I work for a different studio that people hate probably more. Realistically, if you wanted job stability you wouldn't be working in the games industry, or would see the writing on the wall of making something people hate and start looking to get out while you still had a job. I don't even do game dev, I just work for a studio because the scale of operations/complexity leads to interesting things to work on. But I also understand that if everyone hates us so much that our project crashes and makes no money, this job will end, and I will find a new one.

I'd been working on it before all this and then they suddenly closed one of our studios to push this train wreck out and it obviously crashed and burned.
