If they ever make another it will be slow. The speedometer will read 1,000KPH, but the sense of speed will expose it as a straight up lie. The narrowest tracks will be as wide as the widest tracks in GX. There will be no sharp turns. I hope you like not being able to kill other pilots. Say goodbye to custom machines, and welcome extremely bad netcode in 8 (Maybe 16) player online racing. The only good that might come out of it is less rubberbanding AI.
Oh, and the soundtrack will put you to sleep instead of hyping you up more than a 2 liter of Mountain Dew Voltage.

Listen dog, I love X's OST as much as the next guy (or probably more than most) but GX is undeniably a better product. Better graphics, more machines, more race tracks, a machine editor, the only thing it's missing is a track creator.
I don't think GX is worse, but I see it as a side-grade. Better graphics and more machines, sure, but it's missing the X-cup, Death Race, and track editor. X has more tracks and (worse) custom machines with the Expansion Kit. There are also physics differences but that's just up to preference.

It's crazy how high the skill ceiling is in both X and GX if you so much as try to dabble with fully controlling the ship via drifts and shift boosts.
Blame Nintendo for not including the expansion kit in any of the rereleases.

Nagoshi's assertion with regards to sales numbers were unsubstantiated. If the game sold over a million units, it'd have been listed in the CESA White Papers, which detailed Gamecube first party sales up until December of 2014. That's all it needs to be at this point. We know Nintendo can't make a better game from the ground up, but it could give a few small improvements to GX. Like the rubberbanding AI.
Bonus story challenges would probably not be that hard either. Or hell, the cars' true stats being displayed in the vehicle select screen instead of lying letter grades.
That's what I'm talking about. A graphics upgrade and a patch to fix a few things. A track creator would be good as well, but I get the feeling that's too much effort for modern Nintendo.
The leakers are wrong. The F-Zero game will be a sequel not a remake or port
Even if my favorite series gets a new entry, I have no hope it won't be mediocre, I expect it will be the first F-Zero game that I dislike.
