Frick that I want a bug free single player experience. Its hard to play these games back to back as it is so if my 1st experience is a bug ridden mess it will put me off of it.
SA cars never disappeared from garages you just lost them while driving them
No cars disappeared in garages in SA, it was the first game of the 3D games that it happened, and unfortunately that bug was still there in 4 and then V, but in V they were able to patch it out quite a few months later. I cannot remember if they ever fixed it in 4 but of course they could not patch SA.
4 in its defence had the great on road parking which they technically kept in V with the characters personal cars but I half expect in 4 that is what contributed to save issues with the cars.
As you may know if for example you parked multiple cars touching the on road parking it would cause save issues and delete cars, most likely contributing to save issues later in garages.
In 4 I actually never minded it too much as I didn't really play the game that much and I thought like IRL NYC you leave a decent car on the road it will get stolen, but V and SA some of those garages were places nobody IRL would steal shit from. Ruined immersion and in V I never even bothered caring about making decent cars for the characters because of it.
Irony with V having the most car customisation options.

Well, I did have cars disappear on me in IV. But I'm like 99% sure that was the AI driving into them and knocking them out of the save zone. I saw them do it and had to put it back before.

Assuming they'd bother to fix it this time finally. They still haven't fixed the messy driving AI that they used since GTA 4 from 15+ years ago either. I'm not exactly holding my breath on them doing some extra work for quality of life improvement to the gameplay instead of doing the usual TECHNOLOGY stuff people jerk them off like how walking with flip-flops is simulated realistically.
This is one bug that is not random, has been in the last 3 games and they must have isolated the cause in V and rectified it so one would assume it will be at the top of their list for bugs to search for in bug testing.
Another thing that has been there throughout the entirety of the franchise is the amount of multiple versions of cars on screen. As a GTA fan this will be one of the first things I will be looking for as an upgrade on the franchise.
Still the cars going misssing bug is a game breaking bug in GTA and I would rather have teh game be fixed day one without that shit for a beter experience.
No matter what gays say or PC only gays complain about GTA is the pinnacle of vidya and has been for some time that this is THE game we can look forward to to see progress in vidya industry.
GTA6 too being more important because the soul of the company has gone and they are pretty much an online focused company now.

I don't understand why companies don't use Rockstar's "perfectionist" downtime to release competitive clones like Palworld did to Pokemon. And then keep improving with each release and develop a following.
