Yeah it’s fine. Getting rollback. Eventually. Very deep in its life so you’re going to have an uphill depending on past experience with fighterimg games
LukeGAWD's game is the only relevant fighting game on the market. Play SF6 and quit jacking off to anime trannies.
strive is a glorified party game lmao
Guilty Gear was never all that important or interesting as far as FGs go, people liked it for the music, characters and visuals. It stumbled into success after Xrd and by having a very lucky launch window with Strive (launching just as the previous generation of FGs was winding down and the next one hasn't started yet), but it's still a very janky game that doesn't know what it wants to be. If you haven't played FGs before, you should definitely start with Street Fighter, not GG.
I specifically asked about strive, don't shill me your game. It looks ugly and I'm not interested
Strive is totally fine if you never played any fighting games before, it is not as hard compared to previous entries. Just know that if this is your first time playing online, you are going to lose, a lot. Focus on improving/practicing against other people rather than winning. That will come once you start improving.
This is a bait thread, but just to give an actual answer to anyone who wants to know; yes.
Especially if you've never played a fighting game before, Strive is a pretty good place to start as it's pretty easy to pick up and there's plenty of other newbies out there to grow with. +R is the best game in the franchise imo, but that game is at that point where the only people you'll find online are those who've dumped a good amount of time into it and will frick you up before you even know what's happening.
But at the end of the day, you should be playing whatever looks cool to you; so if you want to give Strive a go right ahead and do that.
SF6 is unironically a really good place to start. I know people on /v meme on it because muh contrarianism, but it's actually great for newcomers and pros: accessible modern controls, a serviceable single player mode that exists to get you familiar with the controls, comprehensive training system and an active tournament scene. That said, the skill ceiling is still insurmountably high; even pros are saying it might be too hard because there are so many things you have to think about.
Strive is a pretty dead game at this point and it only maintains some relevance by posting le epic groomed character. Your options in 2023 are older fighters, SF6, and Smash.

I'm not gonna get a pat on the back for calling him a girl either, infact I only feel more encouraged to call him by his pre-groom gender if it upsets you this much.
Just play +R or check out fightcade's library. >I never played any fighting game BTW
You are going to lose, a lot. These games take a long time to get good at.
I think the art style and animation is top notch, but I personally don't play fighting games that much
It's fun to just frick around with friends sometimes that's all
It was never worth it ever. It's only value is being braindead easy to play but at that point why are you even playing a fighting game. Is Xrd still alive with the rollback? If so, go for that if you want the same aesthetic.
yes. It's fun and pretty af and still populated. Don't listen to the capcvck cultists, lukegayS or disgruntled xrd players.
Sf6 is especially terrible, slow, boring and the ugliest fighting game in the last ten years. Pic related
It still has around 2k players online on steam, despite the SF6 honeymoon and the fact that the game is currently waiting for its season 3 to begin. It also has crossplay with PS and Xbox, so the game is probably gonna be alive and well for some years. The player numbers will also probably skyrocket for a while in august when the new character will be revealed.
If your interested go for it, it's a really good game, despite what the doomers/capcuks/Xturds wants you to believe.
Three major downsides that you should be aware, though: >The netcode is among the best on the market but the lobbies are fricking terrible. >There's barely any solo content, so online only >Despite being among the easiest game to get into, it's still Guilty Gear on its third year, so you should expect to a lot of bullshit and to lose for some time until you get confortable with the game.
SF6 is as good a baby newcomer game and it has a strong advantage over Strive in that it's not a bad sequel.
This. In fact even if you want you can still be a homosexual and post Bridget while playing SF6 without having to touch Strive
Yeah but my idk if my pc can run it and I'm not planning to upgrade my rig soon since most games that I play are low spec anyways.
then stick with fightcade and older anime games like xrd
What do you think about dragon ball fighterz?
The whole autocombo thing it has going on is lame.
She doesn't even have her original playstyle

>Bridget threads getting spammed everyday again
What intentions could be behind this I wonder.

Just play GGXXACR Steam Edition(TM), it's the definitive Guilty Gear game.
LukeGAWD's game is the only relevant fighting game on the market. Play SF6 and quit jacking off to anime trannies.
>I never played any fighting game BTW
You're not gonna play it regardless of whether people say it's worth it or not.
honestly i can't go back to strive. patch in modern controls so i can play again.
strive is a glorified party game lmao
No. Play king of fighters or tekken.
cute boy in the pic

who is this cute boy?
You know exactly who Bridget is and you're calling her a boy as a form of political protest on an anonymous imageboard no one cares about.
>her
end your miserable life
Cry more, won't change what they do with Bridget.
I'm not gonna get a pat on the back for calling him a girl either, infact I only feel more encouraged to call him by his pre-groom gender if it upsets you this much.
I literally don't care, you're the one telling people to kill themselves over it.
You can do whatever you'd like, anon.
Just play +R or check out fightcade's library.

asuka is pretty cool
This looks like cancer to play against, I'm so glad I'm done with this game.

It's fun to just frick around with friends sometimes that's all
>yet another thread by the brown, "british" resetera tourist troony
Go play KOFXV.

Strive is a good game for beginners. And when you get good you can play +R and Rev 2.
Do you know fighting games sir? Yeah you know about cancels, but you know about roman cancels? Spartan cancels? Greek cancels? Because I do!
yes. It's fun and pretty af and still populated. Don't listen to the capcvck cultists, lukegayS or disgruntled xrd players.
