Bullshit. If the obvious reason is "cheaters" let me tell you I've encountered far more cheaters on EU than I have on Japan. I've come across multiple rage hackers in EU but none in JP, and I play JP 90% of the time. The only thing that sucks about Asia is that people don't talk much.

Kek playing with ESP is great. Shoot people through thin cover or trees 200-300m away that are otherwise obscured from your vision and no one suspects a thing
I'd buy it, but the entire thing with FACEIT is a no-go for me. It's too intrusive, and I feel like it doesn't do a whole lot more than EAC already does. I get using it if you're doing a LAN or something where the computers aren't personal ones, but having DRM that can log keys and capture browser history even when the game isn't running and send that to an unknown server is no good when I use this PC to access my bank.
I've heard that, but I haven't seen any details on how exactly they plan to do that, and I know that the FACEIT devs have lied before about it "only running when the game does", so I don't really trust them.
TTK is very fast so it's basically an angle holding simulator. Some maps have lots of snipers as well, particularly bowl type of maps.
You can also try running around like a speed demon. No armour + SMG, it can be a viable strat.
Medic SMG with light armor is easily the strongest flanker/rusher in the game right now. The ability to heal yourself means you can just keep doing it over and over. I don't really like nerfing strong strats so I'd prefer if maybe assault got 2 or 3 adrenaline shots as a gadget to heal himself rather than making medic worse at what he does. It doesn't feel right for the healing class to be running around killing people without healing anybody but himself. I think it'd be better to make assault better at assaulting rather than making medic worse at playing the game period.

AK74 is still really good, it's just that the SMGs let you move really fast. You're fine to keep using that until you get a decent SMG/PDW. The unlocks you'll get on the AK will still be really useful on other classes since almost everybody can use it.

I don't think it'd be an issue with the pacing of this game. You stay alive for a long time, it usually takes a while to get back into the fight after dying and you'll often just get hit by a random grenade and have to heal. Just make it take a moment to pull out, take off the cap and inject for a fairly quick heal over time. It shouldn't be possible to pull one out and heal through someone actively shooting at you. It should just be used for flanking assaults that are far from their teams/medics and need to heal up after getting bodyshot by a sniper. That's also why I said only 2-3: giving them infinite sustain shouldn't be a thing. They should be flanking, killing some guys, healing off the damage and then RTBing for ammo and more stims.

My usual new FPS road to success goes like >learn the maps i.e. where people will hide, where fights occur >learn shooting competency i.e. figure out how the recoil works, learn any bullet drop/leading mechanics, lower sensitivity until happy - get to the stage where you can put accurate shots at distance rapidly, and also quickly drop rounds into a guy close range on reaction >learn gamesense i.e. where people are looking, going, spawning

Like other anons said, running around too much will make this happen more. Letting other players go ahead of you and aiming where they aim, or aiming where you think a guy is likely to shoot them from, helps

it really depends on your class though; if you're just rushing people down cod style as assault I can see wanting impact for an instakill on someone who surprised you but support should always be running frags so they can chuck 30 grenades over the walls

What? Snipers and DMRs are fantastic in this game. Most snipers have a bullet velocity of >1k meters/sec, compared to battlefield 4 where most were under 400 m/s. The M110 is also a 2 shot kill to the body as a DMR and it's incredibly accurate.
People using close range weapons are obviously going to kill you at close range.
AR's beam from 100-200 meters and have a lower TTK to snipers and DMR's - the only exception is headshots where the helmet doesn't cuck you from a kill which is very frequent. From the glare, to the helmets, and the absolute accuracy AR's and SMG's have the DMR may as well not exist and you will get your shit kicked in if anyone knows your location and they're within 200 meters. Some idiot with an AK or M4 will get more points, more kills.

And? By the time you kill 2 people the moron with the M4 has killed 5 and is on the point and in addition can revive those who are downed near them. Even the DMR, which is supposed to cover this weakness, loses to the SCAR and other AR's because ARs/SMG's cover enough of its effective range but can do close quarters in addition.
No reason to ever use a sniper or DMR from a strategic level because they're innately low performance ergo low impact weapons.
Go to the training ground and slap an acog on it. Kills 3 shots on the body, 2 on head, but has full auto. You can do this for most AR's and they'll be outclassing snipers and DMR's within 200 meters and probably 250 meters realistically.

TTK on it is still higher than most weapons because of the ROF which is the main issues with DMRs. You basically need to be 200-300 meters out to justify using DMRs and given the fast paced nature of the game I don't think you can justify the waste of efficiency to do that. It's fun but it does feel bad knowing you're the least impactful class
SCAR, Kriss, and Groza are all broken pieces of shit. The best DMR is the M110 or EBR and that's only because it doesn't auto lose the moment someone gets within 200 meters of you because it has a full auto feature but it'll still lose to the aforemention weapons
SCAR isn't used for the same reason Vector or Groza are - different purposes. You put a medium scope on the SCAR and shit on DMR and sniper homosexuals while also being useful in close quarters

it was a milsim game that pivoted to become more like battlefield, it wouldn't surprise me if some of the fringe milsim elements get smoothed out or removed, especially the engine silliness

this is one complaint i have of the game. everyone just goes medic and springs to the enemy backlines to rack up kills. The meta is literally to free for all instead of playing as a team/squad.
They mixed the two and it's an unholy abomination where people are dying in a quarter of a second, immediately die because no medic rezzes, then respawn in the middle of a fire fight because you can spawn on a squadmate.
It needs to commit to one or the other because right now it's so fricking stupid on how the two aspects interact with each other. Due to the broken fricking weapons and spawn mechanics there's zero strategical elements in the game besides just flanking 24/7 and going from point to point. They either need to slow it down or just double down on it

The "trival" milsim mechanics in the game ALREADY clash. TTK is so slow even medic, the one class that can run while dragging someone, is too slow. Reloading is too slow. Healing is too slow. Bandaging is too slow. Jumping over an obstacle is too slow. EVERYTHING is so fricking slow due to the TTK and spawning mechanics.
I can't even count the number of times where I'm just fricking dead because I'm bleeding and someone is near me so my only choice is to yolo it to take him out otherwise I'll die while bandaging.
Meanwhile you get shit like the DMR with fricking MASSIVE recoil on the first shot for no reason other than MUH SNIPER but the devs are fine with people slapping acogs and med scopes on rifles so they can out snipe snipers.
Game is fricking riddled with clashing game decisions that make no fricking sense because it doesn't know if it wants to be cod or battlefield
Based on an dev interview earlier this year, they plan to add in hardcore mode similar to squad on even larger map. They tested with larger map before, but find that it not very popular since people just stick with vehicle or going sniper. There isn’t any mention of when it will be added in , but they at least they working on it.
There is a significant difference. I've played on 254 servers that were half populated and the difference in cluster fricking and chaos was significantly different as the server populated to full
On a micro scale during fights, yes, there's less clutter and chaos but on a macro scale the game is basically the same, except the spawning system comes to light and shows how bad it is because 1 person turns into an entire squad so back capping becomes exponentially more cancerous and since big fights are a lot slower to resolve due to the spawning system it becomes a joke.
If one thing needs to be overhaul it's how spawns are handled.

It makes defending impossible because everyone is a mobile FOB except it gives the attackers an advantage due to the way the mechanics around it works. You force the few defenders into combat while 1 or 2 people flank and stay out of combat, this puts the point into contested mode so no one can spawn in on the point or on a defender. People don't realize how cancerous the system is because most people are just playing random lobbies but it's so much worse when it's coordinated with a competent SL

They just need to get rid of that behavior entirely. Personally the respawn countdown should start when you go down. So players don't "have" to force suicide. Add on some extra respawn time to balance it out. It may not be perfect but it would certainly improve pub play.

The driver has the main gun and auxiliary machine gun, the second seat is just spotter and the THIRD seat has another machine gun (the flickery overlay type like Humvees have) but it has no stabilization so it's impossible to fricking hit anything unless the tank is perfectly still.
Tank/LAV main gun only, it stops the jitter and acts like BF4's separate vehicle aim toggle so your aim direction doesn't get dragged along when you steer.

LMG's have a higher TTK than the meta AR's and SMG's by a magnitude of 30-50% because the fire rate is so bad. You will basically never beat someone who has the Kriss for example, which is most people

This guy has a really good bit in his video about being where enemies do not expect you to be, and how it makes them not shoot you. You will experience this a bit, it happens in a lot of my webms, you need to be that guy.
If it wants to be a true milsim the damage taken (especially to torso) should be much lower while the effects of bleeding is ramped up. Could even use it to help balance sniping weapons but nah. Like most milsim games there's just a lot of damage upfront anyway.
If you just want a budget mic that also sounds good, then probably something like a Blue Snowball. You can get them for $32 on Amazon right now and the quality is relatively good.

Lmgs factually are worse than saltrifles in every way except capacity, everything else is cope. People ontop of leaderboard in a match aint playing support.
Best ttk is sniper rifles at 0ms + flight time and if youre getting beamed while sniping youre just shit. T. 5.9 kd 25-50 kills per match.
the reason to play LMG is so you can post up and spray your entire mag as morons rush into the chokepoint, aka being a support
you usually never win a straight 1v1 with an AR or SMG which is fine because you can instead farm infinite free kills with your 100 round capacity and nigh unlimited grenades
Issue is you the situations where you can actually do your support role are far and in-between and you will more than likely just get beamed by some butthole who glanced at you for half a second. I found success by making a nest of sorts where people will naturally enter a funnel of death but there's only so much you can do with a LMG because it takes so much longer to kill people than they can kill you. You will lose any engagement the moment they know where you are because, like I said, they just need to peak and beam you and more than likely they will just rush you and you won't be able to kill them fast enough so having a Kriss and just doing a run-and-gun play style ends up being significantly more effective.

I've found flanking to be incredibly easy and broken as frick because you can single handedly cause an entire point to be taken by acting as a FOB and the best part is you get points for squadmates spawning on you. You rarely get snipe because of just how wide you can flank

I have about 1500 kills on the M4, recently started using the AK74. Scar and other AK are pretty bad IMO. So I guess I'll use the AK74 for another 25 hours.
Scar and AK15 are really good when you put recoil reducing attachments on them. It's also surprisingly easy to tap fire people at range too
I'm just grinding for the FAL which is basically a Scar on steroids
I usually use them for medic. They can be good to break up chokepoints and allow your team to zerg rush through a kill zone in the confusion. Remember to throw the smoke on the bad guys so they cant see out of their positions.
Smokes are fricking amazing for when you are 50 dude in one spot, but the enemy is holding you down. Throw out a couple of smokes and people will be able to move up. It's especially great for chokepoints like the bridge on Wakistan, for example.
I hope they change the unlock progression path, unlocking the same attachments in a linear path for every gun is getting boring. Give me a point, let me use it to grab an attachment I actually want.
Do salt rifles or SMGs work better for an early game medic? Been trying no helmet and light vest for high speed, but I haven’t been doing well with the default SMGs.

People keep saying you cant trick people on mic with fake callouts since they're color coded, but I've had countless times where I've flat out had a chat with someone I snuck up on who didnt realize I was an enemy. Most people dont look at the voice color thing when theyre in the zone.
I don't know what kind of shotguns they could even implement in a game like this. If they work at too long range, they basically just become snipers that you don't need to scope in with. If they work at too short range, then they become completely useless for 95% of the playerbase and 95% of the maps.
Those people have a regular ass weapon that they use and switch to that hammer when opportunity arises, they don't drop their m4a1 and only run around with the hammer. Imagine being stuck with the hammer while everyone else has a fully automatic weapon that can kill you while you are still hundreds of meters away, that's what it would feel like if they fricked up the shotguns. Unless they make it like a gadget, like the RPGs. Still a moot point, considering they won't be adding them any time soon, if at all.

I'd buy it, but the entire thing with FACEIT is a no-go for me. It's too intrusive, and I feel like it doesn't do a whole lot more than EAC already does. I get using it if you're doing a LAN or something where the computers aren't personal ones, but having DRM that can log keys and capture browser history even when the game isn't running and send that to an unknown server is no good when I use this PC to access my bank.

TTK is very fast so it's basically an angle holding simulator. Some maps have lots of snipers as well, particularly bowl type of maps.
You can also try running around like a speed demon. No armour + SMG, it can be a viable strat.
Medic SMG with light armor is easily the strongest flanker/rusher in the game right now. The ability to heal yourself means you can just keep doing it over and over. I don't really like nerfing strong strats so I'd prefer if maybe assault got 2 or 3 adrenaline shots as a gadget to heal himself rather than making medic worse at what he does. It doesn't feel right for the healing class to be running around killing people without healing anybody but himself. I think it'd be better to make assault better at assaulting rather than making medic worse at playing the game period.

AK74 is still really good, it's just that the SMGs let you move really fast. You're fine to keep using that until you get a decent SMG/PDW. The unlocks you'll get on the AK will still be really useful on other classes since almost everybody can use it.
Smgs are also much more accurate than any other full or burst fire rifle
The P90 has like eight 50 round mags. It's extremely rare to run out of ammo on it even when you're spraying. The Vector is also very good in that regard.

I don't think it'd be an issue with the pacing of this game. You stay alive for a long time, it usually takes a while to get back into the fight after dying and you'll often just get hit by a random grenade and have to heal. Just make it take a moment to pull out, take off the cap and inject for a fairly quick heal over time. It shouldn't be possible to pull one out and heal through someone actively shooting at you. It should just be used for flanking assaults that are far from their teams/medics and need to heal up after getting bodyshot by a sniper. That's also why I said only 2-3: giving them infinite sustain shouldn't be a thing. They should be flanking, killing some guys, healing off the damage and then RTBing for ammo and more stims.

Pp19 is a laser gun, so is the m4 with some mid level attachments. Pp19 has a really fast reload with the quick change mag.

It's funny, the dev was worried about DMR's 1 tapping people through 1 inch holes meanwhile all the meta SMG's and AR's can beam people from 100 meters in a third of a second
What? Snipers and DMRs are fantastic in this game. Most snipers have a bullet velocity of >1k meters/sec, compared to battlefield 4 where most were under 400 m/s. The M110 is also a 2 shot kill to the body as a DMR and it's incredibly accurate.
People using close range weapons are obviously going to kill you at close range.
AR's beam from 100-200 meters and have a lower TTK to snipers and DMR's - the only exception is headshots where the helmet doesn't cuck you from a kill which is very frequent. From the glare, to the helmets, and the absolute accuracy AR's and SMG's have the DMR may as well not exist and you will get your shit kicked in if anyone knows your location and they're within 200 meters. Some idiot with an AK or M4 will get more points, more kills.
Nothing is more infuriating than headshotting 3 people only to hear the TINK from your shot deflecting from a helmet

Yes, for all weapons. It's not bound by default, so i bound it to mluse 4 and 5. It's extremely useful, especially when paired with a rangefinder.

And? By the time you kill 2 people the moron with the M4 has killed 5 and is on the point and in addition can revive those who are downed near them. All it takes is 1 person flanking to wipe out a sniper because they have negative 1:1 ability. Even the DMR, which is supposed to cover this weakness, loses to the SCAR and other AR's because ARs/SMG's cover enough of its effective range but can do close quarters in addition.
No reason to ever use a sniper or DMR from a strategic level because they're innately low performance ergo low impact weapons.
Go to the training ground and slap an acog on it. Kills 3 shots on the body, 2 on head, but has full auto. You can do this for most AR's and they'll be outclassing snipers and DMR's within 200 meters and probably 250 meters realistically.

The M110 DMR is one of the best guns in the game once you get the barrel attachment that pushes the damage to a 2 shot body kill at up to 400 meters
TTK on it is still higher than most weapons because of the ROF which is the main issues with DMRs. You basically need to be 200-300 meters out to justify using DMRs and given the fast paced nature of the game I don't think you can justify the waste of efficiency to do that. It's fun but it does feel bad knowing you're the least impactful class

this is one complaint i have of the game. everyone just goes medic and springs to the enemy backlines to rack up kills. The meta is literally to free for all instead of playing as a team/squad.

They mixed the two and it's an unholy abomination where people are dying in a quarter of a second, immediately die because no medic rezzes, then respawn in the middle of a fire fight because you can spawn on a squadmate.

Due to the broken fricking weapons and spawn mechanics there's zero strategical elements in the game besides just flanking 24/7 and going from point to point. They either need to slow it down or just double down on it

The "trival" milsim mechanics in the game ALREADY clash. TTK is so slow even medic, the one class that can run while dragging someone, is too slow. Reloading is too slow. Healing is too slow. Bandaging is too slow. Jumping over an obstacle is too slow. EVERYTHING is so fricking slow due to the TTK and spawning mechanics.
I can't even count the number of times where I'm just fricking dead because I'm bleeding and someone is near me so my only choice is to yolo it to take him out otherwise I'll die while bandaging.
Meanwhile you get shit like the DMR with fricking MASSIVE recoil on the first shot for no reason other than MUH SNIPER but the devs are fine with people slapping acogs and med scopes on rifles so they can out snipe snipers.

Based on an dev interview earlier this year, they plan to add in hardcore mode similar to squad on even larger map. They tested with larger map before, but find that it not very popular since people just stick with vehicle or going sniper. There isn’t any mention of when it will be added in , but they at least they working on it.
The maps are the biggest problem. They are way too dense and cramped. Many feel like they are designed for a quarter of the player count.

There is a significant difference. I've played on 254 servers that were half populated and the difference in cluster fricking and chaos was significantly different as the server populated to full
On a micro scale during fights, yes, there's less clutter and chaos but on a macro scale the game is basically the same, except the spawning system comes to light and shows how bad it is because 1 person turns into an entire squad so back capping becomes exponentially more cancerous and since big fights are a lot slower to resolve due to the spawning system it becomes a joke.
If one thing needs to be overhaul it's how spawns are handled.

It makes defending impossible because everyone is a mobile FOB except it gives the attackers an advantage due to the way the mechanics around it works. You force the few defenders into combat while 1 or 2 people flank and stay out of combat, this puts the point into contested mode so no one can spawn in on the point or on a defender. People don't realize how cancerous the system is because most people are just playing random lobbies but it's so much worse when it's coordinated with a competent SL
What's the problem exactly? This all sounds like a good way to build up coordinated squad play. Squads can spawn on beacons too. And honestly not enough teams take advantage of them with how many points you can rack up if you mark and then attack a point.

Yes, that's why everyone immediately succumbs to redeploy faster and why no medics ever rez people. What it sounds like in your mind and how it plays out are very different
They just need to get rid of that behavior entirely. Personally the respawn countdown should start when you go down. So players don't "have" to force suicide. Add on some extra respawn time to balance it out. It may not be perfect but it would certainly improve pub play.

The driver has the main gun and auxiliary machine gun, the second seat is just spotter and the THIRD seat has another machine gun (the flickery overlay type like Humvees have) but it has no stabilization so it's impossible to fricking hit anything unless the tank is perfectly still.

Tank/LAV main gun only, it stops the jitter and acts like BF4's separate vehicle aim toggle so your aim direction doesn't get dragged along when you steer.

If it wants to be a true milsim the damage taken (especially to torso) should be much lower while the effects of bleeding is ramped up. Could even use it to help balance sniping weapons but nah. Like most milsim games there's just a lot of damage upfront anyway.

Issue is you the situations where you can actually do your support role are far and in-between and you will more than likely just get beamed by some butthole who glanced at you for half a second. I found success by making a nest of sorts where people will naturally enter a funnel of death but there's only so much you can do with a LMG because it takes so much longer to kill people than they can kill you. You will lose any engagement the moment they know where you are because, like I said, they just need to peak and beam you and more than likely they will just rush you and you won't be able to kill them fast enough so having a Kriss and just doing a run-and-gun play style ends up being significantly more effective.

I've found flanking to be incredibly easy and broken as frick because you can single handedly cause an entire point to be taken by acting as a FOB and the best part is you get points for squadmates spawning on you. You rarely get snipe because of just how wide you can flank

sprinting is not unreasonably fast. PR is so obsessed with realism that it simulates the player character's hernias and arthritis.
Player speed varies a lot based on loadout. Roll Support with the exo armor and an LMB and even running you'll feel like you're stuck in molasses.

I have about 1500 kills on the M4, recently started using the AK74. Scar and other AK are pretty bad IMO. So I guess I'll use the AK74 for another 25 hours.
Scar and AK15 are really good when you put recoil reducing attachments on them. It's also surprisingly easy to tap fire people at range too

I usually use them for medic. They can be good to break up chokepoints and allow your team to zerg rush through a kill zone in the confusion. Remember to throw the smoke on the bad guys so they cant see out of their positions.
Smokes are fricking amazing for when you are 50 dude in one spot, but the enemy is holding you down. Throw out a couple of smokes and people will be able to move up. It's especially great for chokepoints like the bridge on Wakistan, for example.

I don't know what kind of shotguns they could even implement in a game like this. If they work at too long range, they basically just become snipers that you don't need to scope in with. If they work at too short range, then they become completely useless for 95% of the playerbase and 95% of the maps.
