locals you have to at least have some iota of an idea of what you're doing.
YOU are the flowchart monkey to the people beating you
YOU are the literal pro to the people you beat
Sounds like cope to justify bad matchmaking.
I haven't had a close match in a fightan in what feels like a decade since the PS3 era of LAN parties.
So when you go online it's always 100% either you double perfect them or it's always 100% you get double perfected? You never have to struggle to find victory? It just so happens that when you lose it's to "literal pros" who lock you in an "infinite"? Even though not a single modern game has infinite combos? Wow sounds like you're a total liar and you just give up easily.
If you're getting matched up against button-mashers, tanyao-spamming nyags, franklamers, netdeckers, and pubstompers, then you deserve nothing better until you're above them.
>i'm only here because elo hell
all 5 of them on one team should be saying that
It sounds like you are complaining about the exact opposite of skill-based matchmaking
In a skill-based matchmaker, all opponents would be of equal skill.
>In a skill-based matchmaker, all opponents would be of equal skill.
That's a meme
In practice most SBMM just averages ELO scores, which is how in games like Halo Infinite you get teammates that go 1/15 and you're expected to play at your peak every time to even have a small chance of winning.
Making all opponents be the same skill would make queue times at the edges of the bell curve take 50 minutes, and that hurts business because the people playing the most/higher skilled at the game are more likely to pay for season passes and other bullshit.
The problem is that most games which claim to be using SBMM are actually using EOMM (engagement optimized matchmaking) there's nothing wrong with skill based matchmaking in principle but in the modern industry they are giving you 80% heavily weighted matches and 20% fair matches
Server browsers were better
Reminder that the only people that would benefit from ending sbmm are streamers that play all the time and are considerably better than the average player and need to put out content of thenselves owning the in pubs to make money
>unwind
>competitive game
why? go play fricking minecraft.
>What do you mean I have to play against people as good as me?
I don't want to play an invisible ranked game.
So I don't buy your game.
if you think you are carrying 3 people I've got news for you, you are the one being carried
git gud would solve your problem
Just paly single player games if you want to Turbo stomp
>Wahhh the game is making me exert effort
Just win, homosexual. They made it harder to win? Do it anyway. It's that simple. Can't? Then you're a shitter and you're getting dumped to a lower rank like you deserve.
>Playing team games when you want to relax
>Drinking apple juice before a date
>Posting on Ganker in hopes of finding sympathizers.
>Drinking apple juice before a date
Have you never had apple juice?
It's not hard to picture the consequences.
Of course I've had apple juice, but I don't know what mysterious side effect you're referring to.
Too much apple juice can give sub humans the farts/diarrhea. White people don’t have that problem unless it is the only thing they drink in high quantities and don’t eat. Aka a juice fast that lasts longer than two days.
T- apple juice and water fast for 20 days and on day 11 had some apple juice sharts that kept me in the bathroom. That was the only day it happened.
You're thinking of milk. Apple juice affects everyone, regardless of race.
>I didn't eat anything for 11 days and it didn't do much of anything to me
Come on, dude.
apple cider can give me explosive diarrhea...but I need to drink like 2 pints of it to do that
clear apple juice has never done that though
In smaller amounts, it'll run your stomach. If you don't mind letting them out while you're trying to order, go nuts, but I don't think she'll want to meet with you again.
>want to unwind playing some video games
>plays PvP multiplayer
You only have yourself to blame
Boo hoo, play single player on very easy then.
>playing solo queue
you do it to yourself. If you want to relax pick up single player games. Competitive multiplayer is for kids and losers.
No the problem is your skill level
youre bad
youre all bad
GET IT
hear let me repeat myself
YOURE ALL BAD AT VIDEO GAMES
IM A TOP 1% AND I POOP ON THE 99% OF YOU WITHOUT TRYING
But im still bad compared to the top 500 who are scrimming and in pub stomp groups.
Youre a silver-plat hard stuck poop face
meanwhile ill go a melee character thats supposed to be a tank and ill build him with attack speed items and ILL RUN YOU ALL DOWN BEATING YOU TO DEATH WITH A TURKEY LEG BECAUSE I CAN AND YOU DONT HAVE THE SKILL TO STOP ME
Why in the FRICK would I play a competitive online multiplayer game to unwind after a long day of work?
(You) are clearly not part of the target audience for these kinds of games. That would be the teenagers that spend 6 hours a day playing them, and more importantly, spend their parents' money on microtransactions. Your role in the ecosystem is to pad the player count and to serve as target practice for the better players.
Pick a reasonably popular traditional multiplayer game and learn it. None of the problems associated with modern video games and they are going to be around for a long time. No company unilaterally decide frick them up either. Learning to play go after I got fed up with Sc2 was one of my best decisions.
