Theres some optional limitations in the boss rush and it gets super autistic when you use all at once. As someone who did it, its way too moronic and substanceless to be considered completion. Dont even consider it unless you feel like you love the game after 100%ing. But if you do feel beating the boss rush with all inhibitors & beating every boss hitless, then sure you can count a few dozen hours more but seriously frick that. Youre better off installing the randomizer mod

Dead cells is better than all of the above and SotN by a mile. SotN is insanely overrated and barely belongs in the B tier. Super is like king of the B tier but gets extra credit for aging gracefully. No mention of La mulana 1 and 2 or ESA some absolute titans of the genre. Utterly tasteless homosexual.

I'm on the side of "it'll be done when it's done", don't ever rush a game out, but I do find it strange that it's taking so long when they already have so much they could just carry over from Hollow Knight. They'll need to make new art, new sound, new mechanics, and new NPC's and enemies, but the foundation is already there and I think that's the hardest part.
Hollow Knight literally only came out because the devs ran out of money.

Their animations are really simple for the bugs. So it doesn't make any sense why they would postpone the release this much.

If you have more than 15 different areas they feel same-ish or too random (ice area and below a volcano area) and 5-6 new enemies per area is enough
Having this many benches only means perma saving (what I dont like) or like 40 areas (which I doubt anyone can pull off)
I would rather have a polished game that lasts for 15 hours than a bloated game that is 50 hours long. While i like HK it was also bloated to a degree. Some areas didn't have any polish and it took so long for you to get the upgrades and the core mechanics weren't that engaging. I almost quit playing it from boredom. The only thing that encouraged me to play was the atmosphere.
You should have more faith in Team Cherry's game design sensibilities. Base HK provides the player many branching paths to complete the primary objective allowing the player to skip many parts of the game and still complete it. Silksong will have an accessible bad end and rabbitholes of secrets and side areas for 1000% autists.
