there is not a single chance that any executive on this planet in the modern era, would ever make the change that a character can NOT be gay. it would have been a ratings issue.

How bad is the Abbey and social stuff? I like deckbuilding and tactics games but I'm not a superhero fan and find social mechanics boring, and interacting with the capeguys and girls seems to be big part of the gameplay.
I really liked it but that’s probably because I’m a capegay and a comfy talk enjoyer. There’s also some magic puzzle shit to do round the Abbey grounds for extra stuff

You literally have decks, there's card packs that you unseal to get new cards. you combine cards to upgrade them, and you have hands, and shuffle your deck, and there's card types too like trap cards and magic cards, and monster cards. Saying it's not a card game is dishonest, the games store page says it's a card game.
The weird stark contrast of an apocalyptic event by day but then book club with Blade at night was just too weird. I may finish the game some day but it got to the point of cringe around Act 3.
