I emulated the first three gen Pokemon games on my iPhone 6 when I jailbroke it back in like 2015
For games like rpgs and shit where quick reaction times don’t really matter, it’s fun and comfy.
You can forget about playing a platformer or action game on it, it’s impossible on an emulator touchscreen
Doesn't a lot when the phone chip won't hold theee clocks for more than a few seconds unlike the laptop chip. There's a reason why mobile games are all stuttery and just feel bad to play.
I've been emulating PS1 and Gamecube on my Samsung with a PS4 controller connect recently and using a Chromecast to play on my TV. It genuinely feels like just playing on a console.
I played a bit of Resi 4 Remake, which was free for some reason, on my iPhone. Granted, it was an absolutely awful experience even with a gamepad because everything is tiny. Phones are absolutely the worst way to play games including this emulator, which I've been using to play Ghost Babel on.
The iPhone 15 or whatever it's called is pretty small isn't it?
I've been using a OnePlus with a DualShock 4 clip mount to play some SNES games and replay the gameboy/GBA Hamtaro games and it's been serviceable at least in landscape orientation although I would one hundred percent agree that portrait orientation is cancer despite feeling more "authentic" and that a dedicated handheld with a larger screen and physical buttons would be better.
What's so amusing about this is that Apple is partly RESPONSIBLE for the legality of emulators because Steve Jobs did an onstage demo of a Playstation emulator for the Macintosh at Spaceworld 25 years ago, which prompted Sony to unsuccessfully sue the company behind it and set the legal precedent that emulators did not violate copyright infringement.
I want to emulate a retro console from the 1980's
Which console would be ideal for me? >i hate nintendo >i hate mario bros >I hate the NES/Famicom >I hate the game boy >completely anti-nintendo console in everything >console with anti-nintendo design
it hurts my brain thinking of playing such games with touch control buttons

They make phone add ons that create tactile buttons.
is there one that doesn’t have joysticks? I can’t find any
actually fine for 4 homies in a row games
Pokémon is fine since it's grid based movement and a turn based RPG.
Other games are a nightmare though.
are modern iPhones powerful enough to run ps1 emulators?

Modern phones are managing Switch emulation at this point.

It didn't even begin lol
>I-IS THAT A HECKING EMULATOR??!??!?!? @NINTENDO @FBI @CIA ARREST THESE PEOPLE NOOOOOOOOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
igays deserve worse
I'm not sure what's happening. Should I ask the FBI to investigate this or not?

MSX
Reasons why an MSX is the ideal retro console (PC) that I am looking to emulate?
This got a Genesis port recently so that reason is gone.
PC98
i got it on my phone
