I don't think I've ever seen that last for very long, the unified Norway-England doesn't last beyond one generation and some Anglo-Saxons returns to the throne through faction or a revolt because everyone in England hates the Norwegians.
viking adventurers are too OP everyone time I play in the british isles they end up kicking my ass and stealing my wife
Germanic Pagans are OP as frick. Still, Catholics are King once their ball gets rolling.
I get what Paradox was going for with it, but tribal armies are way too easy to raise for how strong they are in early game. Even other pagans can do fricking ridiculous shit with their tribal ally troops.
>desdichado
Where's that shield supposed to be from?
Ivanhoe reference.
Sounds like a cool read, I should get to it
Play CK3
Why?
should he have won instead of william the conqueror, Gankerbros?
Ice Black person should've stayed in Norway
The only empire is the essex empire.
The sex empire you say? Tell me more...
how is this game so much better than ck3 ..
It is over a decade old which is around the time it takes for Paradox games to be good. It took them fricking six years to actually make good crusading mechanics in a game called Crusader Kings.
Ck3 is now six years old and has nothing
It's not even 4 years old.
It is fun in a more roleplay oriented way.
It has potential and the big dlcs are taking a direction I like a lot.
But it is missing key features from 2 sl its still an incomplete experience.
>It is fun in a more roleplay oriented way
Not that moron but this is not true for me. I spent thousands of hours in Ck2 roleplaying and using my imagination for every little dumb frick country I made. Ck3 rolls around, I do a few strange things, get bored and uninstall. Last game I did was an escape to Crimea as Anglo-Saxons which was fun I suppose. Just majorly dissapointed in Ck3 I suppose. The tournaments are okay the first 100 times.
>playing ckII for the hundredth time
>get a legit quick quitie Frisian lass as second ruler and she gets the immortality questline before hitting 17
I think she pumped out close to three hundred kids, and it too a good five minutes to open up the family tree. Pretty much everything but the Far East was my dynasty. She wasn't a qutie by the end of the game though all the attempts on her life left her disfigured and missing a few limbs.
>when you get that one frickwad heir
>tfw you're such a long lived ruler you have to groom your grand children to rule
Give me ideas for a new run, guys. I want to replay this game but I've done everything I could think of
Have you done a Last Karling run?
I don't think so, I usually don't do anything related to France. Would that be hard?
Brittany and Normandy are pretty based launching pads for total european domination.
I've not done it but I think the hardest part is the very start when you're a woman in a regular marriage.
Start as Volga Bulghars and make a steppe sultanate.
