No, I don't think Jerma has changed as a person, but the pressure from having like 20k viewers every stream has made him try to be more generally entertaining. When the occasional one guy moment happens, it's like a joke for a few minutes, whereas in the past, it'd take over the entire stream.
You can tell when he's floundering to come up with content. In the past his chat was fairly readable and full of people who were just as weird as Jerma. Now it's filled with normie zoomers from twitter/discord. Jerma literally used to be /ourguy/, now his chat is filled with normies. Given that so much of Jerma's jokes came from chat, this means the streams take an entirely different tone. Jerma cannot reasonably communicate with chat because there are too many people, and the interactions he does have often feel forced or unfunny because the quality of chatters is so low compared to how it was even as late as 2020.

I've watched Jerma since his early TF2 videos, and I have to say critical mass in chat being ruined was the archeology stream. After that, his popularity fricking exploded and every single zoomer wanted in on the funny eclown.

Why are Casual servers so quiet until someone actually speaks up, anyway? Just something I've noticed, casual matches feel strangely lonely. It's a stark contrast from community servers. I know that every online personality has annoying fans but Jerma's seem to pride themselves on being as obnoxious as possible, spamming memes of him everywhere. Doing shit that if one person did would be seen as psychotic and go down in internet history as insane (like decorating their own bathrooms with custom-printed jerma mats), but the whole community is like that so it's fine.
