>class with combo mechanics and a reflect mechanic that entails learning to land hits with majority of projectile attacks in the game vs a class whose meta reduces him down to a single weapon and is so one-note even his overwatch equivalent has more complexity
You can tell this gay is a Pyro main cause he acts like airblasting is difficult.
You press a button homie, spam that shit even if you want to be annoying. Bet your ass was still preaching even with old airblast that basically immobilized your target completely and set them up for instant death.
Say what you want about Heavy players, they at least understand what they're playing and don't try to act like pompous buttholes about it.
>cause he acts like airblasting is difficult.
Again, you're literally using the projectile attacks of other classes when you reflect. My fricking point was if you're saying it's easy then you're saying playing those classes is easy. Idiot. >Say what you want about Heavy players, they at least understand what they're playing and don't try to act like pompous buttholes about it.
If that was true they wouldn't immediately have argued against being called the most braindead class in this very thread.
>if you're saying it's easy then you're saying playing those classes is easy.
Nice false equivalence. It's not hard to see a rocket coming towards you and frick it off from yourself with an M2 press. Airblasting is not difficult in the slightest. >If that was true they wouldn't immediately have argued against being called the most braindead class in this very thread.
That goes to Pyro.

>It's not hard to see a rocket coming towards you and frick it off from yourself with an M2 press.
But landing the rocket afterwards is precisely as hard as landing the rocket as soldier. Meaning if you think reflecting is easy, you think soldier is easy. And that same argument can then be applied to harder to land projectiles from other classes that also can be reflected. You really seem to be struggling to understand what I'm saying to you here. >That goes to Pyro.
Doesn't matter. I'm not the one who tried to argue that a pyro wouldn't deny being called braindead. You tried to made that claim about heavy players when this very conversation we're having is because they did object.
>best hp/speed ratio in the game >only class with integral DoT in the game >only class that can reduce healing >counters 2 power classes (airblasting isn't hard) >hard counters a class to the point of unplayability >has the widest and most effective crit choices (pyro's "combo" is not hard) >side grade trades airblast for near guaranteed crits (has no downside if being healed) >holding M1 into a crowd is a guaranteed teamwipe or at least priority picks 90% of the time (6s or highlander is irrelevant)
I'm glad you out yourself as a pyro main, because I can freely ignore whatever comes from your mouth

homie you're trying to make out that pyro is some braindead class but you ended up posting a shitload just trying to describe everything about him. If he was braindead there wouldn't have been much to post about.

Are you actually, genuinely moronic?

If a class was braindead there wouldn't be much to him.
Heavy is literally class whose meta is one gun + self-heal and a speedboost melee. No advanced mobility or any kind of combo mechanics. Notice I didn't post a massive greentext covering everything about him?

>No advanced mobility or any kind of combo mechanics
Which is why you need positioning along with map and game sense to play him. Jumping mindlessly into the fray as heavy gets you killed. Pyro, on the other hand, is exceedingly forgiving >If a class was braindead there wouldn't be much to him
If a class wasn't braindead it wouldn't have several crutches that make it moron-friendly
I present to you
Soldier
He's heavy but he has good mobility
Doesnt need to hit the targets
Has superior alternate weapons
And lower skill floor for bigger reward
To be fair that's just as much on valve for being so fricking stupid to not realise that rocketjumper would be used in actual games and completely breaks the design philosophy they were swearing by.
No.
He's probably the 3rd or 4th most intelligent merc in TF2 (which is impressive considering the top two are a medical prodigy and an autistic mechanical engineer). His PhD in Russian Literature doesn't have much use in a battlefield, especially considering its Anglo-centric setting.
In fact,
you may think you can outsmart him
but you cant outsmart bullet
is a reference to a Russian idiom. The language barrier makes it sound way stupider. Heavy would sound like Dostoevsky if TF2 was more Russo-centric.
This is the most braindead character in the entire game
yeah but he's fun

A lot to learn then, far from braindead.

You need to explain how heavy is more complex, not explain how pyro is not complex.
No class in tf2 is complex.
you may think you can outsmart him
but you cant outsmart bullet
He has a PHD in Russian literature.
GOOD MORNING PYRO

Soldier isn't braindead but soldier players are
15 years and they still can't read the Rocket Jumper desc

woah, cool down the anti-scottish remarks

fricking why?
