That's because it is. Exact same MO as Baldur's Gay 3, and both games are Tencent backed.

I think as modern life progresses and those really bleak concerns go away entirely people latch more and more onto things in a manner that doesn't fit the severity of an "issue" if this could even be called that.

This is part of that “strong times make strong men” quote. People need some bare minimum level of conflict in their life to grow themselves avoid going stir-crazy. When they can’t get that kind of conflict, they’ll make it themselves, or they’ll wring every drop of conflict out of the few tiny problems they currently have.

Anon, just because you think orange man bad doesn’t mean you have to disagree with the general sentiment. These words go beyond burger politics, stretching back to when life on Earth first began. Like the dinosaurs, long periods of stagnation without pressures to evolve will lead to extinction once the hard times hit.

            >stagnation without pressures to evolve will lead to extinction
Except we don't live in times of stagnation or lack in pressure.
Culture keeps changing, technology keeps progressing, and we still struggle with poverty, wageslavery, alienation, abuse by state, crime, as well as the looming doom of climatic change and armed conflict.

Half of that stuff we’re NOT dealing with, at least in first world countries where this stagnation hits the hardest, and the other half is a little more abstract than “you might be killed”. These kinds of esoteric dangers aren’t something that your biological instincts acknowledge as “conflict”, so they don’t mentally satiate your brain the same way a good ol’ fashioned war or stranding out in the wilderness does.

Hard times also created literally Hitler and Stalin, so this quote and image are moronic regardless of political views. Here's a better one:

"The old world is dying, and the new world struggles to be born: now is the time of monsters."

Welcome to literally all of Twitter and far too much of Ganker: bored, miserable, bitter people screaming and whining about shit doesn't matter at all instead of doing anything marginally productive, interesting or healthy.

      There is no going back.

Honestly, I find the idea of pandering to either the horny NEETs or the "SJW" boogymen to be completely childish. Most gamers who have a social life just want a good game in the sea of slop that we have been putting up with. From what I can tell, Stellar Blade is one of the few that breaks the mold and earned a place among modern masterpieces such as Helldivers 2 and Baldur's Gate 3.

Though in the entierty of the controversy, the side I have most beef with is the ones who are complaining about even the most obscure censorship. People who give a shit about even the most miniscule of censorship usually have a lot more to hide from face value.

Well no shit. On this board you have moronic worthless subhumans. who the world be better off without, going on twitter, reddit and resetera to screenshot every post that says something negative about a game to spin a narrative about how a game is heckin controversial, even though only 0.000000001% of humanity cares. It's all done to market the game, because let's be honest you could never sell slop like Stellar Blade with just the mediocre gameplay.

I predicted all of this. I called out the shilling. I told marketeers to stop spamming threads. I knew about the bait and switch. I knew there was nothing more to this pile of shit than the artificial and constructed controversy, because the gameplay and story wouldn't be anything note worthy. And everyone called me a troony for daring to shit on their coomslop. You deserve this. Let's see what marketing campaign you morons will fall for next.

      >I predicted all of this. I called out the shilling.

Koreans wouldn't have even thought about doing htis. Eve isn't anything other than K-Pop looking woman and isn't seen as outrageous in Korea. Online leftists are just that insane. Literally that's it. They have to stir shit up because they're twitter addicts.

People can't wrap their heads around how stupid they are for getting mad and innocuous things.

    >It’s strange how many controversies, successes, failures, etc., nowadays seem completely astroturfed

They have untested loopy social theories called social constructivism, that holds everything is socially constructed including beauty and femininity. Thus if you "socially construct" pretty women, it's an evil oppression that must be fought tooth and nail.

Yes it's all insanely drama conjured up out of nothing, but that's what twitter leftists do.
