>so many fusion cores you can run around in power armor all game completely destroying the game balance >settlements >the game incentivises you to pick up everything so you can scrap it making a strength build the default build everyone goes >the "twist" was obvious from the moment you got refrozen in the prologue
awful game
the shooting was fun, building was fun (because i modded out inventory weight limit). Exploration was nice, but there weren't enough unique missions, and the new towns you settled weren't memorable or very detailed, didnt feel like the npcs were actually living there at all.
I sided with the institute and the endgame quest chain was frickin pathetic.
no it's undercooked.
settlements are shit, they are the definition of unfun.
The story is unimaginably awful.
Gameplay is as far from RPG as possible
RPG elements are non existent
The world is static, and has nothing in it.
it feels like playing a game with ADHD
>settlements are shit
Good thing they're optional >story is awful
also optional >gameplay is not an rpg >no rpg elements
this is a good thing. It's a Bethesda game and not an rpg. I don't know why you want to shoehorne rpg elements in >world is static and empty
this is just wrong
Learn to have fun
>Good thing they're optional
Probably why they're so shit >story is optional
also why it's shit >It's a good thing it's missing rpg mechanics
wrong >claiming it's wrong that the world is static and empty
incorrect
The best was to play bethesda games is to frick off and make your own fun with 100 mods. I must have 2k hours collectively in their games and have only beaten one of them
Posting here because I don't know where the frick else to make this post without a new thread.
Are there any RTS games with Fallout total conversion mods? For some reason I have a massive desire to throw waves of NCR troopers against a wall of BoS Power Armor.
It's really not. There's nothing to look forward too after you finish building your Ada. There's no Mr. House, no Legion assassins, no Feral Ghoul Reavers (fo3), no Deathclaw infested zone like the sanctuary or junction, no zeta, no Anchorage, nothing.
Can someone please show all of Bethesda how guns work? I swear to God they are the worst offenders of bad gun design ever. Every single time I see one of those pieces of shit in the bottom right of my screen my enjoyment of the games plummet.
Bethesda is completely unaware of outside criticism. Todd has even said they don't care about it. They think Starfield is a misunderstood masterpiece because it is "different from Fallout and The Elder Scrolls".
It's always been good
Based
Played it recently, it's okay. I stopped caring near the end and tcl part the instatute. I might try far harbor or just delete the game I dunno
If you do, bring Nick Valentine with you. I did not, and I was told I missed some content.
yes. there is a who synth storyline there with those people who worship nukes and such.
Raider World and Far Harbor are fun.
Always was
>It's good.
>it's always been good

Stalker is better
>It's good.
At being shit
I'm trans btw
*when you play it like borderlands
Why did Bethesda take away the option of slaving people? That was one of the cool things in Fallout 3.
You have a slave companion. Also you can sell Billy to slavers
I mean, the option of mesmerizing generic NPCs, and sending them off to a slave trade center.

it's the best fallout game.
Not even close.
I think it's close, but 2 is better
no it's undercooked.
settlements are shit, they are the definition of unfun.

So the whole game is optional? Is only way to win is not to play at all?
The best was to play bethesda games is to frick off and make your own fun with 100 mods. I must have 2k hours collectively in their games and have only beaten one of them
So the best way to play Bethesda games is by not playing their game? I feel like you are missing a point of this thread.
>Good thing they're optional
Fricking barely considering there's almost no settlements or traders otherwise
So is there any reason to touch fallout 4 over skyrim? You can pretty much make skyrim CoC1 but I've hardly seen anything for fallout
The junk system is fun and makes you feel like a scavenger. The guns and gore are also satisfying
Posting here because I don't know where the frick else to make this post without a new thread.

yawn
not an RTS but HOI4 has a Fallout total conversion that I've heard is good. It's called Old World Blues.
they gangfricked all my mods

reading what people write on any video game forums. i also would not give a shit what others write. i already dont.
still waiting for some total conversion mod that brings an actual good story to this shit
The "NextGen" update is not. It's nothing but bugs.
>It's nothing but bugs
Seems like a fair enough definition of "next gen" to me.
What's with this game that makes NV trannies seethe and trow autistic freakouts so badly?
>Fallout 1 - GTA 1
>Fallout 2 - GTA 2
>Fallout: Tactics - GTA London
>Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel - GTA Advance
>Fallout 3 - GTA 3
>Fallout NV - GTA San Andreas
>Fallout 4 - GTA V
fallout 4 is more like gta 4 than 5 in that it completely dogshit
